Alice Juliette Flint
HISTORY Mother: Henrietta Flint, pureblood Father: Reginald Flint, deceased, pureblood Siblings: Jasper Ignatius Flint, pureblood Felix Flint, pureblood Zane Flint, dickhead, pureblood Partners: No one Others: Blackwoods and Macnairs Boggart: Someone spilling a potion all over her, melting her skin Mirror of Erised: So much gold! So many hot guys! Patronus: Aly can't produce a patronus. Henrietta and Reginald Flint's third child was their most perfect, or so Alice would claim. She was the only girl out of three boys and she was an absolute princess. Her mother spoiled her to no end and her father barely had time for her, but that was okay, Alice always thought that he smelt funny and sometimes downright disgusting, she'd just rather not be around him, she preferred the floral scents of perfumes and potpourri. With two older brothers, Alice was coddled and protected Jasper looked out for her and would fetch her anything she desired and Felix would punch anyone that looked at her funny. She had protective older brothers that adored her, and she them, Zane on the other hand was a little shit. He would take her dolls and Jasper and Felix were forever putting him in his place. Thankfully Alice was pretty good with her magic from a young age and able to get back her toys that Zane would take, although she much preferred someone else standing up for her, something she's never tired of. When she was 11 she was off to Hogwarts and sorted straight into Slytherin. She fit right in but that wasn't a surprise, she'd already had her friends from growing up as one of the pureblood elite. She was pretty self-involved, she liked her friends but honestly, she much preferred to look out for number one, that wasn't to say she just ditched people, but more that she'd make out with your boyfriend if he hit on her, or she'd hit on your boyfriend if her looked at her. Yeah, loyalty wasn't all that strong in Alice but it was never much of an issue, she wasn't into girls so she kept her guy friends, and her few actual girl friends were never serious with anyone, so it was all fine as far as Alice would care. Alice would coast through her lessons wherever she could, if she could pick the lazy options then she would. She was pretty good at most subjects when she applied herself and did graduate with some pretty spectacular grades given no one ever really any credit for being smart. She was good at potions and herbology and even transfiguration. Towards the end of her seventh year, Reg, Alice's dad, spoke with her, explaining that he and her mother would be looking for a husband for her. She objected, digging her heels in which resulted in a screaming match and a lot of broken glasses. A few days later Alice's parents spoke with her again, she had a choice - to be married off or to be cut off. She chose to be cut off. There was no way her mum would leave her without. Alice was partly right. After graduating from Hogwarts, and really applying herself so she could try and get a decent job. She was allowed to move back into the family home but she didn't want to be there for long, she convinced Jasper to sell her, extremely cheaply, to sell her his London apartment. Jasper and Ebony looked out for her in a lot of ways, Ebony taking her shopping anytime she needed good clothes, and Felix pulled some strings to get her a job at the ministry. Things were pretty easy for Alice, she never truly had to be independent. Life at the Ministry didn't really suit Alice. It was dull and repetitive. She got to talking with Lucian Burke one night and he offered her work in his apothecary. She gave it a go and learnt she actually kind of liked the quieter side of work. If she could then she wouldn't work at all, but while she has to, she likes where she's at. Plus the job comes with a few perks that are great for a night out, or in!
