Her happiest memory is with her sisters and brothers; playing as children, talking as teenagers and reuniting as adults. Giselle Evelyn Dara was the third born daughter, and fourth child over all, for the Dara family. A wealthy family with roots in India, France and Greece, Giselle grew up travelling the world. She was very close with her siblings, her younger brother Ruben most of all. He was two years younger than her but they meshed well and rarely ever had a disagreement. He was like her shadow. Giselle, was close with all her siblings, she was the one everyone got on with, probably because she was appeasing, she didn't like to cause waves and she couldn't stand arguing. Whenever her siblings would fight she would keep way out of the way, whenever someone needed help, she was there for them. Giselle was off to Hogwarts when she was eleven and she was sorted into Hufflepuff. She was a clam and quiet individual at first, she mostly kept to herself. She didn't like to cause any waves and she was definitely what you might call a 'pushover'. There were a couple of girls that would bully her if they ever caught her alone, but mostly Giselle spent time with her friends or family, so never really thought much of the bullying, after all, didn't everyone have their own demons to face? Around her fourth year, Giselle really grew into her body and she noticed that she was being noticed. Boys started making brief conversation with her and their eyes were certainly directed to places other than her face. Giselle's older sister, Vivienne, who was the year above, encouraged Giselle to lean into it. V introduced Giselle to the world of makeup and fashion, she would dress Giselle and do her makeup, she taught her how to do her hair and the whole experience brought out an entirely new side of Giselle that had never been seen before. Yes, at first, she was a little awkward, she felt like an imposter in her own skin, but after a while she loved dressing up and putting on her face. She found it fun to flirt with boys. Nearer the end of her fourth year she had her first kiss with one of the cutest guys in the school and Giselle felt as though she was walking on clouds, although the next day she came crashing down when the same boy wouldn't even acknowledge her. Naturally she cried to Vivienne and she was a marvellous comfort and taught Giselle that she was worth more Ethan what any boy thought of her. She built Giselle's confidence up so high that no one could possibly knock it down. Giselle certainly gained more confidence in her final years and after graduating she was at a loss for what to do for a job. He sister Sylvie got her a job in the ministry, just working the desk in the Atrium, but it was something. Giselle was happy with her job and her life, things went smoothly for her. At the age of 22 she was approached by a gentleman calling himself Art Von Toussel. He claimed to be a photographer and convinced her to go to dinner with him. During dinner he somehow managed to convince Giselle to be a model for him the following day. She was young, guidable, and head over heels in love with the idea of being so pretty that someone would pay her to model. The following day Giselle went along to model. She had been excited and nervous, only mentioning to her sisters what she was doing, although they didn't like the idea of her going somewhere at dusk for a photoshoot. She convinced her sisters that Art was nothing but a gentleman and hoped she'd set their minds at ease. That was certainly something she should not have done. Upon her arrival, Giselle noticed these was the only thing lit. It was grey with an alter. Candles and demonic sigils all around. Giselle's nervous excitement faded and her gut kicked in, telling her something wasn't right. Art greeted her and charmed her with his smile. Giselle tried to tug her coat a little closer as she tried to look about the dark studio but Art pulled her coat from her so swiftly and smoothly it seemed effortless. Giselle looked about more noticeably, looking to the windows and realising they were all blocked. Art purred in her ear and she was like butter. She didn't worry about the windows and he had her taking her clothes off, slipping into a costume for the shoot. He told her he was going to just tie her to the alter, but showed how it was all pretend, she could pull away any second she was uncomfortable. Art tied himself there first, pulled away with ease and Giselle smiled, feeling like a fool for doubting a perfectly charming gentleman. She took a gulp and allowed Art to tie her to the alter, the ropes pinching at her wrists. From out of the shadows came a figure. Larger than Art and with darker features. His eyes looked practically black while his skim was as pale as the moon. Giselle tugged gently at the binds to make sure she could pull away if she wanted, but they held her in place, instead pinching more at the flesh of her wrists. She tugged harder as the dark figure approached her, Art's camera started flashing. Giselle looked about but couldn't see Art behind the camera. She looked to the other man that was slowly coming towards her and she started struggling more, knocking things over on the alter, starting to scream as she couldn't break free. It seemed like forever and no time at all that the man was on top of her. The bulbs of the lights kept flashing as Art continued to take pictures while Giselle screamed and struggled against a stranger. The door was knocked down and all at once ten people were in the room. The man attacking her took a spell to the back and collapsed on top of her. She heard Art fall to the floor and the room was lit up. She screamed louder than she had ever before, trying to wriggle her body out from under the monster on top of her. She unbound and taken to St Mungo's as a precaution. Once she was checked over she was questioned about the evening. Once the Aurors were done with her, her sisters Sylvie and Vivienne came into the room she was in and wrapped her up tightly in a hug. She wept and she wept, losing all track of time. Her sisters took her to Sylvie's place and stayed with her all night long. Giselle left her work, quitting to find herself something else. She sold her apartment and found herself another home. She was done wither old life, her old habits. She changed everything from her hair to her favourite restaurants, everything about her old routine was gone. She was fortunate enough that she fell into a job at Lestrange Industries. She worked the front desk for a while and worked her way up to being Rodolphus Lestrange's personal assistant. Recently Giselle started dating a guy she's met through friends a couple of times. She's not been big on the whole dating front since her incident, but she will give love a chance if she can. She's very optimistic that she'll find 'the one' and that she'll someday settle down and have a family of her own, but her dating life isn't a priority and quite often she'll push away boyfriends just as they start getting close to her. She always passes it off as them not being right for her and ignoring that she may have issues from what happened to her years ago. She uses confidence to push people away if she feels like they're starting to get too close, even in friendships, and she can act like the worlds biggest bitch if it means protecting herself. There are few friends that know about what she went through, she's loyal and confides in those she's closest to, but it's hard to get close to her, she hasn't made a new friend in about five years. She's still close with her brother, Ruben, but with what she's gone through she's found herself closest to her sister Vivienne. OOC Play By: Hannah Simone Your Alias: Coco!
