PERSONALITY Boggart: Athena's boggart would turn into something related in heights. Athena is not a fan of being up in extreme heights. Mirror of Erised: Having a family of her own one day, being successful and still having a good relationship with her brother. Patronus: Husky - Athena's happiest memories comes from the time she spends with her family and all of the trouble that her and her twin brother get into. Athena is not an easy person to get to know. She is often cold when you first meet her, and she tends to keep her distance. She doesn’t really trust people that easily and always feels like she was always meant to be an outsider. She can be sarcastic and sometimes that sarcasm can be interpreted as her being a bitch. She can be very good at reading people, so that type of an attitude may not last long if she believes she could trust you. Once you get to know Athena she is a very kind person. She loves to help other people out and is just very sweet natured. She is very fond of practical jokes, something her and her brother used to do and has a good sense of humor. There is a bit of a mischievous side to her but it is all in good fun. She is very carefree and loves to have fun, mostly outside, whether she is climbing a tree (still a child at heart) or reading a book. She loves nature and prefers to be laying in an open field than on a couch inside. Athena is also a very artistic person and loves to just sit and sketch when she has the time. Athena is an independent person. She usually keeps to herself and really has a hard time going out of her way to meet new people and make new friends. Within her group of friends, she can be very open and willing to try new things as long as someone else is doing it with her. She is very observant when it comes to people and details in general. Athena is very close to her family. She has always had good relationship with both her father and mother, until her mother's passing, and is still very close to her brother. The two are very protective of each other and ever since Ares got engaged, Athena has become protective of her soon to be sister in law as well too. HISTORY Mother: Cersei Jones, 35, Gryffindor, Half Father: Vincent Ryder, 40, Slytherin, Pure. Siblings: Ares Poseidon, 19, Slytherin, Half Partners: N/A Others: N/A Cersei Jones, a half blood witch, had met Vincent Ryder, a pure blood wizard, when they both attended Hogwarts and immediately fell in love. After Hogwarts the two eloped much to Vincent’s family’s objections and immediately disowned him from the family. After a few years of marriage and a bunch of complications before and during her pregnancy, Cersei finally gave birth to twins, Ares Poseidon and Athena Artemis (in that order). Athena and her brother were rather sheltered by their mother. She was always fearful that she would lose her children due to the fact that she had such a hard time before and during the pregnancy to have them in the first place. Their father on the other hand was quite the opposite. He was very engaged with the kids, allowing them to do what they wanted always believing that if they got hurt, it would teach them to not do it again. Athena always remembered her mother and father fighting over things like letting them run around in the woods behind their house, climbing trees and falling out of them, and so on. Once the twins turned eleven, they received their letter for Hogwarts. Their parents told them stories of their years at the school and the twins instantly became excited. They ventured with their parents to Diagon Alley and then Platform 9 ¾ to board the train for the first time. Upon arrival to Hogwarts, Athena was sorted into Gryffindor and Ares was sorted into Slytherin. The house rivalries did not bother the twins. The two still spent a lot of time together. Athena made a few friends at Hogwarts, but was never one for large crowds. She was sort of a loner and was often teased about it. Sometimes it bothered her but she never really dwelled too much on it. Her brother on the other hand was the one who was the social butterfly. That did not mean that the two never spent time together though. They were often making a bit of mischief themselves, pranking people and getting themselves into trouble. When Athena and Ares were 6th years in Hogwarts their mother fell very ill and passed away a few months later. Athena took her mother's death hard and became more closed off from people than she was before and started to spend a lot more time in her dorm room or in the library, reading or sketching. Athena was pretty average when it came to school work, and after she had graduated Hogwarts, she moved in with her recently engaged brother, trying to figure out what she wanted to do for the rest of her life.
