PERSONALITY Boggart: The sun. Mirror of Erised: The sun. Patronus: No patronus. Would clearly be a bat. Or rat. Or flea. Or tick. Or something. Why don't you just get to know him and figure it out for yourself? Or perhaps you could decipher a little from his history. Either way, Dae does not wish to reveal too much of himself. His history is already too invasive. Count yourself lucky you're not dead on the floor, drained of the very life force that sustains you. HISTORY Mother: Can't remember. Father: Can't remember. Siblings: None. Partners: Too many to list over the years, check the history, perhaps. Others: Leticia Pyxi Oakes - daughter Born in April, 1564 Dae has lost sight of his birth date and just about everything that had been so relevant to his life when he had been mortal. Daemon, or Dae as he goes by today, can't remember his given name. He can recall that he was born in England to a Greek mother and a German father. He knows both Greek and German as well as English from his childhood. All other languages he knows (and there are quite a lot of them) were learnt in his second life, his cursed life. When you reach 200 years old, you kind of begin to forget your mortal life. You hold on to the important memories but everything else gets replaced. New memories, new faces, new desires. Life, or death more aptly, changes a person, especially one that lived for so long. Dae forgot his name around the 250 year mark. He lost his mothers name around 325 years. His father he'd forgotten long long ago, possibly while he was still a mortal man, he has no recollection. He was a nothing man, hardly ever there. Not someone worthy of remembering in life, let alone death. He lost the faces and voices of his parents by the time he'd reached his 90th birthday. Some envy the immortal but Dae cannot fathom why. Perhaps if he had been closer to his mother and father and if he'd had more family, then it would have been even harder for him to move along with his life as they all died one by one, leaving him to grieve alone, but as it was he only mourned for his mother who died less than two years after he'd been bitten. Dae fell in love a couple of times over his life time. The first time changed his life for all of eternity, he was bitten and turned into a creature of the night. He roamed and prowled the lands with his sire but soon she grew bored of him and left him to his own devices. The last Dae heard of her she was cornered by hunters in Romania. He did not care. The last time was a reminder of why he shouldn't - and couldn't - fall in love. He'd adopted the name of Ingram Calix Oakes and married a mortal, a witch with beauty beyond compare. She was the goddess Aphrodite incarnate. Their love resulted in a pregnancy and Dae knew there was only one thing he could do for the child's survival. Dae has remained in England, watching his former lover and keeping watch over his daughter. He's never met the child formally but he's always made sure she's well looked after. He's restricted to the night because of his condition, but he has people he compels to do his bidding, whether they like to or not. Much like him, his daughter became a Ravenclaw. A little part of his old life that he recalls. She works as a waitress now, something that confuses Dae given her natural born abilities, but not having been a part of her life, he cannot judge.
