PERSONALITY Boggart: Being told her baby has died inside of her. Mirror of Erised: Hersel, Rom and the kids in a big house in the country. She loves being a Professor and she loves their little Hogwarts life, but she's beginning to yearn for a life away from the castle, to raise her kids at least somewhat normally. Patronus: Dolphin - Getting married and having her babies. Honestly, best feeling in the world <3 Everything that Leila does, she does in full. There is no half-arsing anything when Leila is involved. She's a strong and driven person who just sparkles with her smile. Just her presence in life is a positive unicorn rainbow shit that sparkle and gleams and tastes of cherries and strawberries and just pretty much all your favourite flavours. Why specifically unicorn shit and not perhaps unicorn dreams? Well because she's also quite a realist and while she's happy to be idealistic most of the time, if you burst that bubble then there's a strong chance you'll unleash the beast within, one that will shit all over you and whatever fantasy you're foolishly harbouring. But yeah! Don't piss her off and you'll be fine! Leila loves to have fun, so don't ever ruin her fun. She's a goofy gal that will gladly be the laugh as well as have a laugh. She never thinks of it as laughing at someone, or being laughed at, but rather all laughing together. If someone starts to look like they'r beginning to get uncomfortable becoming the butt of a joke - or in any situations really - then her mummy-instincts kick in and she ends things, usually quite abruptly and with a firm voice that rarely comes out, although that can be completely ruined if her clumsiness gene kicks in. When you think about your life you tend to include memories from your childhood. You remember friends, your parents and family. You remember holidays and quite frankly a lot of things from your early youth, but not Leila. It's all a kind of blur to her. She has little snippets of her memory but at the age of eleven, getting off the Hogwarts Express for the very first time in Hogsmeade station, she tripped and twisted her ankle. So why does that equal fuzzy memories from way back when? Well it doesn't. Not directly. Just sort of indirectly. You see when she got into the boat that took her across the lake, she twisted it again. Still not an issue, at least not until the boat docked, she fell, hit her head and landed in the lake. It was awful. She woke up a couple of days later in the hospital wing having missed the start of term feast and the sorting. She was the talk of the castle and she's sure she's still remembered as the girl that missed the sorting. Still, she went on to try the hat on in the hospital bed and she was placed into Gryffindor. The heads of houses were stood around with the matron and the head master and they gave a small applause. Honestly, it was one of the most awkward interactions of her life. After the head of Gryffindor spoke to her and showed her to her dorm. Despite the rocky start to Hogwarts, Leila settled in well. She realised eventually that she was missing little bits of her childhood here and there when her family would attempt to remind her of holidays and such. It was the Christmas holidays of her first year that anything unusual was picked up on, but it was too late to reverse any damage, after all she'd known the date, she'd known the names of her family members and she'd been pretty with it all in all when she'd woken up in the hospital wing. There was nothing to have ever suggested that her long term memory had been messed with in her fall and near drowning. Thankfully only the memories from her childhood were effected. She could still make new memories and her short term memory was fine. She carried on at Hogwarts with her education as though nothing had ever happened, although she did have to deal with a fair few prats pointing her out as the girl that missed her own sorting, dealing with taunts that she was a squib that had snuck in to Hogwarts and all that malarkey. Malarkey she put to a sudden stop with a good hex or two. After graduating from Hogwarts Leila started at a job in the Ministry. It was boring. It was dull. She hated it. She eventually left and worked in a shop on Diagon Alley, until she left there, too. She wasn't settled anywhere. She had a knack for languages and had learnt a few while she was at Hogwarts, and also jetting around the world on school holidays, but in her sixth year she'd started delving into the languages of magical creatures, helped along by Professor Dumbledore who seemed to have a knack for it too. So with this ability to converse in multiple tongues across multiple species, Dumbledore came to Leila and offered her a job as a part-time professor at Hogwarts. She loved the idea and when along because why not! During one of the Christmas holidays, her family were away over seas and Leila chose to hire a cottage for a little get away. The idea was that she'd be alone, have a cosy fire and enjoy the countryside. None of that went to plan. There was snow and ice everywhere which meant she couldn't really leave the one bedroom cottage, the fire place didn't work, and what was worse the place had been double booked. Double booked! She'd spent a fortune having the place over Christmas and the owners had double booked! Well she wasn't going anywhere and apparently neither was he. One thing led to another and they eventually saw eye to eye on a few things and now they're married, so clearly it worked out for the best and it obviously doesn't matter if she insisted on opening an awkward champagne cork and popped him in the eye with it. Who even remembers a thing like that, anyway? Life worked out well for Leila and Rom after an interesting start in the little cottage. Rom got a job at Hogwarts, they got married, they had three kids and are pregnant with their fourth, due in a months time! Where has time gone?! OOC  Play By: Cameron Diaz Your Alias: Coco!
