Born to lead, Dash was groomed from the beginning to take over the pack whether he wanted to or not. He was the eldest son and so the responsibility would ultimately be left to him. Luckily he was the perfect kid for the job. Positive and playful but protective and resilient. With deep compassion for everyone in his life Dash always wanted what was best for his brothers and sister, his parents, and friends. A happy lad growing up with plenty of space to roam, Dash loved to play with his brothers and when his sister came along, Dash was incredibly protective of her. He was 8 years old and would have done anything to protect her or his brothers from anything but his sister, just a baby, warranted extra protection and he used to get up in the night to help his mum look after her or he would cuddle her in the day so she would know she would always have her big brother looking out for her. She was the last child for Gin and Rik, and the youngest by four years withJace being closest to her in age but as she grew she was able to hold her own against her brothers, or at least they let her think so. At 11 Dash was off to Hogwarts. He was sorted into Gryffindor and joined the Quidditch team in his fourth year after being begged to try out. Even back then he was a burley lad with muscles built for use, not just showing off. Eventually he was made captain in his seventh year. He did best in Charms and Care of Magical Creatures, he had a natural talent for Herbology and Potions, and Transfiguration was a bit of a breeze, too. All in all he was well rounded when it came to education and he had a steady head on his shoulders. At the age of 13 Dash really started to notice girls. He would have a girlfriend here or there but nothing ever serious. His first serious relationship came in his 5th year when he dated a girl for two months but he always found it hard to stay committed. Something inside of him wasn't satisfied with his girlfriends and eventually he would always break up with them, choosing instead to form attachments to those with similar interests as him and having friends with benefits. When he graduated he was 18 and his father gave him the bite. It was a right of passage and Dash was ready for it. He had been building up to it for some time, a mixture of nerves and excitement. It was his right, it was his destiny. No one ever said the full moons would be easy, and Dash has never had a pleasant one. He doesn't take the Wolfsbane potion to ease his his transitions or make his nights easier, although sometimes, after a particularly rough full moon, he sometimes contemplates it. After Hogwarts Dash stayed close to home and started tending crops and animals. He lived with his parents and siblings while he built a new barn for the animals they had, once that was done he converted the old barn into a home for himself, although it's never really received much love, but he's proud of what he built with his own two hands. To get by in life Dash has always tried to stand on his own two paws. He worked hard growing crops and selling his harvests to the local villages. He makes metal works with scrap metal he finds, something that started as a hobby and slowly became art, he supposes, people do buy them so he considers himself somewhat of an artist. He protects the land his pack lives on and tries to keep the surrounding areas out of the hands of developers. He works as a handy man in the local villages, helping out those in need, keeping in good graces with the locals. He takes payment in the form of a meal or scrap metal, anything the locals can afford. Dash has been happy with his lot in life so far, working with the land, with his hands, doing what he likes when he likes, although his parents death has overshadowed the recent months and Dash has not only had to mourn his parents but he's had to step up as Alpha and protect his pack. He's been approached by Albus Dumbledore but while Dash cannot join the order because of his own loyalties to his pack, he will work with Dumbledore when and if needed.
