HISTORY Mother: Sarah-Lou Muck née Quilliams Father: Dillon Muck, pureblood Siblings: None Partners: None Others: The Lightowler and the Quilliamses Boggart: Losing all her money, having strangers come and take it all away Mirror of Erised: Fame and Fortune, pretty much what she has right now, only a little more of it. Patronus: No patronus. Getting her first ever magazine cover! Growing up, Tia wasn't all that close to her parents, possibly because they had named her Shontia Maria Muck, Shonie as a nickname. They were suppportive enough when it came for Shonie to do things, but generally, in day to day life, it was more like they were casual acquaintances. It suited Shonie just fine. She never thought of herself as anything special and she just went through life as her parents told her to. She had no real thoughts on how to live her life, she found little engaging in the world and she didn't really have a passion for anything. Really she was just an exceptionally boring little human that knew how to read and right, but never knew much of anything else. When Shonie went away to Hogwarts she was sorted in Slytherin. She didn't really have a preference of where she got sorted. She didn't make friends quickly. Rumours spread that she was a loser and loner. It wasn't through choice but she also wasn't very good at inviting people into her world. Even her dorm mates took a while to get to know her, but once they did they were all on good terms. Shonie was an average student. She wasn't noticed a lot in school, even by Professors when she forgot to hand in homework or simply didn't do it, it wasn't really noticed, and somehow she still managed to get an average grade for the work she never handed in. She was overlooked. Being overlooked in school was kind of a blessing. While it hurt that there were boys she fancied that didn't know she existed, she was able to live a quiet school life. She didn't have any bullies and she was able to hang out with her friends when they were free. By the time she came back for her fifth year, however, boys noticed her a heck of a lot more, people engaged with her more positively, Puberty had hit late, for Shonie, but it had turned her from easily overlooked to the most noticeable girl in school. Upon her return she had grown a few more inches, her busts had filled out and her face had a softer, more feminine look. Her hips were more pronounced and she had more of a waist. She was a young woman and people noticed, they paid attention. Shonie wasn't sure how to handle the attention at school. People asked her out on dates and girls bitched about her when they thought she wouldn't hear or find out. She stayed close with Evie Nott, finding herself confiding most of her worries to her. Even the professors took note of her now and she got her first detention for not handing in homework, after not having handed in plenty of pieces, she was finally noticeable. A lot of positive attention came with a lot of negative, too. Shonie was deeply hurt by the negative comments but Evie helped thicken her skin. When girls hurled food or chewed up parchment at her, Evie flung back a few good hexes. Evie, who had always called her 'Duckie', helped her come up with a new persona, Tia Flawless. It was just a silly little name between them but it helped give Shonie confidence when she needed it. Gradually Evie started calling Shonie 'Tia' whenever it seemed Shonie needed a little confidence and eventually, by the end of her fifth year, Tia just stuck. The rest of school was much the same apart from Tia had more confidence in herself then she ever had as Shonie. She was a little timid when it came to dating, but she gave it a go. She learnt quickly that the guys she used to have a crush on, that had overlooked her, were arrogant jerks and she got over her crushes fairly quickly. During the Summer Holidays between her sixth and seventh year, Tia was approached by a man claiming to be a talent scout. He wanted her to join his agency so Tia told her parents about it. They checked it out together and her parents were indifferent. They didn't care so she signed up. She didn't want to leave school and so an agreement was made, she would work on the school holidays, just a light bit of magazine modelling here and there, nothing major. Tia had a lot of fun. She decided that this was definitely a career avenue that she wanted to follow. There was nothing else that had caught her fancy in life but modelling seemed like so much fun. She went along to a few shoots with her mum who was exceedingly disinterested, but Tia knew this was the life she wanted. After Tia returned to school, all she could think about was becoming a model. She thought about dropping out. Her school work took a dive, she didn't care much for what she was studying but she tried to stay at least a little on track with her education. She picked up her grades after Christmas, managing to pull in mostly As and one E. She had spent her Christmas and Easter Holidays doing photo shoots and modelling became a huge part of her life. The rest of the school year seemed to take forever but she managed to finish it before she legally changed her name to Tia Flawless and jumped full-time into modelling work. She did swimsuit catalogues, lingerie, formal gowns, sleepwear. Anything that really flaunted her figure. It was amazing, she was in instant success. She got her first cover and felt as though she was on top of the world. Life has been wonderful for Tia. She's worked runways around the world, she's invested in a nightclub in London, she bought her parents a cute little cottage home to live in and she spends her nights partying ... or going to bed early because she has a big day of shoots, or repetitive walking ahead of her, you get the gist of it all, she's in magazines around the world, her posters are pinned up in the bedroom of wistful young men, and probably the man caves of perverted older guys, but Tia is living her best life, she's happy and excited about life, and as Tia would say, "Remember to be your best self and always be Flawless!".
