HISTORY Mother: Angelique Farah Vance Father: Henry Fredric Vance Siblings: Cora Calliope Vance , sister, sexy wolfie chick! Charlotte Persephone Vance , sister, sassy badass chick! Partners: Nahhhh Others: Lily Joanne Potter , bestest friend in the universe! Harry Potter, most amazing baby ever to exist! James Henry Potter , Lily's lame hubby. Kidding. Or am I? Muahaha! Boggart: Cora being stuck as a werewolf permanently, never to be human again. Mirror of Erised: Voldemort with his head chopped off, herself smiling as it rolls across the floor. Honestly, what more could anyone possibly want in current times other than to see the end of that enormous prick? Patronus: Cougar - Emmy's patronus takes the form of a powerful, prowling cougar. She uses the memory of finding out that her sister was alive and okay. She doesn't care that Cora is a werewolf, just knowing that she hadn't died and would be fine was the most relieved Emmy has ever felt in her entire life. Emmeline Vance, middle child of a pureblood family. She had an older sister who doted on her, a younger sister who was so close in age that they grew up at the same time and were super close, and shit-faced parents who should have been ashamed of themselves. Well, they weren't shit-faced when Emmy was a kid, they were actually good parents when she was little. She remembers being loved, being cared for, and having her tenacious spirit encouraged. She was always very "spirited" as a child, for lack of a better word. You could also have called her ambitious, stubborn as hell, fiercely protective, and possessing a shocking sense of right and wrong. She always did the right thing, always, always, even if it was the hardest option. Smart as a whip and an incredibly fast learner, she expected to be sorted into Ravenclaw like Cora, but the hat had other ideas. It placed her in Gryffindor and Emmy had to admit as her schooling got underway, that the hat was right. She was a determined little thing - and I mean, tinyyy - studious, confident, and wanting to be the best at the things she was good at. The things she was good at were pretty much anything she tried her hand at. She was a brilliant flier, being Seeker on the Gryffindor Quidditch team from fourth year until she graduated. She was captain of the duelling club, and took great pleasure in demonstrating the correct and perfect ways to kick the shit out of people. She was known for being a highly talented witch, but it did her absolutely no good when she needed her talents the most... Cora was attacked by a werewolf while Emmy and Lottie were still at school, and after having it confirmed that she was cursed, herself, Cora was abandoned by their parents, which enraged Emmy like nothing else ever had in her life. She was incredibly relieved that her sister was alive and not mauled to death, but the shock of having her parents just disown Cora a few months later was horrendous. And there was absolutely nothing she could do about it except join up with Lottie in ranting and raving on school holidays. It was the worst few years of her life, family-wise, and Emmy promised Cora that she would always be there, a promise she kept when she graduated and moved in with Cora, disowning her parents to give them a taste of their own medicine. She trained to become a Hit Witch so that she could fight the good fight, and her skills were put to good use by Professor Dumbledore, who invited her to join the Order of the Phoenix pretty much as soon as she graduated.
