Mirror of Erised: Halley's reflection seems almost exactly the same, only she's smiling brightly, surrounded by books and clearly far more intelligent than Halley believes herself to be. Patronus: Becoming a Healer. She worked so hard for her grades and to be good enough. Her patronus doesn't have a form, but it is a shiny silvery cloud at the moment. Someday she might make it work! Halley Roisin Bailey was born to a very happy and relieved Sofia and Tom Bailey. The couple had been trying for years to get pregnant only to have their dreams thwarted time and time again. Sofia and Tom never gave up, Sofia knew that she would have a child some day and that they would be the kindest, most magnificent parents in the world to their little darling. And so they were. Halley was named for the comet. They had waited for what felt like decades and then there she was, brightening their lives in the dead of night. Halley was given everything she could ever possibly want. She never had any brothers or sisters but she was surrounded by cousins of all ages. She loved playing with them but she was also always happy once they were gone and she could relax, take a moment to breathe. She was rather nurturing of her younger cousins, growing up, and she would speak up against the older ones if she thought they were being unfair. When Halley went to Hogwarts she was sorted into Ravenclaw. She hadn't thought that that would be the house for her, but she supposed it was a darn sight better than Slytherin, although she did have a few moments here and there where she felt as though she didn't belong. She was paired up with a boy from her house called Killian and he helped her understand her work when she struggled. Her creativity and her love of cooking came in handy for Potions, it was the only subject she studied that she never needed any additional help on. After graduating she began working at St Mungo's. She became a Healer on the Potions and Plant Poisoning ward, something that puts to use her talent with potions, caring for people and her ability to be strict when needed.
