PERSONALITY Boggart: Heights. Bloody terrified! Everything around the room somehow seems to disappear and Lenore is left standing on the edge of a cliff with no safety rails and a strong wind. Mirror of Erised: A husband and large family but it's more about being in love rather than the family itself. Patronus: Wire haired fox terrier - playing as the sunset by the beach of her family's holiday home when she was about 9 and every year since! The family beach house is her happy place and somewhere she visits every summer. The smell of a barbecue, the salty sea air and he gentle breeze of summer as the sun sets and she plays and dances as she pleases is true happiness to Lenore. Quirky, fun, unique. Those are the main three words that people think of when they think of Lenore. She's nearly always happy and smiling and loves the way her life is continuing to play out. She has never been faced with anything truly horrific in her life. She's herself. There's nothing more important to Lenore than people being themselves and when she sees people being themselves - wearing as they please, enjoying what they like - it helps encourages her to continue carrying on being herself. This doesn't mean that Lenore can't take anything seriously. In fact she can be deeply moved by others emotions and situations. She's deeply empathetic and will help out absolutely anyone she can. She has no sides in this war but she would like to see it ended. In true Hufflepuff alumna form, Lenore is not only friendly but a hard worker. She's loyal to the core to those she considers her friends and make a good enough first impression and she'll consider you a friend from the get go. She's not blindly trusting, she believes trust should be earned. She'll give just about anyone a chance but just because she can come off as sweet and lovely, compassionate and loyal, does not mean she does not have a fierce streak. Lenore isn't prone to anger but if she's set off she can be quite the force to be reckoned with. She ha s a talent for Charms above all else and knows several hexes non-verbally. She's a Professor and is usually quite encouraging of her students - all of them - but she does not tolerate foolishness in her class. Others: none yet. Lenore was the first born child to Sierra and Peri Montague in the autumn of '46. She was loved and doted on and grew up believing she truly had the best family in the world. Both her parents were always excellent role models, working hard at their jobs to keep the family living a happy life together but there was nothing more important that family to any of the Montague's and that was something Lenore took from her parents lives. From their relationship as a couple Lenore knew there was no need to ever settle. She grew up with her parents absolutely in love, completely doting on one another and never neglecting each other. As a child she never really thought much of their relationship, she always just assumed everyone's parents were like that. As an adult it's something she desires more than anything else in the world but she will not settle. She is a romantic, she believes the soul mates are out there and that she will meet hers some day. Growing up Lenore was always encouraged to be herself. She would dress herself in anything she wanted, she'd wear mismatched clothes, her mothers large rimmed sun hat and her fathers too-large sunglasses. Her childhood was happy and beautiful and looking back Lenore cannot remember a single thing as being bad. After receiving her letter for Hogwarts, Lenore went to Diagon Alley with her parents alone. Her Montague grandparents were looking after her siblings so she could have time alone with her parents and the experience was magical. She loved every minute of shopping with her parents. New robes, new cauldron, new wand (well, her first actually), but most excitingly, a new pet! Unlike the Owls most kids were getting, or the cats, Lenore opted for something a little more out there. She chose a three toed tree toad and was pleased as punch about it! Hogwarts was amazing for Lenore. She made so many friends, there were a few that disliked her but she tried not to pay them much attention but continued to be friendly towards them when in close vicinity. She wouldn't take any crap though. She was never quick with her words but she could be very quick with a short lasting hex if she felt someone deserved it, and usually they'd more than deserved it. Hogwarts was straight forward and beautiful. Lenore missed her family while she was away but her friends were also like family so during the school holidays she would miss them greatly and she would go home for all the school holidays, even the eater ones, using the train rides to do homework and catch up on reading. After graduating Hogwarts Lenore got a job at Saint Mungo's as a healer. She was there for ten years before she took up and open position at Hogwarts. She became the potions Professor at aged 27 and has been teaching there ever since. She lives at the castle through the year and the summer she spends at her parents beach house down along the south west coast. Last year she was made head of Hufflepuff house when the old head of house retired and she has never been more happier in her life, although all she would like to do now is fall in love. While she's had many friends over the years the romantic interests have been few and far between. Lenore has a habit of mis-reading romantic signals as people just being friendly. She's had a few boyfriends and girlfriends over the years but there's never been anything lasting. She's never broken off a relationship and she's never let one drift apart, she's always been the one to be dumped which always upsets her but she manages through life and she will continue to put herself out there for she knows there is someone right for her out there somewhere.
