PERSONALITY Boggart: Ted and Dora laying dead in front of her. Mirror of Erised: Living a comfortable life with Ted and Dora, not having to worry about the next bill, able to take Dora out on a whim rather than having to save or just go to the local park. Patronus: Dove - it would probably just look like a generic bird or a pigeon, but what better animal than the bird representative of peace? When Andromeda became a mother. Supportive and friendly Andromeda is a lovely person, although she wasn’t exactly always so nice. She used to hold pureblooded views that fit in with her family’s way of life, that was until she met one Ted Tonks. She is an incredibly forgiving individual but that was a learned trait, something she picked up from Ted. He taught her more compassion than she’d ever been capable of and as a result she became what she believes is a better person because of it. Ted has always been patient and kind with her, even when she hasn’t deserved it and honestly, without Ted in her life, she would have been a completely different person. Still as bold as ever, Andromeda is a firm individual but she’s more empathetic and loving. She’s always had a compassionate streak but it had always been strictly reserved for her close loved ones, her sisters, and when they were born, her cousins. She has always put the needs of her loved ones before her own, however back in her own school days she wouldn’t have bothered paying much attention to anyone that didn’t fit into her social circle and even those “friends” she didn’t really bother getting to know. She wasn’t as much of a bitch as Bella, when it came to school, but she could certainly. Even now, despite the changes to her life and personality, she still holds her judgements. During her school days Andromeda dated a couple of guys here and there, having an on again, off again sort of relationship with another pureblood, one her family definitely would have approved of, and a short lived, three month experience with another pureblood her parents would have approved of. Beyond that, and Ted, she’s never dated anyone else and Ted is the only one she’s actually been in love with. Friends aren’t many, after she chose Ted over her family she became cut off from that side of life. Her friends were all the types of people she used to be and while some days she’s glad not to be with them, she occasionally finds she misses the company, but Ted and Nymphadora are more than enough for her and if she fancies and in-depth political discussion with someone other than her husband, then there’s always the bagging lady at the supermarket, right?! They'd already had one daughter and then another followed. Andromeda was not who her parents had wanted but then neither was Bellatrix and in turn, neither was Narcissa. Three girls and not a single son. It was quite a spectacle in the pureblooded society but nevertheless, Andromeda's aunt Walburga someday went on to have two sons, until then the Black family was without a legitimate heir. Growing up was fun with her sisters. Bella was always the bossy one and Narcissa was the baby. Being the middle child meant that Andromeda was forever keeping the peace, it was just in her nature to do so. She never liked to see either of her sisters upset and would often sacrifice her own happiness for that of her sisters. Giving up her scoop of ice cream so Cissa would have more and be happy, letting Bella lead in dances, even though she was the superior dancer and Bellatrix was mediocre at best, but Bella always had to believe she was the best, at everything, and so Andromeda would let her have that. Raised as a proper pureblooded daughter, Andromeda was given the best tutors in everything you could imagine. When it was time to go to Hogwarts she was sorted into Slytherin like her big sister. At first there was a lot of interest in her, she was Bella’s sister, however she wasn’t anywhere near as commanding as her sister and so people drifted away from her and Andromeda found herself with a good set of friends. Being a proper little pureblood, Andromeda was always under the impression that because of her bloodline, she was special, better than those of lesser blood, but that was challenged when she met a muggleborn wizards at school that was a couple years above her, named Ted. Ted Tonks. It took a little while but he won her over. He was friendly and funny despite her turned up nose - quite often literally at times. He was persistent in getting to know her and eventually she couldn’t help it, she fell in love with him, but it wasn’t until she was graduated that they went on a date. Less than a month after graduation and Andromeda ran in to Ted Tonks. He convinced her to a date and things happened really fast. One minute they’re sitting down in a cafe, chatting and laughing, then next their married with a seven year old! Of course it wasn’t that easy. Andromeda announced to her family that she was marrying a muggleborn and naturally they were outraged, told her to shape up, that he was beneath her. There were a lot of words exchanged, none more than Bellatrix, but she stood firm and what was more she would stand by Ted. He was her soulmate and she knew it. Threats were made but Andromeda still went ahead with the wedding. Sure enough she head she was blasted from the family tree but it was all worth it. Ted stood by her side, supporting her the entire way. Andromeda is certain she made the right choice in life. Ted’s not a rich man, nor did he come from a rich family, but he’s a wonderful husband and together they have an incredibly bright and energetic daughter. Ted has a job at the ministry and Andromeda works as a housekeeper. They’re not rich but what they lack in money, they more than make up for in love. OOC  Play By: Kaya Scodelario Your Alias: Coco!
