Blood Status: truly pureblood (one of the sacred 28)
Connection to the Dark Lord: Lucius came to know the Dark Lord through his father, Abraxas Malfoy. Though he was not directly involved with the Dark Lord, Abraxas looked up to him and that made Lucius followed his father. He shared the same views with the Dark Lord, which the world needed to be vanquished of all the inferiors, and only the purebloods deserved to live. He became more interested with the Dark Lord and his ideology while he was still at Hogwarts and he was proud to have someone who was powerful enough to get rid of the non-purebloods, leaving the world only with the purebloods, the ones that were worthy of ruling the world.
Useful Skills: Lucius was very good at potions, having been dubbed the school’s potion master during his time in Hogwarts. And he was fairly good at every other subject as he was a tutor to another student. He began reading about dark arts when he was five or six years old in his family’s library so he had an extensive knowledge on dark arts and that would be a privileged to the Dark Lord as he can tutor young and newly recruited Death Eaters. He was also a spell damage Healer so that would be another advantage to the injured Death Eaters. They won’t have to go to the St. Mungo’s to get healed and risked being captured by the Aurors.

Why join the Dark Lord? To rid the world of the filthy mudblood was the main thing on his mind while thinking of joining the Dark Lord. He didn’t see the advantage of having them around, walking freely when they don’t deserve the magic they have. He wanted to join the Death Eaters rank as he believed that the Dark Lord could vanquish all the vermin with his power. The Dark Lord can purify the world and it will be free of the half-bloods and mudbloods. Lucius also felt that he belonged to the Death Eaters rank. He would do anything for the Dark Lord. He feared him because he was so powerful and nothing could ever defeat him. He saw his future with the Death Eaters and he was sure, the Dark Lord could cleanse the world in no time. He wanted to join the Dark Lord as his follower, because he was sure the Dark Lord will succeed.
