Patronus: She cannot produce a patronus, but if she could she would use the memory of the time she took her sister and youngest brother away for a holiday. Just the three of them having the time of their lives. No idea what animal it would be, don't make me think. Let's go with a Wyvern, hence the name of her pub - The White Wyvern.

Lia was the first born child in a rather traditional pureblooded family. Her mother was a snobby cow and her father was distant and verbally abusive when he saw his children. Lia saw her parents for what they were and never idolised them like her brother Toby seemed to do. Lia always felt as though it was her job to shield her youngest brother and sister from their parents borderline neglect, but Toby ran headfirst into rejection time and time again.

Lia grew a tough outer shell. She wouldn't let her emotions show on the surface. Straight faced she kept her life private from most people, she wasn't even all that open with her siblings, choosing instead to internalise a lot. She keeps a diary, or rather a lot of diaries. She'd journaled her life starting at the age of eight. She writes every day and finds it soothing and a good way to work through some of her smaller problems. Her bigger problems she's taken a bit more of a hands-on approach towards.

At age eleven Lia was off to Hogwarts, sorted into Slytherin where she made some good friends. They were the types to enjoy the limelight which was fine for Lia, the less attention on her, the better. She wasn't some kind of wallflower, she put forth decent effort into forming friendships (because who wants to be alone!?) and it paid off, although her friendship circle is small, she's pretty happy with it.

Lia wasn't a straight O student but she did the best that she could. She earned an O, a couple of As, but mostly she got Es in her NEWTs, something she was happy with. During her first year home her father died. She was in the house when he fell down the stairs but it was her younger sister that was a blubbering mess. Eleven year old Demi, who was home for her first Christmas from Hogwarts, kept claiming it was an accident and Lia wasn't going to ask questions. They reported what happened, were asked questions, became one another's alibi's and that was that, no one needed to know anything else, although Lia found out during the investigation that she'd been betrothed to another, something she'd known nothing about but apparently her mother and father had seen fit to promise her to another without even having said a word to her. Lia was pissed and vowed to have nothing more to do with her mother after that and the engagement did not happen, although Toby feeling his role as "man of the family" tried to push with it, resulting in her brother receiving a black eye. They got through without much suspicion and that was what mattered most. Life went back to normal although Lia found she became more of a parent to Demi and Xander than her own parents had been to any of them. Demi went back to school and Lia kept in contact, Xander stayed with her until he went off to Hogwarts, naturally Lia documented everything in her journal but it's locked away where no one can find it.

After their father's death, each of them inherited a decent part of money, although the bulk of it went to Toby and Demi and Xander wouldn't be able to access theirs until they were of age. They each got a property but Toby got the family home. Lia wasn't surprised at all to find out that their mother got nothing at all, it was so like their father to leave her with nothing, despite how they seemed in public they were anything but in love behind closed doors. Lia had heard the fighting, she'd seen the bruises their mother had left upon their father but she said nothing, it wasn't her business. Still their mother was, is, fine. Toby chose to let her remain in the family home (can you say 'mama's boy'?) and he supports her. He took over all the businesses their father owned, Toby selling most of them, but Lia did what she wanted. She invested most of it and doesn't worry about it, while everything else she put into a bar in Knockturn Alley. It's a dive bar but the patrons are like family. Dodgy, stab you in the back family, but family. It's weird and hard to explain, but if she needs something done discreetly, they'd be there for her. Thanks to her bar she met the driver of the Hogwarts Express, he taught her how to drive trains and she took over for him two years ago when he retired. She thought about becoming a train driver as a full time but she loves her little bar too much. She still talks a lot with her younger brother and sister but barely has anything to do with Toby unless he comes to her or it's a family gathering of some kind.
