Gypsy here is an odd little creature. She only has a few friends, many acquaintances and plenty of people that just think she's a straight up bitch. And it's true, she can often present herself as being a bitch for a number of reasons. She's competitive in learning, she likes to be the best, she studies hard to be as smart as she is and she doesn't want to waste all those hours by sitting quiet, jut waiting idly by while someone else scores house points that could be hers. She can be a feisty one, although that can often be a bad thing because where other people might play, she'll be playing and leave a bit of a sting. She doesn't care about being nice because she doesn't care about people's opinions of her. She has her friends that she would do anything for. At least you know where you stand with Gypsy.

Knowing she's a very attractive girl, Gypsy has never used her looks to get her way or to manipulate a guy, she just simply won't put up with that kind of thing. Other girls may like to do that - good on 'em - but it's not her thing. She's a straight shooter and she's willing to face unpopular opinions about herself for telling it like it is. There's no point beating around the bush if you need or want to tell her something, either. Stutter about too much or take up too much of her time for nothing and she'll be pissy with you and honestly, she has looks that could kill.

She's certainly not against dating. Gypsy has had a few boyfriends in the past but they've always seemed too immature for her tastes so she's never focused much time or energy into the relationships. She tells herself that she'd rather study and focus on her future career than date for the sake of dating, but of someone with some actual potential came along then she'd certainly be up for a bit of fun. She can be wild when she lets her hair down and she's not afraid to party.

Gyspy was the second born child, but first born daughter, of Nubia and Giles Lovell, a mismatched couple that squabbled and argued their way into a loving relationship. It wasn’t always easy growing up with such passionate parents, but the second things seemed to be going too far south was the second the family moved. Nubia was strong and independent. She hated having to rely on Giles for anything. She came from a pureblooded family of good wealth and many daughters that were happy to see her marry for love. Giles came from a muggle mother and a half-blood father that struggled to get by some weeks, but they always had love and Gypsy grew up spending a lot of time around her grandparents on her father’s side while her mother’s parents remained in Egypt, visiting on occasions.

Gypsy loves her family with her whole heart and would do anything for them. She wasn’t a the only daughter for long because when she was one years old, her younger sister joined her. A couple more years went by and then they were joined by her youngest sister and their family was complete. Giles and Nubia wanted no more children and that was fine for Gypsy because as much as she loved her siblings, the squabbles between her parents and the squabbles between her siblings could often become a bit much.

With the choice of attending Uagadou like her mother or Hogwarts like her father, Gypsy followed in her brother’s footsteps and chose Hogwarts, after all they did spend most of their time in the UK. Gyspy’s sisters also attended Hogwarts but Nubia insisted that they also try and learn wandless magic where they could. She never had a wand, her family never had wands and she wanted for her children to know wandless magics too, although Gypsy finds using a wand far easier.

Sorted into Gryffindor Gypsy has been a pretty good student. She tries hard to get the best grades she can and she’ll often do anything she has to. She realised pretty early on in her school days that she would rub people the wrong way and so she never really made too many friends. She learnt that people would talk about her behind her back and often say unkind and untrue things but it helped her to weed out the people she didn’t want in her life anyway. She’s built a tough outer shell over the years and won’t be kept down.
