❝Be my girl, I'll be your man I see my future in your eyes❞
You honestly couldn’t even tell that Lily wasn’t comfortable. She moved like she owned the place. And that was the key to it all. Simply act like you owned the place. Don’t be an outsider. It didn’t take much to fit in. Of course, if they started asking more in depth questions, you’d have you be quick with your thinking, but well… even if you gave all the right answers, the chances of someone still hating you were high.
Living the Elite life was a dangerous game. No matter what you did, they still hated you; even when they loved you.
It was one of the reasons that James just didn’t care.
“Because the old us was a one sided love, lots of squabbling, and not us. The new us, while still squabbling because you’re simply beautiful when you’re mad, will be to a unified us. And the fact that I will be able to call you the new Mrs. Potter.” Yes, a new them was much more preferable. “Why Evans, if that’s all you planned on doing for the night, we certainly could have forgone the party.” He grinned slightly as he took a sip of his champagne. Merlin, he was a bad influence.

L ily had learned the hard way that to show one's weakness was never the best way forwards. Even if you weren't confident, you should look it. Fake it until you make it. And so she was dressed up, she was made up, she was arm in arm with one of the most handsome wizards in the room, and she was absolutely bloody terrified but she was smiling through it. This room seemed to be half full of purebloods, and while she was of course well aware that not all purebloods were purists- she was going to marry one of them, for Merlin's sake!- she still wasn't happy knowing that there were a fair number of people in the room who would far rather not only that she wasn't there but that she didn't exist. But to show fear would be to give in and to give them satisfaction, and Lily did not intend to do that. "Are you telling me I'm not beautiful all the time?" she demanded, a smile quirking at her lips, although she had to admit that he had a point. "Oh no, we must have the party. It gives me more time to get drunk and convince myself that it's a good idea." For a split second, her tongue flickered barely perceptibly at the corner of her mouth. James Henry Potter

| E arly that morning Oliver was about to take out the trash when he noticed a brightly colored invitation sitting right there on the very top, begging to get noticed. Being the noisy brother he was, he made sure the coast was clear of his brother before he quickly plucked the paper from the garbage and read over the colorful print. Why on earth would his brother throw this away without making a mention about it…oh right, he was a stick in the mud who did partake in crowds or a good time. With a devilish grin, he tossed the invitation on the counter before he went back to taking out the trash like the good little brother. Needless to say, through careful planning and savvy word play, he managed to trick his brother into agreeing to go to the party, running off to his room to get ready before Kit could get angry and back out. Tonight was a night he would not allow his brother to stay at home and be anti-social….and he may or may not have other motives in attending this function but nobody else needed to know that but him. After taking a shower and cleaning up his facial hair so that way it was neat and trimmed, he padded his way over to his closet. This was a problem, he did not own anything formal…. Not even a plain white button up shirt. “Well, shoot” he mumbled to himself as he did another quick scan just incase he missed something. It was too late to rush out to look for something to buy. He snapped his fingers as a bright idea came to mind, “Ooooh Brother!” He let out in a singsong tone before making his way out to the hall. A pair of knuckles rapped at the wood door that led into Kit’s bedroom, Oliver preparing his puppy dog eyes for when his brother opened the door. Of course, he was met with those hard golden eyes, but Kit could not stay mad at him for too long before letting him inside his room. They spend the next hour settling on what to wear until they were both dressed and looking rather handsome. Oliver looked…different than his normal self. Hell, …he was going to go all out. His brother managed to find a blazer that fit him, it was black with a metallic silver pattern with a bold collar. He rolled his shoulders to get the fit just right before he fixed the cuffs. His long legs wore a pair of black slacks and a pair of glossy black wingtip shoes on his feet. A failed attempt of a bowtie on his neck as he looked at himself in the mirror. He hair falling nicely and thank merlin that it was not frizzing up like normal. “Shall we head out?” he asked his brother when he noticed he was just stalling for time by finding anything to fix on his persons. They reached the club and waited their turn in line, reaching the bouncer in record time. They gave their names while the bouncer grazed the sheet of paper, hiking a thumb over his shoulder to let them through. The doors opened and the music greeted them, Oli ushering them over to the side of the dance floor where there was a tall table waiting for them. A waitress passing them carrying a full tray of champagne, Oli awkwardly reaching out to take a hold of two glasses and passing one to Kit, “I know you are here against your will but here is to us having a blast into the new year? Eh?” he held up his flute glass waiting to see how his brother would react. |

Post by Livia Eleanor Grace Burke on Jan 11, 2018 14:08:19 GMT
Starlight New Year Dora peered over the balcony beside Liv and pointed to a rather thick set teen holding drinks above his head like a complete idiot. He was just asking for a drowning by doing that in such a crowded area, and Liv bit her lip, half hoping for a show, half hoping he'd make it to Jovian in one piece. "Nameless guy doesn't seem to have too many brain cells," she commented, sipping her drink happily as the two girls watched. She was comfortable with Dora, more than most of her friends since the girls had shared a dorm for seven years while they were at Hogwarts. That kind of closeness brought with it a level of comfort similar to that which you would have with siblings, and she liked that feeling a lot. It was better than having to put on heirs and graces and hold back snippy comments, and it meant she could place her glass on the table and adjust her boobs in her dress without needing to worry about offending anyone. "These things are supposed to stay in place, but they really want to escape," she grunted, shimmying her dress around a bit until she was satisfied that the girls were comfortable for now. She had a feeling she'd be doing that a lot tonight. Fin had excused himself long before she'd began toying with her assets, and she watched him cross the dance floor towards Dora's cousin as the sound of smashing glass drew attention from more than a few people in the crowd. Green eyes followed her own cousin as he dealt with the situation of Jovian's tantrum throwing boyfriend as only an Avery could, by swilling him with the drink he'd thrown - Liv would bet there were a few shards of glass in the stuff that flew into the guy's face - and humiliating him in front of everyone. "Ooops," she cringed, hoping the boyfriend would take the hint and leave, but kind of wanting to see Fin kick his arse. "Is there something between those two that I've missed?" she asked Dora, nodding to Fin and Jovi as he pulled the younger girl into a rather close hug. "This is better than going to the theater," she grinned, having attended many of her sister's performances and not often been as riveted as she was right now. "Five minutes in and high drama. Fabulous." It wasn't exactly high drama, but it was entertaining enough, considering the night had only just begun. _______________________ tag: Euphadora Rose Parkinson and everyone! notes: <3 outfit: Silver stunner! template by izzy [googlefont="Ruthie"]

❝Be my girl, I'll be your man I see my future in your eyes❞
“Yes. That’s exactly what I’m telling.” A very unsophisticated snort left him; causing a few of the patrons near them to look in his general direction. Not that really cared much. He was pointedly ignoring her even at her offended gasp. “Drinks could have been provided at home.” Merlin knew his parents had enough of it. And if they didn’t, well, he had enough money to buy all the drinks they could have possibly needed. “And drinking certainly won’t convince you it’s a good idea.”
Finishing his champagne in one quick drink and placing it on a passing tray, he reached out a hand to her, giving her a slight bow. “May I ask the lovely lady for a dance?” If they were going to be here and have fun, they for the love of Merlin, they were going to dance! Not that dancing was fun in his books. But it was a party. And you danced at parties. These were a far cry from the parties the Marauders had thrown in the Common Room. But a party was a party. If he wanted, he could always try and make this more fun and upbeat later.

W ell, Mr Potter, I think you are pushing your luck." Lily murmured with a perfectly straight face, raising her glass to her lips and taking a sip, blinking a little as a bubble or two went in the wrong direction. She was not used to champagne; it was a luxury which she had had neither the time nor the money to indulge in for the vast majority of her life, and although she now suspected that James would buy her anything that she cared to express a desire for, she didn't do things that way. She was going to succeed on her own merits or not at all, and she was most definitely not going to appeal to her fiance for gifts. That might be acceptable in magical society, but not in Cokeworth, and Lily would carry Cokeworth with her until she died. "You've got a nerve, after a comment like that." the redhead responded, laughing as she deposited her glass on a passing waiter's tray and gave her fiance her hand. "But come on, then. Let's show this lot how to dance."

Starlight New Year Kit would bet anything that Dora had been behind him and Ollie being invited to this New Year party. It was hosted by her friend, and she was a weirdly sociable person who liked to be surrounded by hordes of people who she could engage with all night. That was Kit's idea of a nightmare. He much preferred being with a small group of people he knew well and was comfortable with, rather than lost in a crowd of strangers who might want to talk to him, or try and get him to dance, or Merlin forbid flirt with him. There was uncomfortable, and then there were parties. This was a whole new level of no, and Kit had thrown the invitation away immediately, not even giving a second thought to actually going to this thing. He had been horrified to discover Ollie with the invitation in his hand not long after, and his baby brother was so bloody convincing and hard to say no to that he'd ended up being coerced into going anyway, though he'd been grumpy about it to the extreme, and locked himself away in the sanctuary of his room to try and deal with his feelings over the matter. A knock on his door came, and Kit didn't flinch at his brother's sing-song voice coming from the other side. He'd been expecting it for a while, and he flicked his wand to open the lock, letting Ollie in to tear through his wardrobe for something to wear. Kit had carefully placed his book down on his bedside table, unable to bear letting his little brother struggle to look good for the night while Kit sat by and watched. He was annoyed, but he wasn't cruel, and he couldn't not give Ollie a hand. Eventually, he had kitted Ollie out in pants and a blazer, and a few other bits, nodding with half a smile at how handsome his brother looked for the night. Ollie was the image of their father, all dark eyes and long hair and beautiful face, it didn't take much to make him look great. With a heavy sigh, Kit changed, too, and settled on dark jeans, a red shirt, and a dark blazer for the night, figuring he wouldn't stay long anyway. He'd told Ollie he would go with him so he wouldn't have to be alone, but if Oliver found a friend there tonight, Kit would be leaving as soon as he could politely get away, and there would be no stopping him. His book was clearly giving him longing looks from the bedroom, and he glanced back at it as he left his room, following Ollie out of the house, were they both apparated to Whimsic Alley. It didn't take long for them to get inside the club, and Kit found himself uncomfortable already, the music not to his tastes at all, the half naked women he had to squeeze past making him pin his arms to his sides as they made their way into the thick of things, heading for one of the tall tables at the edge of the room. How did people enjoy this kind of thing enough to do it every weekend? Kit couldn't understand the appeal at all, but he would put up with it for a bit to please his brother, it was the least he could do, and he took the flute of champagne from Ollie, giving a polite nod of thanks to the waitress who had paused beside them with the drinks. He felt bad as soon as Ollie spoke about them having a blast into the new year. He couldn't be a miser and ruin the night for his brother. Pressing his lips together in resignation, Kit clinked his glass against Ollie's. "I wouldn't want to be anywhere else, even if I do feel like my head is going to explode from the noise in here," he laughed with a shake of his head, bringing the champagne up to his lips and sniffing it before he took the smallest sip he could manage, pulling a face immediately at how terrible it tasted. Thumping music, glass full of pee. Just brilliant. _______________________ tag: @oli and everyone! notes: Outfit <3 template by izzy [googlefont="Rock Salt"]

She was a little bit ruined a beautiful disaster but she was magic Liv made a catty remark about Jovi’s new fella, the exact same remark Dora was thinking in her head as she watched the young idiot carry liquid over his head at the perfect height to get them knocked by a wayward dancer. “Are they supposed to?” she mused, a little smirk gracing her features. Dora noticed Liv begin to fuss with her dress and thought nothing of it. She was not as well endowed as Livia was, in that regard, but she too knew the annoyance of having a chest that refused to remain where they had been placed. More often it was Dora’s bum that tried slipping out from a short skirt more than her breasts, but the issue was fixed the same way regardless of which end of the dress was causing the problem; a charm. Dora knew all sorts of charms to help her present her best side at all times and she was happy to share the only sort of knowledge she really had, but the commotion on the dance floor below took center stage and Dora gave her full attention.
Nameless bloke threw his drink down on the ground after some tiff with Jovi, probably about her dancing with another guy because her boyfriend was obviously too insecure to be dating an attractive witch. Fin, ever the hero, stepped in and spelled the liquid back up into the bloke’s face before bringing Jovian into a rather close hug. “Fin and Jovi?” Dora laughed at the idea that her little cousin and her best mate had anything mutual between them. “You know how Fin likes to play the knight in shining armour. If the shoe fits…” Dora turned her head slightly and looked up at her blonde friend. “I think Jovi might fancy him a bit, but if anyone in the family has claim over my Finley, you know it’s me.” Dora gave an overly dramatic smile and wink at the idea that she wanted Fin in any way that was romantic. They flirted from time to time, Dora flirted with damn near everyone so really it was to be expected, and there had been a few snogging and groping sessions in their past, but Fin was more of a really, really attractive girlfriend that Dora sometimes had sex dreams about than a guy she actually wanted to date. Unless she was drunk, which she wasn’t this early in the evening, the idea of being with Fin made her giggle.
“Don’t let your sister hear you saying that. She’ll get all offended and then we’ll have a repeat showing of all that,” Dora nodded her head in the direction of the dance floor below, “up close and personal right here, and I don’t think I’m tall enough to play Fin’s part as well as him.” Lyra, Livia’s sister, was an actress and a bit dramatic at times. Dora hadn’t spent much one on one time with Lyra since they were in school together but she doubted that overhearing Liv say the display downstairs was better than going to the theatre would have gone over well with the middle Burke girl. “Are your sisters planning on coming tonight? What about that brother of yours?” Dora raised her eyebrows suggestively as she mentioned Lucian Burke, the oldest of the Burke siblings and the only one Dora wanted to have a tumble with.
As they spoke, Dora began walking toward the spiral staircase, giving a gentle tug on Livia’s wrist to ensure the girl followed her. Seeing all the bodies moving on the dance floor made Dora want to move as well, and spying the handsome face of her shy Auror friend coming into the club with his brother made her want to move in one particular direction.

Starlight New Year Fin's lips curved into a smile as Jovi hammed it up a bit upon being given an opening to complain about the night so far. "Drama Queen," he teased. "All eyes are on you, princess, take your pick." Of course she'd be dramatic about it, her boyfriend was being a complete tit, and there was nobody rich, handsome, pureblood and stupid enough to want to hang out with a young girl for the night and keep her happy, so she would be petulant until the next cute drunk showed up at her side to gyrate all over her. He was sure she'd have more than her fair share of dance partners for the night, and probably more offers of drinks than that, but she could handle herself. Jovi was related to Dora and Rodolphus, if that didn't indicate arse kicking genes then Fin didn't know what did. She was a princess, and princesses often had swords of ice hidden in their corsets to chop people down with, in Fin's experience, so she'd be fine without her troll by her side, if he did decide to leave, and Fin really hoped he would, he didn't need stupidity like that ruining his party. "Dance with me," he tilted his head, taking her drink from her and floating it over to the bar, where it settled on a shelf at the back where only staff were allowed, safe from creeps and weirdos who might want to slip something into it. Slipping his wand into the inside pocket of his suit, he took Jovi's hand and gave her a spin, letting the music seep into his own body as he began to move to the rhythm. Fin could dance. He usually waited until he'd had a drink or two, but he didn't have to, he had rhythm, and he could sing with it, but he preferred the fun of a buzz to accompany it. It wasn't necessary, though, and there was a devilish smile on his face as he allowed himself to enjoy pleasing the princess in front of him. Legs moving, body thumping in time to the drums, Fin half wished he could takeoff his suit jacket so he could be more comfortable, but he needed to look the part of the host for as much of the night as possible, not strip off and get hot and sweaty within the first hour, though the jacket was quite restricting, so he undid the buttons as he danced, enjoying the extra bit of freedom. _______________________ tag: Jovian Isobel Corrine Rowle and everyone! notes: <3 outfit: Handsome as Hell template by izzy[googlefont="Allura"]

❝Be my girl, I'll be your man I see my future in your eyes❞
“Ms. Evans, I have been pushing my luck since the day I was born.” Or at the very least, since his second year of Hogwarts when he’d decided it was a brilliant idea to become an illegal Animagi and risk Azkaban. Running around with a werewolf may have counted as pushing his luck as well, but he had only seen it as being there for his friend.
The key to it all was confidence. If you believed you could do it, than you could. Some might have saw it as cockiness and arrogance, and while James wouldn’t deny they went hand in hand, it was all really a matter of perspective. And James had a ton of confidence in himself; which showed in the way he carried himself and spoke.
Taking her hand, he placed a light kiss to the back of her hand, giving her a small bow. “I’m afraid this lot might be unteachable.” But that wouldn’t stop him from enjoying the night with Lily. It was easy to move in and out of the bodies moving on the floor; years of navigating Hogwarts - or rather, running from Professors - had made it as simple as breathing. A quick glance around told him a few familiar faces that were here. He saw the Devereaux brothers. Finley Avery, they’re ‘gracious’ host. And then there was that girl from the book store…. Damn, what the hell was her name again?
Oh well, it didn’t matter. Instead, he turned his attention back to Lily. “So what new years resolutions have you decided to make?” Not that he knew a single person who actually kept one, but I was always fun to talk about.

Jovi pursed her lips a little, pouting them slightly knowing that indeed everyones eyes were on her because how could they not be? She was practically royalty being related to the Lestranges. Admittedly her family wasn't as rich as theirs, nor as rich as the Burkes from what she understood of finances but they were pretty far up there. She wasn't just a Princess because of that though, she was a Princess because she was demanding and expected the highest of quality at all times and that included boyfriends, dance partners, friends. Fin being an Avery was rather fitting for a dance partner this evening and she'd not mind a dance with him just so long as he didn't expect anything in return. She was fine with a bit of dancing, some flirting here and there and especially making her boyfriend, who was eyeing the two of them carefully, exceedingly jealous. She'd see how she felt in the morning about him. He was rather oafish but he was handsome, rich and from a pureblood family. He was on the Slytherin Quidditch team but oh Morgana his temper could be foul. They wouldn't work out, she knew they wouldn't but he had other large assets beside his bank account.
Fin took her drink and then her hand and Jovi followed his lead, spinning beneath his arm. There was no crowd watching her any longer but Jovi didn't care, her mind continued to tell her that people were still watching her, looking at her in awe. The men wanted to dance with her and the women were jealous of the man she was with. She loved being desired but more than that she loved being envied so for those that were watching Jovi put on a show. She didn't need anything to encourage her to dance, she wasn't after any sort of liquid courage, she was aware of how good she was and how incredible she looked as her hips took the rhythm of the music as their own. Her upper body melded with the music, the atmosphere, her own entitlement of self worth and of course her dance partner for the song. She wasn't going to shy away from Fin, even if she had no intentions for him beyond a dance partner, he still deserved her all and her attention. Jovi was not afraid to look her best as her dress caught the lights above. She was a star shining bright in the sea of drab and ugly, her love of the music and dance was evident to all as she throughly enjoyed her time, dancing with the hottest guy in the place.

N ow that, I can believe." Lily commented with a gentle smile, and she leaned to one side to drop a gentle kiss on her fiance's cheek. "You, my dear, are one of nature's pushers. And one of these days, you are going to push the wrong person." But that person was not her. Not any more, at any rate. There had been a time, certainly, when she had been just about as annoyed by James Potter and his stupid little games as it was humanly possible to be, but that had been a long time ago. They'd both changed since then and, although she would once have laughed at the idea, James had matured. Slightly. But he had an impish charm to him, and one which Lily Evans had no power to resist. Which would have been fine, had he not been such an irritating prat while they were growing up. She smiled and blushed instinctively as he kissed her hand. She was still not used to the manners and the etiquette of wizarding society; it seemed, like so much else, to be stuck at some point in the eighteenth century. Not that she minded it, exactly; it had a certain charm; but it was something of a culture shock. "Not unteachable." she corrected softly, placing a hand on her fiance's arm. "Just unwilling to learn." Because the redhead could think of very few purebloods who would be willing to take a Muggleborn's advice on anything, and certainly not on dancing, which was after all a society activity, at least by tradition. "But there's no harm in trying."
She laughed, jerking her head to flick her hair out of her face . "I don't need to make any resolutions; I'm perfect already." she teased. Maybe there was something about James' charming cocksurity that was rubbing off on her... James Henry Potter

Starlight New Year Echo huffed as she tried her best to keep still while her sister Aeon charmed her ridiculously high heels with a balance charm so she wouldn't go over on her ankle tonight. She liked being girly sometimes, as a tomboy for the most part, she did get a thrill out of pretty dresses and sparkles, but then when it came to nights like tonight she remembered why she stuck to jeans and comfortable shoes most of the time. It was a chore letting her sisters dress her, and she felt weird in the tight dress Nova had given her, insisting she'd look stunning in it and not caring when Echo commented on the possibility of her not being able to breathe in it. She'd had her makeup done, her hair done, and eventually Aeon had fought her corner and helped her convince Nova that she could wear her own jewelry for the night. To help her feel a bit more like herself she had chosen her snitch earrings and ring, which her dad had gotten her when she was twelve. Nova could't argue with that. Ha! Being legally able to drink was another perk of the evening, since she didn't have to worry about being turned away at the door, she had her identification with her and was pretty sure Nova would sass the hell out of anyone who dared question her baby sister anyway. She was sorted. The sisters linked arms after allowing their mum to take a multitude of probably awful pictures of them all "looking so grown up and just beautiful", and then Aeon had led the apparition to Whimsic Alley, where Echo had still clung on to their arms despite the balance charm on her shoes which would make it practically impossible for her to have a fall. She was sure she'd adapt as the night went on. It was freezing, and queueing outside the Starlight Speakeasy was torturous, but it went by fast enough, and the girls headed inside, music blaring, crowds already on the dance floor, and drinks being cleaned off the floor as the three blondes made their way towards the bar. Aeon ordered them all cocktails - Echo had no idea what was in them but they looked fancy when they came - and didn't hesitate in leading her two younger siblings to a tall table near the edge of the room. Echo decided to test her heels by giving her hips a wiggle to the music as she stood at the table, her sisters chatting away to each other. Wiggle wiggle. No wobbling. Excellent. Wiggle wiggle._______________________ tag: Everyone! notes: Outfit. <3 template by izzy[googlefont="Over the Rainbow"]

❝Be my girl, I'll be your man I see my future in your eyes❞
A grin appeared on his features, a twinkle dancing in his eye as she kissed his cheek. “Funny enough, Remus has been saying that for years. Though he was sure I’d push you to the point where you finally hexed my head off.” Of course, he’d just come out and tell him ‘she’s going to kill you one day’. Remus had never been shy about sharing what he’d felt or thought around the marauders. “I like to think that Lady Luck is on my side. And if not, I can always try and brew her up. It can’t be nearly as hard as the Professor’s made it out to be.” And when it came to brewing potions, James had patients. How else would he have brewed that ridiculous potion for he and his friends. It had been him and Sirius. They hadn’t really trusted Peter around it.
Too many things could have gone wrong.
He loved the blush that fluttered across her features. Contrary to what many might have believed, he didn’t purposefully set out to do so. It was all just mannerisms he’d picked up from his parents; from all the parties he’d been forced to attend when he’d been a small child. Sometimes, he forgot that they had different backgrounds growing up. Sure, they’d spent the last seven years occupying the same castle. But you had teenagers running wild there. Hogwarts truly was a world all on it’s own; separate from both the wizarding society and the muggle world. He could only imagine the shocks she received, constantly having to jump between the two.
“No, there is no harm in trying.” The only harm you had coming to you was how much your liver was going to hate you because you drank too much out of frustration. Hopefully it never came to that. He’d make sure it didn’t.
A laugh escaped him at her response. The Lily Evans from their school years would have had a few resolutions to make. “My, my. Aren’t we full of ourselves. Really, we must find this bad influence and take care of it. We don’t need your ego and head to inflate too much. I’m told it’s bad for you. Can’t say if that’s true or not. I’ve apparently been suffering from it for a few years now.”

Starlight New Year Liv raised her eyebrows at Dora saying how if anyone in her family had claim over Fin, it was her. She was right, of course, but it was amusing to hear her say it. The pair were close, and honestly, Liv didn't have a clue why Fin and Dora hadn't tried to spark some kind of romance in their relationship before. She knew they'd kissed a few times, she'd even been there once in the Slytherin common room during a game of truth or dare. That was the perk of growing up with your cousin and being the same age as them, you got to see all parts of their life and comment on it, too. She had commented plenty of times on Fin and Dora, but she knew it was falling on deaf ears, they just simply weren't into each other like that, and that was fine. It was nice to hear Dora airing her little possessive streak, though, very cute. "I don't know," she said in a teasing tone, "they look quite cozy down there."It was all a show, she knew that, her cousin wouldn't go there with someone who was still at school, but her green eyes were riveted as she watched Fin begin to dance with Jovi, blatantly flirting and trying to make her boyfriend jealous. It really was great entertainment. "Oh, she knows I love her shows," Liv gave a shake of her head and a shrug at Dora's teasing about Lyra being angry if she could hear her now. "She also knows I have the worst attention span, that's why I like to photograph her performances instead of just sitting in the audience. Gives me something to to do during the boring bits." At least she was honest about it, Liv got bored easily, but as long as she had her camera, she was fine, it was almost like a comfort thing for her these days, and she felt naked without it. Her hand gripped her bag a little bit tighter, as though she could feel the device through the material, even though she couldn't, as she followed Dora down the stairs carefully. "No, they're all elsewhere tonight," she answered Dora's query about her siblings, trying not to shout but still needing to be heard over the music as the two girls traveled down the stairs to the dance floor. "Someone from the family needed to come and give Fin some support, so I dodged the stuffy events and got the golden ticket to come here instead," she grinned, genuinely believing herself to have had a lucky escape to avoid having to to go to any boring pureblood parties. This was infinitely more fun already. Liv's eyes landed on tall, hot, and grumpy from the ministry as he entered the club, and she nudged Dora. "Isn't that your really cute, moody friend over there?" she asked, nodding across the crowded club to the Auror, who looked like he'd just been kicked in the nuts and had his puppy stolen all at once. _______________________ tag: Euphadora Rose Parkinson and everyone! notes: <3 outfit: Silver stunner! template by izzy[googlefont="Ruthie"]
