PERSONALITY Boggart: A mountain of paperwork on her desk, on fire Mirror of Erised: Rhys proposing Patronus: Hummingbird - Her happiest memories fluctuate but they generally involve her job or her boyfriend, Rhys. Ashleigh is generally fun-loving and almost always up for an adventure - so long as its on the weekend. She has to work, after all! She's not above hanging out with friends after work but she's usually home and in pyjamas by 9pm. Ash is normally pretty confident and often takes the role of the leader in a group, but when it comes to her relationship with Rhys she's a little more of a follower; not in a submissive way, but she certainly hasn't brought up the fact that they've been living together for three years and he hasn't so much as mentioned marriage or children - both of which she wants. There aren't many outright enemies in Ashleigh's life, but there are certainly people who don't like her, other think she's a little overbearing. Ashleigh is the middle child of Mary-Lou and Christian Burke. Her siblings, Leila (older) and Misty (younger) were always fun on family holidays but they were all so different that they rarely played together beyond their younger years. The age difference between the three weren't enormous but it was enough that they didn't spend much time together even in their overlapping years at Hogwarts. Ashleigh was sorted into Hufflepuff and roomed with some of the most attractive witches the school had ever seen. In fact, there were so many attractive boys and girls in her year that Ash might have had a little bit of a reputation for being a flirt, if not more. She never considered herself slutty, but she had fun while in school. After graduation, Ashleigh took a position at the Ministry of Magic in the Magical Transportation Department and gradually worked her way up the Floo Network Authority. It's not a glamorous job, but an important one and Ash takes her work very seriously. She thinks of herself as a good manager but she's been known to crack the whip a time or two, which means she's often eating alone in the Ministry cafeteria. Early in her career as a Ministry employee, she met a handsome wizard named Rhys Morgan. Casual workplace flirtations led to a date, then another, and another. They began dating when Ashleigh was 22, and by 25 they'd moved in together. It seemed like a proper timetable, things progressing steadily, but after three and a half years, Ashleigh is hoping for a proposal. Her friends aren't sure that its coming.
