HISTORY Mother: Eliza Bloom, half-blood Father: Ethan Bloom, half-blood Siblings: E___ ____ Bloom, 19, Slytherin alum, half-blood E___ ____ Bloom, 18, Hufflepuff alum, half-blood E ___ ____ Bloom, 7th year, Ravenclaw student, half-blood Partners: Nobody in particular Others: Can't think of anyone worth mentioning. Boggart: Breaking her leg again. Worst pain of her life. She tried out for the quidditch team in her second year and fell of her broom. She was lucky to only break her leg. She tried out again in her 4th year and became Chaser! Mirror of Erised: It sounds strange, but she really, really, really wants to be a legilimens! She would see herself reading minds, ooooOoooOOooooo!! Patronus: Getting her prefect badge! It was completely unexpected. Emerald had never really thought of herself as Prefect material but her siblings all felt it was kind of obvious that she'd be prefect. Emerald was the fourth and last child of Eliza and Ethan Bloom. She was never treated any different to her siblings and was always expected to pull her weight around the home. She used to make her bed and set the table as her first chores, she moved up to bigger responsibilities, just like her siblings. Though when you’re part of a magical family, it’s not as if chores are hard, but it did teach Emerald her fair share of responsibility and she came to expect the same of everyone around her. Always being a fair kid that always did what was right, there was an ongoing assumption that Emerald was going to be sorted into Hufflepuff. She was a hard worker and a fair kid, and yet when the sorting hat was placed on her head, it did a quick rummage of her mind and within ten seconds she was declared a Gryffindor! Emerald was surprised, and so were her older siblings, but when they were sorted she spotted them in the crowd clapping along with her new house. Four children in the Bloom family and each of them was in a different house. Emerald fit in so well in Gryffindor, her energy added to the collective and, at her core, she was an ethical little fairy. She helped a time or two or twenty, to keep the common room in order, or another way of looking at it was she interjected herself into random arguments and threw about her two knots worth. Still, she’s a fighter for what’s right, she believes in doing her best to keep life fair and even, despite the corrupt individuals out there she believes that people all have a centre of goodness that sometimes just needs a little nurturing.
