Elizabeth grew up never really knowing much of her father. He would travel a lot for work and she would be left with her mother. She was an only child but she was doted on and adored. At the age of eleven she was off to Hogwarts where she was sorted into Gryffindor. She was a smart child with a mean right hook. She didn't take anyone's nonsense and she was never afraid to stand her grounds and fight for what she believed to be right. She was quite self-centred but regardless, she managed to make a couple of friends. After Hogwarts Elisabeth never married. She wasn't interested in taking a man's name. This infuriated her father but Elisabeth stood her ground, she was the stubborn sort and there wasn't anyone that could make her do something she didn't want to do. She lived a frivolous lifestyle, drinking until she passed out, sleeping with whomever took her fancy, and spending her family’s wealth without a second thought. This lifestyle led her to meet one Jonathan Kane in a tavern. Was it a chance meeting? No, Jonathan had sought her out. He’d stalked her a while and finally he took the plunge, he engaged with her, bought her drinks and charmed the hell out of her. He met her every night for a week before she agreed to meet him in a more secluded location. When Elisabeth got to the old barn on the Whitman farm, she was coaxed in by the seductive voice of Jonathan. She stepped into the run down barn to see her father tied to a post. The door shut behind her and Jonathan came out from behind the post her father was tied to. Naturally Elisabeth was confused and tried to rush to help her father, but someone came behind her at lightning fast speed, took her wand and forced her to her knees. Elisabeth was close enough to really see her father and he was bruised and bloody. She was completely unsure of what to do or what was going on, Jonathan seemed to be speaking without much pause. He accused her father of killing his kind and Elisabeth was at a loss. Before Elisabeth knew it, Jonathan was at her side, pulling her up by her hair. Any other time Elisabeth would have loved it, but she could hear her blood pumping in her ears. Two seconds later and she felt the sharp dig of teeth in her neck. Time passed but Elisabeth wasn’t sure how much. She awoke in almost complete darkness but her eyes sensitive to the naked flames that lit the room, highlighting her father’s features. He had different wounds, his older ones healing, and he looked as though life was draining from him - no, not looking, smelling. Elisabeth could smell that his end was near and it made her hungrier than she ever had been in her life. She pulled herself to her feet and her body just seemed so agile. Within seconds she was tearing apart her father’s throat, drinking his life essence. It’s hard to be mad at a man that gave you a new lease on life, well, death. Elisabeth has been circling the world for nearly 350 years, travelling, doing as she pleases. She’s currently back in the UK but at least she’s vegan, or at least as vegan as a vampire can get.
