PERSONALITY Boggart: Lord Voldemort killing Oliver Mirror of Erised: Herself and Oliver on a beach, relaxed, chilled out, having fun in the sun. If she spends long enough in front of the mirror, her sisters, parents, nephews and brother in law join them, too. Patronus: Wolf - Having Oliver. Her promotions. Her family. Storm has always seen herself as a leader. Even before she had siblings she ruled the house. Admittedly she wasn’t an only child for long, but she had a way of getting her parents to do everything she wanted. She’d take control of bedtimes and tell her parents how it should be done. Her father used to replace words in stories with other wors, just to play with her, but it would drive Storm wild. She’d loudly correct him and make him start the sentence all over again. She’s always been a bit of a perfectionist. She has always prided herself on knowing pretty much everything. If she doesn’t know something then she feels as though there’s a part of her mind missing and so she reads up as much as she can to learn about it. She knows that she’ll never know everything the world has to offer, but she’ll damn well try her best to learn as much as humanly possible, especially with anything relative to her own life. With a brite smile and the ability to befriend a troll, Storm has many friends from all walks of life and she’s always willing to do all that she can to help them out if they need her, even to the point that she’ll forget to look after herself. Frequently her sisters have had to physically sit her down and make her rest. Isla makes her soup, Lula looks after Oliver and Rissa provides as many books as Storm can read. Storm would do anything for her family, she sees herself as the leader in some (*cough* many *cough*) ways but without her family she knows that she would be lost. They support her and lift her up and she does all that she can to return the favour. Sometimes Storm has been known to let her ego get the best of her. She can be demanding of her colleagues but it’s always to ensure the best possible outcomes. She strives for perfection from herself and her department. The Department of Mysteries is complex, but Storm knows the ins and outs of it better than anyone else and while it may make her seem like a witch-bitch boss from hell at times, she’s also very aware that everyone not only deserves but needs a work/home life balance, so if she catches you working too much, she’ll make sure to send you home to rest. Or so Storm likes to believe. She was the first born child of Mr and Mrs Wood. Four girls, not a single heir, and the couple could not have been more proud or happy. The Wood family was one of love, joy and support, even through the occasionally tricky teenage years. Storm, being the eldest of four daughters, always felt that somehow it was her job to protect her younger sisters. She was always thinking of others ahead of herself and always gave herself more responsibility than she should have, which made leaving for Hogwarts without her sisters an incredibly difficult thing to do. She tasked each of them with looking out for one another and while she was fully prepared to be homesick, she found she absolutely loved her Hogwarts life! She made friends, she flirted, she had an on again, off again romance and then she graduated with some spectacular grades! After school she worked as an intern at the Ministry before talking her way into a position as an Unspeakable - which also required a lot of hard work she’d like you to know. She was there, working in the Department of Mysteries in the Death Chamber for 9 years, flitting between departments and learning about all of them for another three years before she was promoted to Head of the Department of Mysteries three years ago. While her work life has been pretty straight forward and full of rewards, her personal life has been up and down and all around. Thankfully it has had its rewards, too. She met a man, an Auror. They had an on again, off again relationship resulting in a long time off. His name was Hunter Wolfson, he’d become an Auror after he’d finished school and it wasn’t always easy for him to connect to other people. He’d had a turbulent home life and his problems were only exacerbated by his career. When she was 29 she called it quits - for good. What Storm didn’t realise at the time was that she was pregnant. Storm decided her pregnancy didn’t change things. She was done with Hunter who quit working at the Ministry and she hasn’t seen him since. Storm was certain she was having a girl and picked out the name ‘Olive’. When her baby was born she was so surprised to have a little boy but she still loved the name Olive so called her son Oliver.
