Halley rested her head on Killy’s shoulder glad that the whole fighting saga was out of they way and that things would be settling down now, but Halley felt her cheeks blush as Killian asked about the guy in the kitchen. She shrugged her shoulders and looked at Killian, waving her free hand, “That’s Roux. He seems really nice.” He seemed more than nice. He was sculpted by the Angels themselves. “I helped him stack the freezer with ice cream, so maybe I’m his heroine!” She’d brought a lot of dessert and Roux had brought a lot of ice cream, they were like a match made in heaven!

There was such a huge fuss going on over in the pool that Halley’s eyes were drawn to it. She recognised some of the people involved but she wasn’t friends with any of them. Killian had been quidditch rivals with them back in school, and theses days too she supposed, but beyond that she didn’t really know them. “Looks like you’re not the only hero.” She said, looking at the quidditch stars all tangled up in the mess. “But you’ll always be my hero.” She grinned at him, taking hold of his hand and hugging his arm.

If there was one thing Halley could always count on, it was that Killian would always be there for her. As she fell he managed to catch her and held her upright. She wobbled a little but found her footing and gave Killian a big ol' squeezey cuddle. "My hero." She cooed, giving him a peck on the cheek, oblivious still to the arguing in the pool or the drama of the table. "How do you always manage to save me from myself?" She asked, she was much more comfortable now she was back in Killian's company, but she was still thinking about that handsome Roux fellow in the kitchen.

Halley stumbled as she walked past Roux, his scent caught her off guard and she could have swooned, like actually swooned. She caught her balance and carried on walking out the room, getting some fresh air. She took a deep breath as she walked towards the barbecue, not sure where she was really going but there were people there, she could mingle amongst them and cool down for a second before she threw herself into the pool. She had said to Roux that she was going to the pool, right? She could barely remember. The whole interaction with Roux had left her cheeks flushed pink and she was more than a little disorientated as she caught her upper thigh on the corner of a table, causing her to twist and trip. She should have definitely headed for the pool, she would definitely have been safer in the water rather than near a hot barbecue and the drinks, but she was too busy falling to notice the commotionthat was brewing poolside.

Roux moved out of the way of a few people passing by and incidentally made himself very close with Halley, giving her butterflies a little jolt as a nervous little giggle almost slipped out but she caught herself and managed to hold it back so it only sounded like a loud sigh, although of course that was probably far worse and her cheeks blushed a deeper pink, although by the time Roux was done with his playful question, Halley was about read to faint and most certainly resembling a tomato rather than herself. “No! No, no! Maybe? No! I mean no!” Well this was terrible, “I might have a swim in the pool,” She said, pointing her finger in the pools direction, hopefully it would cool her down and bring her mouth to a stop before she got herself into more trouble.

People were coming and going, popping their heads in and then out again, it was almost like some strange hokey cokey, but Halley didn’t really notice much at all because she was hooked on what Roux was saying. Leo had saved him, twice. “Twice?!” She said, kind of shocked, “You should keep a healer with you at all times.” She chuckled, thinking that she wouldn’t mind staying with him, like, forever.

Halley lost track of time. She could have held his hand for an eternity but he let go. It was only when their hands parted that she realised she’d been holding it for quite a while and that she probably seemed like a complete idiot, but he didn’t seem to let on that he thought of her as such, in fact he was being really nice. “Really good,” She gushed, almost grinning, “I just got here but, yeah.” She trailed off, figuring that she was definitely being too much, “I work with Leo, he showed me the ropes when I was starting out.” She smiled, wanting to talk less and hear Roux more, “How about you? Are you guys friends?” Maybe he could tell her a few stories and she could stare into his hypnotic eyes or watch his perfect lips move as he spoke.

Halley was extra cautious while handling the ice cream. She was petrified that the ice cream container was going to slip between her fingers and fall on the floor. What would happen? She wasn’t actually sure, but it probably wouldn’t be a big deal, however she would most definitely want to die. Thankfully she was okay, she managed to put it away just fine and then the handsome guy introduced himself, leaving Halley’s mind blank for a moment as she tried to recall her own name, “Halley.” She said, reaching her cold hand to his.

Another lifetime. Oh Merlin, she hoped she wasn’t as much of an embarrassment in that other lifetime, she could hardly believe how much of a twit she was being right now in front of the incredibly handsome guy. He didn’t look much older than her, but Halley couldn’t recall ever seeing him at school. He asked for a hand and Halley stepped forward, although she had no idea how to help, she was just glad that she hadn’t started clapping, because that was where her mind had first gone when he'd asked for a hand. “Sure,” She said, bending to pick up a tub of ice cream.

Halley took a slow, steady breath in. It kept going and going until she couldn’t breath in any more and then she let the long breath out, trying to keep herself calm as the handsome guy moved closer to her. The close he got, the more she wanted to just slink away in absolute embarrassment, about what, though? She had no idea what it was that she was embarrassed about. She’d not really done anything other than get a little dizzy. “I - I don’t think so?” Did she really just say that as a question? She did. She’d just answered his question with an exceptionally dumb question. He was handsome and his smiled kept her frozen to the spot. She couldn’t move. She just felt a warm smile spread over her face as she felt herself inches from swooning as he reached beside her and opened a door, declaring he’d found the fridge. “Well done.” She said softly, staring into his impossibly perfect brown eyes, then realising she was almost in the way so she shook her head, comming to her senses and literally doing a little bunny hop out of the way. And, also, what the hell was that!? ‘Well done’? On finding a fridge!? What was happening to her!?

Killy managed to somehow talk his new buddy into showing him where the record player was. Halley wasn't surprised, he was always able to get his way with things and Halley just carried on with what she was doing, folding up her bag that she'd carried multiple desserts in and finding a cupboard to tuck it away in so it didn't make the place look messy. As she closed the cupboard she head a smooth voice that caught her by surprise, she didn't recognise and yet it felt as though there something familiar about it, as though she knew it from a past life. Halley turned to look at the man the voice had come from. She saw the most incredible looking man standing in the kitchen and he was talking to her, her head was spinning. Halley placed a hand against the counter, steadying herself just a little. Had she turned too fast? Was he really so hot that he could make her dizzy? Probably the spinning thing, right? Right. He mentioned the pav in the fridge and she gave a short little giggle, a noise she had no idea she could make. She looked mortified with herself. Had that really come out of her? What the heck was going on? "Yeah, I brought a few dessert options." She said, trying to sound as casual as possible, possibly making herself actually sound a little too casual somehow, while also giving the complete vibe that she was some kind of crazy person that brought a bunch of desserts to a party. Which she was.

“Yes, summery dessert for a summery day.” She said, popping the containers away in the fridge. There wasn’t a whole lot of room but as Killy chatted away to someone, Halley finished up. She shut the fridge and turned to see what trouble Killy was getting himself into. At least he was being friendly, she supposed, not that he would ever be anything but. “Hi,” She smiled brightly to the Dorian fellow with a little shrug of her shoulders, “I’m Halley, I work with Leo.” She headed to the pavlova that was sitting on the counter and picked it up, carrying it to the fridge. She pulled open the door and slid the container into the spot she’d made for it and closed the door shut. Usually she would have waited until last minute to decorate the pav, but she wanted to be able to enjoy herself and besides, the container it was it would keep the dessert just as it was supposed to be without compromising its crunchy texture.

Halley shh'ed Killian as they made their way through the dining room and to the kitchen. It didn't matter whose house she was in, Halley always made herself at home in their kitchen. A kitchen was the heart of every home and Halley always gave it love, right after she stuffed it with things she brought from home. "Let me just make room in the fridge," She mumbled to herself, "Oh," She finally realised Killian had asked a few questions, "Pavlova, and yes, big ol' pool out back." She waved a hand, "Go dive in, Leo won't mind." Leo was awesome, he was laid back and wouldn't mind if a bloke he'd never seen before just bombed into his beautiful pool, or so Halley assumed based on the fact that nothing ever seemed to faze Leo. Halley pulled out box after book and carefully put them in the fridge, making sure to leave room for the homemade pavlova she'd made.

"I just don't like being late!" She said, despite Killy's protests that they were too early and they would definitely be the first ones there. Halley hated being late, she'd much rather be the first ones there than show up when everyone else had already settled in. "Come on!" She said, ushering Killy out the door of her apartment, "Oh! Wait there!" She said, rushing back inside and grabbing a large container, pushing it into Killy's arms before she rushed back in and came back out with a large bag. "Okay!" She grinned, shutting the door behind them before she shooed Killy down the stairs and to the back alley of Diagon Alley where she could hear the busy Sunday crowds enjoying themselves in the most magical alley in all of Britain, or at least she assumed they were enjoying themselves, who couldn't enjoy themselves on such a perfect day!
Once they were in the back alley behind Madam Milkins, where Halley's flat happened to be, Halley linked her arm with Killy and pulled out her wand. "Ready?" She asked but she didn't wait for an answer, she disapparated them to Leo's, managing to land upright but she let go of Killy the second they arrived or she would have toppled the both of them over. "Lovely!" She said cheerily, smoothing out her dress and walking up to Leo's front door. She went to give it a knock but the door opened and she looked at Killy, pulling a face to suggest she was actually a little impressed, "Helloo!" She called all poshly, walking in. "Don't drop that," She said to Killy, although it probably should have been said before she apparated him away, but it didn't really matter, the container was magical and kept the food safe, regardless of what it went through, "We're looking for either Leo or the kitchen." She said to Killy.

Kitchen/DiningAfter you ascend the the stairs to the top floor, the front door opens and the frist room you come across is the kitchen at the back of the house. Bright and taking advantage of the natural light, Halley loves to cook in her little kitchen and keeps it bright and happy with fresh flowers that she buys from a witch every few days down in Diagon Alley.  LoungeAfter a hard days work or having faced some tru evil in the world, Halley loves to settle in her lounge with a good book. She doesn't find as much time to read as she would like but she feels most comfortable in her lounge, having fallen asleep on the sofa countless times. During the day noise from the Alley below can be heard, helping Halley to feel close and connected to the magical world, at night things are more quiet and her lamps create a soft and relaxing glow.  BedroomPurple is one of Halley's favourite colour and she indulges in it with her bedroom. She maked the most of the room she has and usually it's the neatest room in the house. She loves to go to bed with fresh sheets and sleeps with her window open, making the room freezing cold so she can really appreciate snuggling into her blankets at night.  BathroomLess a bathroom, more a shower room. Rather than a bath or bath/shower combo, Halley opted for a double shower with a little seat. With no windows it relies on lights to keep it bright.
