Holly was born to a single mother. No knowing who the father was Holly's very existence was a lie; a lie to her extended family and a lie to herself. She never knew what she was missing out on by not having a father, after all she had her mother, what more could she need? She was loved and she adored her mother and, eventually, Autumn. Her little sister was a whole new adventure to Holly who was a fast and wild child. She lived to roam the earth with her feet in the dirt. She was never afraid of a bug of creature that came her way. She was a fearless little toddler that took to danger like a duck to water. Swimming and running, hopping and skipping were second nature to her. She was a speedy child that slowed down for no one.

The travelling life was something that nourished her soul. Different scenery night after night, different playgrounds day after day only fed her wanderlust. Travel was deeply engrained into her soul and then something came along that she didn't even realise she was missing. Jimmy O'Hara. He was a wonderful man. A friend of her mothers that became more. He was a Prince in. the eyes of Holly. He offered comfort and security, something she'd never realised that they'd not had before. Travelling with mum was always amazing, but when they moved in with Jimmy, she had her own room, her own room!

Holly didn't get to have as much time playing family as Autumn because Hogwarts was calling. Holly went away to the famous wizard school where she had been a bit of a hat stall between Gryffindor and Hufflepuff but the house of the Badger was deemed a better fit, and Holly had a blast! She was a hands on student and she either got through her work quickly, which wasn't always accurate or she'd bounce around the classroom, chatting and playing about, usually getting in a spot of trouble with the Professors, but it was all pretty harmless, she rarely got detention because she was just a friendly girl, she wasn't a teacher's pet, but she could certainly give them a grin which always meant she wasn't in trouble.

In Holly's second year she tried out for every quidditch position but didn't land a spot on the quidditch team. In her third year she tried again and managed to get the position of keeper. It wasn't her preferred position but she was ecstatic to be on the team and she was pretty good. She watched the plays unfold on the field and she could usually figure out which goal the opposition was going for. She stayed as goalie all through Hogwarts and loved it, becoming Captain in her seventh year.

Hogwarts wasn't all fun an excitement, however. While she was away at school Holly had to be informed about her mother's passing. She had been hit by the Knight Bus and killed instantly. There was a massive payout, leaving Jimmy, Holly and Autumn all wealthy in their own rights, but there was nothing that could bring back her mother. Holly was lost for a long while as she grieved the passing of her mother, she was broken up about it but once a month she would go to the grounds at sunset and swim in the lake, no matter what the weather, to remind her of the time her mum taught her to swim. Some of Holly's most joyous memories of her mother were when they would stop by a lake and just swim, no matter what the weather. Swimming was always Holly's favourite thing to do, she was such a water baby, and her mum only ever taught her to embrace her loves.

After Hogwarts Holly tried out professionally for any Quidditch team she could and she got a spot as reserve on the Falmouth Falcons team. Holly was overjoyed! It wasn't a spot, but it was a spot if, for some dreadful reason, the current Keeper couldn't fulfil their obligations. Perhaps it was her mother looking down on her, or perhaps it was sheer chance, but the keeper was involved in a series of incidences that came to light and meant that they had to be let go. Holly was up, she was the new Keeper for the Falmouth Falcons and she cannot wait for her first match to come about.
