 Tough guy, like it really rough guy just can't get enough guy A stupidly long amount of time later, Meadowes nearly dead in his lap, Moody appeared with two healers by his side. Luka rolled his eyes. "You're about an hour too late," he drawled, watching as the healers inspected Meadowes, one of them moving to the fallen medic. "Has she been conscious at any point?" the healer asked Luka quietly as he attempted to lift Meadowes enough to see if the pole was sticking out the back of her. The pole scraped sickeningly along the floor with the movement and Luka gritted his teeth. "No, I've been talking to her the entire time, but she's not responding," Luka said, playing the caring companion. Her head still rested on Luka's legs and he placed a hand on her clammy forehead. It felt like he was caressing a squid. "Will she be alright?"  Let the eye of vigilance never be closed
The healers were purposefully mum on Dorcas’ status and instead of answering Luka’s question they began speaking to each other, making rapid plans to move Dorcas to hospital. It all happened in a matter of seconds; one moment Moody was standing in a pool of blood watching the healers tend to Agent Meadowes who’s head was laying limply in Dolohov’s lap, and the next the Auror, the Unspeakable, and the Reception Witch were the only people left in the atrium. Dorcas’ blood squishing underfoot.

Tough guy, like it really rough guy just can't get enough guy The healers didn't answer him, only muttered something that sounded like code for "she's gonna die, let's hurry the fuck up", and then apparated Meadowes out of there, leaving Luka on his knees in a pool of blood. "Well, that was embarrassingly dramatic," he said to no one in particular. He stood up, pants dripping with blood, and scowled down at the mess Meadowes had so selfishly left behind. "I'll make sure there's a crown on her desk next to my dry cleaning bill when she gets back to work," he said, because he was sure the cockroach would find a way to survive death. "Floor's a bit wet there, don't slip," he said to Moody with a smarmy smile as he carefully picked his way across the atrium, dripping blood in a trail along the shiny floors.
