PERSONALITY Boggart: A dark mist surrounds Lachy. He can hear noises but can't see a thing. He's not afraid of the dark so don't you dare mock him for that. No no, he's afraid of what's in the dark. Mirror of Erised: Winning the quidditch world champion by taking out the other teams players Patronus: Panda - knocking out a really smug and arrogant opponent. Cannot produce a patronus. Our darling Lachy isn’t the brightest tool in the colouring box but believe me, he has ways of defending himself without the need of words. Words are overly complex, actions are far quicker and more straight forward. While he may have been a Hufflepuff during his time at school, he wasn’t exactly the most model ‘Puffian. He was hard working - at working out. He was loyal - to his teammates. He was patient - waiting for the bludger to connect with his bat. Sports are Lachy’s life. He’s a gifted sportsman and he’s very well built. Absolutely solid. He’s never been one for school work but is certainly one for working out. He is dedicated to quidditch and he’s all about fair play. He can’t stand cheating. He wants to prove he’s better than everyone else and he can’t do that if there’s cheating involved on either side. With romance there’s not a lot to say about Lachy. He’s not great with the ladies but there are some *ahem* aspects, of his *ahem* personality, that bring the ladies in, not to mention his excellent body and the small fortune his parents have that he has access to. Lachy tends to rub a lot of people up the wrong way. He’s good with offensive spells and kicking peoples arse in a physical fight. He’d much rather fight hand to hand than wand to wand though so if you’re in a duel with him - move fast! Lachy doesn’t really have too many friends. He’s the sort of person that doesn’t really need them. He’s not really aware when people are laughing with him or at him but really, it doesn’t matter too much to him, he’s just glad the people around him are having a good time. He does have a strong sense of loyalty to his teammates and that goes beyond blood and time. If you were his teammate, you’ll always be his teammate. While he is prone to supporting the Death Eaters and would rather see a pureblooded world, he’d defend his teammates no matter what their blood status. Now add on to all of that that Lachy loves animals and we’ve just about summed him up! HISTORY Mother: Bonnie Macnair nee Flint, 53, slytherin,pureblood Father: Douglas Macnair, 57, slytherin, pureblood Siblings: Walden Macnair, 29, pureblood Rowan Macnair, 26, pureblood Partners: none Others: Blackwoods and the Flints. Mrs Beatrice Blackwood, Mr Flint and Lachy's mum Mrs Bonnie Macnair are siblings making the Blackwood children and the Flint children Lachy's cousins Lachlan was born to 2 very enthusiastic Quidditch fans. He was the third son for Douglas and Bonnie Macnair. There was never anything special about Lachy that was really worth mentioning as a child. The only thing that ever stood out about Lachy was his build - he was always big and tall. He was the tallest and his family with his brothers father and mother all being shorter than him. If Lachlan didn't look just like his dad then one could be forgiven for thinking that his mum had had an affair. Despite Lachlan's parents being married via an arrangement, they very much fell in love and remained faithful to one another. Lachlan hopes to one day find love like his parents have. It's just a bit difficult given that he is a moron. Growing up with two older brothers Lachlan was always in little scuffles. Even from a young age Lachlan outgrew his brothers both in weight and width which meant he could pin them easily. Soon enough they stopped rough housing with him (unless anger struck) and they all took up Quidditch instead. Lachlan found he loved the position of seeker however because of his build who was better suited as a beater. His broad shoulders and big arms gave him exceptional strength. Starting at Hogwarts was a great adventure for Lachlan. He was sorted into Hufflepuff where he found people that would accept him despite being rather a bit of an idiot. In his second year Lachlan joined the Hufflepuff quidditch team. He loved the attention it got him. Not many people wanted to be his friends but after starting quidditch more people paid attention to him and gave him the time of day he desired in his early years. Now that he's older Lachlan realises that he doesn't really like that much company. He finds people are usually only after attention by being with him. He's found friends in his teammates through the years and that's about all. Academically speaking Lachlan did not do so well. He finished school getting 5 OWLs and 3 NEWTs. He was always fantastic at care of magical creatures. It was hands down his most favourite lesson. He also had a knack for herbology. But beyond that he struggled with most lessons, his essays really letting him down. Luckily words don't mean much when you're built the way that Lachy is built. Having played Quidditch since he was a boy and having played quidditch during school (and let's not forget his outstanding build) Lachlan was snapped up by the Magpies quidditch team as their new beater straight out of school. Lachlan found he fit in exceptionally well with the team and made friends rather quickly. He's made himself a strong reputation for being a ruthless beater on the pitch, one the fans cheer for.
