Adeline was always a bit of an oddball in life. She came from a family of pessimists but she was the optimist with her eye set on the goal rather than the misery that surrounded them. Her father suffered badly from the effects of depression while her mother was a mean drunk, though thankfully she never turned on her children, but they all saw the effects of her drinking habit all too often. Adeline's brothers grew up and went to Hogwarts and Adeline was left home alone with her parents. Her brother's were amazing, they would take it in turns to write to her, to make sure she was safe, and once her older brother got his apparition license he was come and visit her every month when it was the Hogsmeade visit. Her brothers would always come home for Christmas and Easter holidays and as soon as her oldest brother, Demond, graduated, he got a job in the ministry that he hated. He was smart and worked hard and saved even harder. After three months he found an apartment to rent and legally adopted Adeline. Their parents held no objections and spiralled in their addictions. Goron potions and Ferula alcohol. A day came when there was a knock on the front door. 11 year old Adeline answered to find an auror on their door mat. Demond invited the Auror in and sent Adeline to her room, but she listened from her bedroom, her door ajar as their voices carried down the hallway. Their father was dead, murdered by their mother, who she was arrested, having confessed when authorities caught up with her a mere hour later at her local pub. Adeline missed her parents a little, and she shed a tear or two for her loss, but she knew she was better off with her brothers. Demond saw them all off to Hogwarts and her other two brothers looked after her the whole train journey to the castle. Adeline was sorted into Ravenclaw, just like her brothers, and they cheered louder than anyone else in the hall that night. As she grew older, her brothers did not become any less protective, in fact they got worse, they were all hyper-protective of her and it made dating a nightmare. No one was good enough, no one survived meeting her brothers, every boy she ever introduced them to was scared off. So Adeline reported to sneaking out and dating behind her brothers backs. She fell in love a few times but there was only one that stole her heart. After two years of dating he proposed and it became time to tell her brothers. Not one of them was impressed but it didn't matter, the wedding was planned. A month before she was married Adeline discovered she was pregnant. It didn't matter, she wanted to start a family right away so the news was good for both her and her future husband. They were married and then 8 months later they welcomed their beautiful Juno into the world. After Juno they had three more daughters, all sorted into Ravenclaw like them, and growing into beautiful young women. Adeline has a perfect granddaughter who she adores and a son-in-law that she finds wonderful. She's still close to her brothers (they wouldn't have it any other way) and she exceptionally happy with her life. OOC  Play By: Lisa Kudrow Your Alias: Coco!
