Portia McKinnon was the second child of five, born to Marlene and Frederick. Her older brother was three when she was born and around the time she was 2, Portia became a big sister. From there she had another sister and finally a younger brother. Life was noisy in a household of seven people, but fun too, and always full of love ... and the occasional squabble. When Portia was 11 she went off to Hogwarts and was sorted into Ravenclaw, the house of her mother, who Portia had always been close to. In Ravenclaw she was able to delve into her creative side more freely. She would spend her free time either painting or doing make up or playing with hers or her dormmates hair. She was quite creative, doing particularly well in charms and potions. She found she could exercise her creativity more with those subjects and add many a flourish, something that didn't always play out well, but no one was ever injured too much, everyone always made a full recovery! Portia graduated Hogwarts having created a couple of her own charms and potions. Something she's particularly proud of is a special spray that she's created that keeps make-up in place. Rain, wind, earth and fire couldn't remove your make up without her make up remover. You might die in a horrible accident but at least you don't have to worry about your make up smudging. Job wise her search wasn't a long one, thanks to connections and her talent, she got a job immediately becoming the make-up artist for The Hook!
