Mostly his legs. He's in a wheelchair, hands crippled, he can't hold onto anything, he can't fly, can't even walk. Completely crippled and pathetic. Mirror of Erised: His team top of the league, year after year after year. He goes down in the Hall of Fame as the best Quidditch Manager there ever was, his picture right there beside all of the trophies his team has won because of his hard work. Patronus: Arctic Fox - Linc's happy memory is and always will be getting his big break in the Quidditch world after graduating from school. Reading that letter that told him he was the new Seeker for the Ballycastle Bats was just... ahh, the most incredible feeling of euphoria he had ever experienced. He knows he will never top it, and he doesn't need to, it was the perfect moment. Lincoln was born approximately four minutes before his sister Bethrielle, on a muggy June day, thunder rumbling across the skies outside of St. Mungo's. His cries drowned it out for a while, and then the cries of his sister joined in in the most beautiful chorus his mother had ever heard. That untouchable bliss lasted for about two weeks, and then Lyalla Wilder would burst into tears along with her twins, begging her husband Callidus to take them for five minutes while she took the liberty of just breathing for a while. With two older children, Thelonius and Titania to contend with, life for the Wilders was never boring or easy, but they loved each other dearly. Lincoln grew up knowing how to share, how to manage his emotions well, and how to consider others in everything he did. He couldn't just take a toy that he fancied playing with without checking that it wasn't already being played with by someone else. He couldn't eat the last biscuit if he fancied a snack without checking if anyone else wanted it first, and if they did, the biscuit would have to be broken into however many pieces were required. He couldn't just have a massive meltdown when he felt angry, because it was late at night and he might wake his siblings up, even if he was raging because he'd lost his favourite teddy and couldn't sleep. He didn't enjoy holding back and being so considerate, but it moulded him into a great team player, and he carried that with him through his life. He was sorted into Ravenclaw at school, enjoying being in the house of intellect as it challenged him and kept him on his toes. He was clever, witty, sharp, never one to miss a trick or an opportunity. Some would call him wily, but he always argues the toss on that one, saying that it implies he is sly, which he is not. He can be, but it's more cleverness than anything else. He became team captain for the Ravenclaw Quidditch team, competitive to a fault, and quite intimidating on a broom, he was fast, lightning reflexes and the ability to think with a clear head, and keep his team focused. He adored the game, and though he graduated from school with wonderful grades in most lessons, he wanted to pursue the sport as a career. He went on to become Seeker for the Ballycastle Bats, fame following quickly, as well as money, which he loved. His siblings were all starting families and doing sensible things, but Linc wasn't into all that. He was too selfish, too focused on himself. He became an uncle many times over the years, switching teams, travelling the world, stopping back home for flying visits with family and friends. He was a good uncle when he was around, lots of fun, teaching the kids tricks and pranks and giving them tips on the best ways to get their parents attention. He was good at all of that stuff as a kid, why not pass it on, since it was unlikely he'd ever have kids of his own. He dated over the years, only ever having one serious relationship with a guy he met in Australia. It lasted for a year and a half and then Linc had to move on with his career, leaving the Australian team he was with and moving back to England. Now in his forties, he's no longer in his prime, as they say, and his career halted for a few years when he became too old to play professionally. An opening came up about five years ago to manage the Falmouth Falcons, who he had played for for a year back in his prime. He thought it was better than becoming a washed up has-been, and so he has been managing the team, leading them to glory and thoroughly enjoying this new stage of his life.
