PERSONALITY Boggart: Her mother telling her she's a disgrace to the family. Mirror of Erised: Herself at the head of a huge family of pureblooded children. Patronus: Fox - Her first standing ovation, in a little theatre in Bradford. Elizabeth is generally a sweet and caring girl; she does her best to be kind to all her friends, and they know that they can rely on her if ever in need. She is extremely loyal to both her friends and her family, and would give her life to protect those that she loved in a heartbeat if required, although she would naturally prefer to avoid that eventuality ever arising. The fact that Elizabeth was sorted into Ravenclaw, unlike her parents, is indicative of the fact that she is not quite so calculating and sly as most of her ancestors, and this has always been a worry to her since, although members of her family have been Ravenclaws in the past, and her family consider it to be preferable to either Hufflepuff or Gryffindor, she fears that it shows her as being inferior. She is also given to a sarcastic sense of humour, although this is only occasionally apparent when she is in familiar company, since she doesn't consider sarcasm to be appropriate for a lady of her class. However, there is a flip side to her nature, and she does completely shift when addressing those she regards as being inferior to her- namely, Muggleborns. Then, she tends to let her inner sadist out, and the change can be quite a shock to those who know her only as a complete sweetheart. She was their first child and was consequently incredibly spoiled for the first few years of her life, then more or less left to get on with it after the arrival of her younger brother, Michael, who, as the heir to the family name and fortune, perhaps understandably received rather a lot of attention.. For the first eleven years of her life, Elizabeth was educated by private tutors and did exceedingly well in many subjects, especially those which, while not exactly essential to a magical curriculum, were considered to be an important part of a pureblood lady's repertoire; for example, singing, dancing and playing the piano, as well as some slightly less traditional elements such as acting. Elizabeth attended Hogwarts and, unlike her parents, was sorted into Ravenclaw House. Although initially upset at this, she soon came to love her House and her Housemates, and although still worried about what her parents might think, she settled in happily to life as an eagle. By the end of her Hogwarts career, she was generally considered to be one of the most intelligent girls in the school, and heads were shaken in the staffroom when she revealed her intentions of becoming an entertainer, although she was never realistically going to take up any kind of 'serious' career when she had all the wealth of the Greengrass family fortunes available to her without having to lift a finger. 'Liza', which she adopted as a stage name since it was short and catchy, quickly rose to prominence performing in various theatres and clubs up and down the country, and before too long had passed, Elizabeth had the choice of any venue that she cared to name, although her mother's influence might have had something to do with that- but her own merits were never in doubt. For her eighteenth birthday, her father gave her a gift- her own home which, even if it was only the lodge at the end of the manor drive, was thrilling for her. It allowed her to have her own space whilst still being close enough to her family for comfort and security- and, of course, to see her beloved parents and siblings whenever she liked. Unfortunately, her eighteenth birthday marked another event; Liza split up with her boyfriend of four years when she found him in an intimate position with another girl at her birthday party, and though she was very upset for some time afterwards, she eventually managed to get over it and looks forward with anticipation to the time when she might find a new love of her life.
