PERSONALITY Boggart: Returning to live with her biological father who abused Freya's mom. Mirror of Erised: She would see herself in love and married to a man that is her equal and treats her with respect. Patronus: Ocelot - Freya's happiest memory comes from the day and following months after he mom left her abusive father, and ended up finding a decent man who in turn became her real father. Freya can be described as a fun and loving person to be around. She is witty, kind and smart. She is also cunning and fairly ambitious as well. However, she is and will always be guarded around men. And that is because of what she witnessed as a child when her biological father would abuse her mom. It takes quite a while for her to open up around men that approach her, which is why she has very few male friends, and has only been in two relationships, neither lasting more than several weeks. But once you get to know her you will experience the fun and loving side of her. But until that time she keeps to herself mostly. Unless you piss her off and at that time you might want to run for the hills and find a place that you can hide in. She’ll still find you eventually and make you wish that you hadn’t pissed her off. Also, don’t ever try to change her mind once she has decided upon a course of action because she will not be swayed easily or if at all. She loves her brothers, sister, and parents, and her very close friends. There isn’t much that she wouldn’t do for them. Freya is also dedicated to her work as an unspeakable. And not just dedicated but she enjoys it immensely as it gives her a chance to learn new things that haven’t been found out before. The only down side is that she can’t really share what she does with anyone, other than those she works with. Which is kind of a damper, as she loves to share new things with those that she is close to. But it is a small sacrifice for her. She hadn’t married Freya’s biological father, Samuel Hamilton, who refused to marry her but wanted to live with her, which she agreed to at the time. Sienna had given birth to a baby boy the year prior to Freya’s birth. The first couple years of Freya’s life seemed normal for the toddler until one night when Freya heard shouting and a scream coming from her parent’s room which happened to be next to her room and it had woken her up. Being the young toddler almost three-year-old that she was, Freya got out of her bed and went and peaked through the cracked door and saw her biological father, dad at the time, hitting her mom and screaming at her. She started crying and shouting for him to stop but he didn’t and had used his wand to slam the door in her face. It didn’t hit her but the suddenness and force of it made her fall backwards where she stayed crying for quite some time. After that traumatizing scene having played out in front of her, Freya would do her best to stay away from him. You might ask how a toddler almost three-year-old would know to stay away from someone dangerous, when they are still growing and developing mentally, well it is part of the somewhat developed survival instinct that we all have as humans. It was almost year before her mom got enough courage to fight back and then leave with her two children. After that life got better as they had been able to stay with her mom’s aunt and uncle. Who adored and spoiled Freya and her brother. In the following months her mom was able to get a job even though she had been told that she didn’t need to. A year after they had left her mom had met and started seeing Johnathan Nightingale, an accomplished barrister who had been widowed when his wife died giving birth to their second son. It wasn’t long after that they married. Freya had been a bit weary of her new dad at first but in time she had come to like him and even love him as he always treated his family with kindness. Her childhood had turned for the better and she had even gotten two new brothers even though they weren’t related by blood, and she had grown close to them as she had her own brother. In time her parents had two more kids a boy and a girl. Which was good because now she wasn’t out numbered as much as she used to be. Freya took it upon herself as she got older to always look after them as an older sibling should. When she was old enough to go to Hogwarts Freya was excited, mostly because she would get to learn new things, and be able to spend more time with her older brothers. But at the same time, she was saddening by the fact that she would be leaving her younger siblings. It was hard for her but not the end of the world as her mom told her. She was sorted into Ravenclaw even though the sorting hat had a tough time placing her as she apparently possessed qualities of three of the four houses, but her desire to learn new things won out and she was place in Ravenclaw. Her school years were like any regular school years spent learning some drama, she made a few friends that she was close with and those were mostly other girls as she was still wary of boys and men and tried not to interact with them more than necessary unless they were her brothers or their friends. Freya loved to learn and had read quite a few of the books in the school library but, where she really learned was hands on and asking questions to her professors both in and out of class. Trying to learn new things. Some people thought that all she had was knowledge, but she was no slouch with a wand since she liked to apply the things that she learned. After she graduated she went on to become an unspeakable in the mysterious Department of Mysteries of the Ministry. More specifically the Death Chamber. It was interesting to say the least. She not only learned about death and its intricacies, but also the many ways in which it happened, whether it be by magical or mundane ways or natural causes. However, she couldn’t share the things that she learned there with anyone. Freya even had to learn all sorts of spells, whether they were “light” or “dark”. Which changed her perspective on magic and led her to form the opinion/belief that there is no light or dark magic, but rather the intent behind it all. Outside of work she spends her time with her friends, family, and traveling. In light of recent events and the current climate of their world she hasn’t take sides yet and would rather she didn’t have to, but if she did she would fight against those that are causing all of this unrest, and the deaths as well. She just hopes that no one harms her family, otherwise she will use everything she knows to bring the offenders to justice.
