Mirror of Erised: Making enough gold that he and his family never have to worry again about money. Patronus: Horse - When Carol agreed to marry him, when she told him she was pregnant, when Cedric was born. His family <3 Amos Diggory was the fourth of six sons for Polly and Andrew Diggory. Growing up there was. a lot of rough housing and fighting. 6 boys, all pretty close in age was a nightmare. The house was a near constant mess and both his parents worked. Amos was the only one that would tidy up and he hated it, but he hated the mess more. He was always an immaculate person and he shared a bedroom with Jeremiah, possibly the most slobiest of his brothers. Thankfully as each brother went off to Hogwarts, the mess got less and less. When it was Amos' turn to go to Hogwarts, he was sorted into Gryffindor. He liked it, none of his brothers were there. He made friends for life in his year group house and fit in easily. School was like an escape from home, there were more kids at school, but there was also more space and he only had to see his brothers when he wanted to, or if one of them sent him an owl. As much as he loved his brothers, it was really nice just being away from them. Amos loved to be outside and he signed up for Quidditch in his third year, becoming a Chaser for the Gryffindor team. Also in his third year he took Care of Magical Creatures and he fell in love with the subject. He found magical beasts to be a fascinating subject and it helped that he enjoyed being outside, and working with his hands. He knew by his fifth year that his career in life was going to involve magical creatures in someway, and after graduation he joined the Ministry of Magic, working in its department of for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures. Amos met his now wife, Carol, when he was 25. She was 20 and worked in the Ministry. Amos found himself spending more and more time with her, talking about everything he could think of until he finally asked her out on a date. The pair courted for a year before Amos proposed, and she said yes. The pair married and now have an adorable son named Cedric. Amos's wife and son are the absolute lights of his life and there isn't anything he wouldn't do for them, and to do everything he can to ensure his son a bright future, Amos has joined the Order of the Phoenix with some of his good friends from school, knowing that risking his life is worth it for his son to grow up in a just and proper world.
