Death eater application
Blood Status: Truly pure.
Connection to the Dark Lord: Rabastan's family has always had links to the Dark Lord, and this was made even stronger when Rabastan's older brother joined the ranks of the Death Eaters after leaving school. Rabastan was encouraged greatly his entire life in the Dark Lord's direction, and as a lad who had always idolised his brother, he wanted nothing more than to follow in Rodolphus' footsteps and make his parents proud. A meeting was set up for him upon leaving Hogwarts, and he proved to be just as dedicated to the cause as his brother before him, and quite capable of carrying out the tasks required of him as a Death Eater.
Useful Skills: Rabastan has trained from a young age in dark magic, and his parents spared no expense in getting their sons all of the training and teaching that they would need in the things Hogwarts refused to cover. He was a skilled duelist from a young age, and used that to help him gain a position as an Auror in the Ministry.
Rabastan is a well loved member of a powerful pureblood family. He has pureblood connections to die for and is more than capable of bringing more and more pure people to the fold of the Death Eaters if necessary. He is deemed a trustworthy fellow amongst these circles, and the skill of being able to demand respect and trust from important people is very useful indeed.
Useful Affiliations: Rabastan has been an Auror for many years, and recently applied for an opening as a minister's guard when the new minister was appointed. He is by her side every single day, and completely willing, ready, and able to kill her if needed, or even to try and bring her around to the Dark Lord's side.

He will kill at the drop of a hat, either because he has been ordered to or because someone has angered him and his rather volatile temper has gotten the best of him. He is subtle in his daily life, and enjoys the deception of "protecting" the Minister for Magic every day. People never suspect him of being linked with Death Eaters because he's so authentic in life, he's a nice guy, laid back, hard working, respectable. He loves it. He genuinely loves his life, and his work for the Dark Lord is a huge part of that. He couldn't imagine doing anything else with his life, and having his big brother by his side through it all is just the icing on the cake for him.
