Juno glared at the witch for a second, contemplating saying something snippy in return, but Juno. thought better of it, she was the better person on every level, and as such she was going to rise above such pettiness and make her way elsewhere so she wouldn't have to deal with the irritating desk witch. Juno headed back to her office and sat at her desk, barely able to think, just reeling over the audacity of that, of that ... bitch!

This little witch was really something else. Juno's eyes narrowed anther lips pursed. She was throughly irritated. This witch was an absolute cow and Juno would be seeing to it that she got into trouble for this kind of behaviour. It was not appropriate. She knew exactly what it was that she had been up to, and her denial was infuriating, "Who said it's his legal case?" Not the greatest retort, she knew that, but it only went to show how little this woman knew, which was probably why she was only some silly receptionist even though she looked like she wasn't far off thirty. Though she was right, as much as ist irritated Juno to admit it to herself, she had just waited and she hadn't even bothered to ask the witches name. "I gave you my name, you're supposed to give me yours, that's how introductions work, it's not my fault you've not grasped that concept in your ... what, 33 years of existence?" Juno, stood, she'd had enough of this witch and her ridiculous work ethic.

The witch was so rude and Juno didn't know what to think. This certainly wasn't professional conduct and Junohad half a mind to complain to the woman's superior. "I'll have you know I'm a hoot." She said, still keeping her tone low incase anyone else walked up, she didn't want to embarrass herself again, "I just don't think it's very professional of you to make such crude comments and double entendre, this is a work place." She scolded. This woman's higher ups would be hearing about this.

This woman was outrageous! Absolutely shocking and outright abhorrent. Who even talked like that in a place of work? She fully knew just exactly what she was doing and Juno and then to top it all off, she was talking about sensitive matters that were absolutely nothing to do with her or her job, "That is sensitive information that you are most certainly not privy to." She said, turning her head away and avoiding eye contact with the horrid, horrid witch.

Yes! The witch seemed to be getting it! Juno was glad she was finally getting her point across because she honestly wouldn't feel comfortable if there was someone in her place of work that thought she was up to all kinds of untoward things with people in the work place. "What!?" Juno was shocked! She couldn't believe what she was hearing nor that someone would imply anything like that in the work place but she couldn't say more than what she already had because the witch was having to deal with someone and Juno prayed that that was not Mr Eldritch or she would never, ever live this down, she just sat, biting her tongue, waiting for the small man to walk off. He eventually left and Juno tapped her foot, waiting for him to be out of ear shot, but Juno still chose to whisper rather than make a scene of some kind, "That is absolutely not what I meant at all!" She said sternly.

Juno was completely embarrassed, her mouth hung open as she tried to think of a way to convince the witch that that wasn't what she was up to. At all! Ever! "No, he really is just about work, I work in the MLE department, I'm a lawyer," She said patting her pockets for her work ID but it wasn't there, "I just, can't discuss it." Oh dear, that was definitely not convincing, "I would never use work for anything personal like that," She said in the hopes that the witch would be able to gauge the type of person she was, although Juno knew she was completely failing.

"Oh!" Juno's eyes widened and she laughed, waving her hand to dismiss the witch comment, "It's nothing like that." She reassured, "It's just a work thing, he was supposed to turn up about half an hour ago." She hoped that would be the end of it, she didn't want the witch thinking that she was waiting for her boyfriend at work, what would they even do? Hook up in her office? No way! Anyone could just walk it, it would be scandalous and she could be reprimanded over it. No way would she ever risk that sort of thing happening.

"Eld-ritch." She said quietly in an attempt to correct the pronunciation of the desk witch, but it was of no use, the witch was on her way to look up the name, "Never mind." She whispered, clasping her hands in front of her. The name was close enough, if he'd come through then she'd see his name, it would be close enough. The Welcome Witch was clearly in a world of her own as she talked about a silver fox. Juno felt a little uneasy as she stood there. "I-I don't know." She smiled awkwardly. Eldritch was an older guy, but was he attractive? She didn't think so, but then she didn't really find older guys attractive, she liked guys around her own age, or that looked like Raph Hookum, or that were Raph Hookum. Now he was a guy she considered handsome.
"Oh, well." She pouted, her mind thinking of what to do next. "Would you mind if I stayed here for five minutes?" She asked. She had a look at her watch and then back to the witch, "Just to see if he turns up." And if he didn't, maybe she'd just get herself a bite to eat. If he arrived while she was having a break, great! If he didn't, well then she'd have to send an owl to see if he forgot. She hoped there was nothing untoward going on, but there really was no telling these days.

Life at the Ministry was kind of repetitive. New cases came along but all in all it was the same procedure. Juno found that she wasn't needed as much as she'd hoped, she was used for the lesser cases, the ones that an intern could handle, but none the less, she put her all into her work and intended on busting her arse in order to work her way up the ladder. This was her dream job, this was what she had wanted for so long but the reality of it was so different to what she'd imagined. Currently she was supposed to be meeting with a Mr Eldritch. She checked her watch and tapped her quill a few times. He was now more than 20 minutes late for their appointment and Juno wasn't in the slightest bit happy.
After waiting another five minutes, Juno laid her quill down and stood from her chair. She was going to check with the front desk to see if perhaps he had just gotten lost, after all the Ministry could be quite the maze if you weren't familiar with it. So Juno left her office and made her way to the elevator. It was the middle of the day so it was relatively empty apart from the few others that needed to travel between floors. When the elevator finally came to a stop at the Atrium, Juno walked out and headed for the front desk. "Excuse me?" She said, as she came to a stop at the front desk, the brunette with the cup of tea didn't seem impressed, "Hello," She kind of half smiled, "I'm Juno Addison, from MLE. I was wondering if a Mister Eldritch had checked in today." Of course there was always the possibility that something had happened to Mr Eldritch, but she sincerely hoped not.

Juno Victoria Addison was the first born child of Adeline and Evan Addison. She was the quiet sort that would usually keep her head down and focus on what she was doing. She has always been rather single-minded, finding it easy to focus on one thing and just go, go, go until her task is completed. Her mother used to quip of how she had her blinkers on, but that was almost exactly what it was like. Everything around her would be drowned out and this came in very handy when she started at Hogwarts and there were a lot of distraction around, some of which were drop dead gorgeous! Sorted into Ravenclaw like her parents, Juno did her house proud. She was a bit of a know-it-all and prided herself on knowing answers. She was a complete teachers pet and she didn't care if people judged her for it. She began making friends perhaps a bit later than all the others but the ones she made were the one sin her dorm. Perhaps it was because of proximity or pity, but two girls in her dorm let her join in. They were pureblooded, she was pureblooded, so they just fit, according to Lilith, that was. Juno had never really thought much about blood status but she enjoyed the glimpses she got into Lilith's world, she was smart and practically a Princess. Juno wasn't envious of her friend, quite the opposite, she often felt sorry for her, but she kept opinions like that to herself, because while they were friends, Lilith had never really seemed the sort to take criticism, whereas she could talk to her other friend about almost anything. After graduating with perfect grades, Juno managed to get an internship at the Ministry in their law department.
