He was bright and opinionated from an early age, but always showed a desire to help others. When he went off to Hogwarts at age 11, he was sorted into Gryffindor. He worked hard and focused on his studies, often finding himself the subject of bullying by more insecure students that wished him to stop raising his hand during lessons or asking questions that would encourage the professors to extend their lectures instead of focusing on independent work. Having been picked on himself, Nigel did not like to see others being bullied and would often stand up for the smaller or quieter students, often taking the brunt of the bully’s misdirected anger which had been the point of his interfering in the first place. After graduation, Nigel studied abroad and eventually ended up in his father’s home country of France where he took on a position at the Wizarding Hospital. After meeting Harvey, the couple decided to move to England where Nigel had been offered a position at St Mungo’s. Harvey took a position with a publisher in Diagon Alley.
