Patronus: Lion - The day he married Sally is the happiest day of his life. She has given him a beautiful family and he adores her more than anything. She is his happy place. The eldest child of Florean and Alina Fortescue, Ferdinand, or Ferdi as he was lovingly known, was a blazing light of a child. Bright, fierce, loving, and incredibly passionate, he brought a lot of joy into his parents lives. He never did anything by halves, and when he was two years old and got a younger brother, Ricardo, he struggled with sharing the limelight a little bit. And then again when his baby sister Liliana was born. He basically was a brat for a few years until he realised that he could share his parents with his siblings and still get plenty of attention himself. He loved his siblings fiercely though, despite the jealousy, and as he got older that turned into protectiveness, and Ferdi was a great big brother. He went to Hogwarts not long after his tenth birthday, one of the youngest in his year, and was sorted into Gryffindor, where he flourished with other bold and fierce kids who soon realised that competing with him was futile. He was the King of his dorm and everyone naturally fell into place behind him. He played Quidditch for a few years, but really excelled in duelling club, becoming the Captain in his sixth year. He was popular and well-loved by his peers, eventually graduating with impressive grades, and joining the Ministry to train as an Auror. His ambition and bravery got him far in life. But his proudest moment was meeting the most incredible woman, Sally. She was cute as a button and sassy with it, and Ferdi fell hard. They married quite quickly, and went on to have four incredible kids, who Ferdi would die for. He recently quit his job in the Ministry to take over the family business for his father, who wanted to retire and just help out on the shop floor instead of running the show. Ferdi knew that it would happen eventually, and so he was prepared a few years ago when his father approached him. So now he runs the ice cream parlour, where one of his sons works, two of his kids are all grown up, the other two are still in school, and his wife still rocks his world whenever he gives her that smouldering look of his. He may not be an Auror any more, but he can kick the arse of anyone who messes with his family or his business. Never underestimate the ice cream guy. He can kill you with a cone.
