Order of the phoenix application

Connection to the Order: Percival has family that is in the Order and a few friends that are also in it. When he saw the terror that was spreading at home by the Dark Lord and his followers, Percival grew interest if a separate organization other than the Ministry had stepped up to fight back. Both of his brothers are apart of the Order and as well as few friends. In asking questions about the possibility of an organization formed to fight back, he was introduced to the Order by his oldest brother Caradoc.
Useful Skills: Percival is a Curse-Breaker who specializes in Egyptian curses and counter-curses giving him an edge up on people who have narrowed their focus of curses. Given his job he has learned a few nasty curses and learned other ways to counter them and block them which would come in handy during fighting death eaters and their dark magic. Percival is not an expert in dark magic, but he does possess a wide knowledge of it from his work. Percival does travel a lot for work giving him the opportunity to complete missions for the Order that are not in the country, plus he can be a lookout in different areas where he travels. He has also made several contacts in different countries from his work and his personal travels trying to discover the grave of Merlin, giving him contacts to find different information that might be useful to the Order. Also, Percival is a scholar at heart who lives to discover magical items etc. from lost tombs and treasure vaults hidden around the world, (as he has done in Egypt). He can be of use by finding a item the Order may need or find useful or simply if they are trying to prevent something from falling into the hands of the Dark Lord.
Useful Affiliations: Works at Gringotts as a Curse-Breaker, giving him contacts through his travels. Percival also holds a good relationship with the Goblins of Gringotts with them trusting him and respect on both sides. He keeps this relationship positive by always selling any goblin made items he finds only to Gringotts and has been skilled Curse-Breaker for them.
Why join the Order of the Phoenix? One of the most basic reasons if Percival comes from a muggle family and is a Muggle-Born or as the Death Eaters see him Mud-Blood. Muggle-Borns are being hunted and they are primary targets along blood traitors, knowing this would just kick in his mood for survival just like any other person. He decided to join the Order mainly after his mother died, despite her death being an accident it was a wake-up call. His sister became an Auror right after it which was another wakeup call what was happening to his home while he was away for work and traveling all the time. Knowing that his sister would be hunting down and fight dark wizards and basically Death Eaters the same little sister his mother told him he was always to protect and look out for. This drove me to decide along with the Headlines of deaths and kidnappings, to decide to join the Order. His two older brothers were members already and with them being apart it, this would make him believe it was even more necessary to join and help.
