The Whitmore Arcanium
Located at the far end of Diagon Alley, shielded from Muggle eyes, sits a magnificent and ancient building owned by half-vampire Elijah James Whitmore and his family. The largest magical library in the United Kingdom, the Arcanium boasts an impressive collection of tomes, ranging from children's fiction, all the way to the darkest of magical scrolls. To access the more powerful books in the Arcanium, you will have to go to the second floor, with its twisting spires and old stone balconies, where you will be asked to surrender your wand if you wish to peruse the tomes housed there. For the safety of everyone, of course. I'm sure you'll understand. If not, then you are free to stroll the vast maze of bookshelves and ancient rooms downstairs. Perhaps check out something a bit... lighter.
