Keeping Life Simple Liv happily left Jazzy to go and get her broom, and went back to the front desk where she'd left her bag for safe keeping. She thanked the librarian for being so helpful, and headed out of the library with a smile on her face. She loved the feeling of still knowing her way around the castle, even though it had been a few years now since she'd graduated. That sense that she would always know the castle, always be able to find her way to any part of it that she needed - probably even blindfolded - was just lovely. It was like coming home. Though less messy than her actual home, which was full of clutter and random pieces of art that she had no real place for yet. She would get around to organizing it sooner or later, but she was just too darn busy with work lately to get a minute to herself. If she wasn't working for Pur, she was doing freelance jobs for extra money and extra exposure in the photography world. At least Meg's little doggy corner was tidy, and wasn't that the most important thing? Wondering how her pup was getting on at home alone for a few hours, she skipped down the staircases, changing routes every now and then as they moved and shifted beneath her feet, but eventually she made it to the entrance hall and then out onto the grounds. It was still sunny enough for her to need to squint against the light, and she used her camera as a shield, snapping pictures of the sunkissed grounds as she made her way to the Quidditch pitch to wait for Jazzy. It was deserted, and she was glad, because Livvi immediately went to the locker rooms and used her wand to get in, helping herself to a school broom and taking it back outside with her. There was no way she would be keeping her feet on the ground for these photos. She would get much better shots from up in the air. She just hoped she didn't drop her camera along the way. Remaining positive, she waited out in the sun for Jazzy, green eyes heading skywards as she noticed a small blonde figure sailing out of one of the castle windows on a broom. Liv grinned. This kid had style. _______________________ tag: Jasmine Cherry Moon words:: 411 outfit: Getting colder.notes: <3 template by izzy [googlefont="Ruthie"]

Keeping Life Simple Today was turning out to be more successful than she had hoped. Liv was an optimistic person by nature, but she had expected Professors and students alike to be at least a little bit awkward or reluctant to be photographed. So far she had met minimal resistance, and she was feeling more than a little bit confident that her spread was going to be dynamite. It would absolutely make Pur go flying off the shelves with students - and probably Dumbledore - buying multiple copies if they were featured, so that they could give their grandparents, and aunties and uncles, and cousins, and neighbours, and the milkman a copy to frame. It was how teens worked, everything they did tended to be exaggerated, Livvi knew, she had only just stopped being one herself, and was slowly maturing to realise just how daft and over eager she had been on far too many occasions in her school years. At least she was getting better at recognising when she needed to calm down a bit. Working for Pur had done that for her, giving her no choice but to be sensible instead of immature. There was nothing wrong with a bit of silliness, though, even now, and she giggled behind her camera as Jazzy acted her little heart out pretending to reach for a book that was just that tiny bit too far. She was a star, and Livvi told her as much. "I'm so glad I stumbled across you," she said brightly, beckoning Jazzy down from the ladder. "Have you ever considered being a model? You're a natural." There were models in the industry right now that Liv had worked with, and they weren't even half as photogenic as this girl, or able to follow directions. It was silly really, but more often than not, money was the culprit. Their parents flashed it about to get the kids in the door, and then it was up to the photographers to try and work miracles and get something acceptable out of them in the studio. Liv much preferred location shoots to being stuck in a studio, it gave so much more freedom. She tilted her head at Jazzy, adjusting her hat as she did. "Are you free now?" she asked. "I won't be keeping you from doing homework or anything if I drag you out to the Quidditch pitch, will I?"_______________________ tag: Jasmine Cherry Moon words:: 417 outfit: Getting colder.notes: <3 template by izzy [googlefont="Ruthie"]

Keeping Life Simple Liv's ears pricked at the mention of this girl being a Quidditch Captain. Now that would be a great photo opportunity. Liv had asked the headmaster if there were any matches or practices scheduled out on the Quidditch pitch today, but he'd told her there weren't any, and then posed with his phoenix to try and cheer her up. She had to admit, it was a great picture, Fawkes was glowing brilliantly, young and vibrant, and her camera had picked up the oranges and reds in his feathers so wonderfully. Dumbledore hadn't looked too shabby, either, but he always looked a bit naughty and intriguing to Livvi, so it wasn't really a surprise that she got a good snap of him. She had still been disappointed about the lack of flying at the castle today. She adored working on Quidditch matches. Getting those incredible action shots was just such a buzz, and people always loved seeing the pros up close and personal, sweating and intense and gorgeous (mostly) up in the air. It was a popular genre for photography in the wizarding world, but she had resigned herself to not having it included in her spread on Hogwarts. Maybe that might change now, thanks to Jazzy. "I absolutely love your name," Liv gushed, completely genuine as she watched the girl climb the ladder and choose a book. She was snapping away already, you could never really have enough natural shots of someone just going through the motions. "Liv Burke," she introduced herself, having assumed most of the kids would have been told her name when they were told a photographer would be at the castle today. Maybe Jazzy was forgetful. It wasn't important anyway, what was important, was that she looked fabulous up on that ladder. "Can you just lean back and hold on with one hand?" she asked, moving around the foot of the ladder to find the best angle. "Like you're about to fall. Or maybe reaching for a book across the aisle that's too far away. Tip your hair back, too." The directions just flowed out of her without much thought, she did this every day of her life, it was as natural as breathing for her. Click, click, click. She would have at least one or two good shots to choose from. "How would you feel about flying for me?" she asked. _______________________ tag: Jasmine Cherry Moon words:: 413 notes: <3 template by izzy [googlefont="Ruthie"]

Keeping Life Simple "Oh, that is perfect," Livvi crooned as she snapped away, the blonde posing perfectly and seeming all too enthusiastic. Liv should have expected it, really. Teenage girls having their picture taken were usually more than happy to pose their little hearts out, though she had spent her own school years in Slytherin, where at least half of the kids were more likely to punch your lights out than squeal and get excited. It was anyone's guess what you were going to get, and it was also anyone's guess what house this girl was from, since she wasn't wearing her school uniform. She really suited the red top she had on, though, and Liv, if she had to take a stab in the dark, would have guessed Gryffindor or Hufflepuff for such a shiny soul. Then again, Liv had been a shiny soul in the snake house, and she hadn't lost her zest and enthusiasm for life. She really shouldn't judge. She was there to take pictures, not guess houses and stereotype teenagers. She lowered her camera as the girl offered to do a few other poses. "A ladder! Yes!" Livvi beamed, turning this way and that to see if there were any ladders on the shelves nearby. There was one in the next aise over, and she nodded her head to it. "Come on," she grinned at the girl, heading for the ladder and chatting as she went. "Just don't fall off, I've lasted all day so far without causing any trouble, that's a big deal for me." Not that she was a trouble maker, but she wasn't scared to climb walls or trees for the perfect shot, nor was she timid about asking Professor Bones to ride a Hippogriff for her, or any other bold things, for that matter. If you didn't go out on a limb - literally, in the tree climbing sense - you didn't do your best work, and she wasn't great at her job for nothing. She was known for taking leaps of faith, and for being fearless in pursuit of her art. Making teens fall off of ladders didn't really fall under the same category, unfortunately, and definitely came down on the side of dangerous. It would be fine, though. This girl would look lovely up there, and then get straight back down before she could break a limb. _______________________ tag: Jasmine Cherry Moon words:: 410 notes: <3 template by izzy [googlefont="Ruthie"]

Keeping Life Simple Liv's camera was glued to her hand as she stalked through the castle, taking pictures of different areas for her independent project on the magical school, and whichever members of staff would give her permission to photograph them. It was hard, most of them were older and therefore terrified of a camera in case it made them look haggard and wizened, but she had assured them that she would make sure they looked youthful and perfectly lovely if she used their images in her work. Perfectly lovely was really the best she could offer some of them, but there were some professors who really had a knack for posing. She had managed to pull Professor Bones' leg and get him to pose with a Hippogriff. He really looked good through the lens, and then there was Professor Vector, who was just stunning. Livvi had gotten a wonderful natural shot of her teaching a class which she had been hovering at the sidelines of, and she was really happy with the results. She had avoided the Astronomy tower. The new professor was probably freaked out enough with the rumours flying around that the position was cursed, she would leave them to settle in and stop fretting about the possibility of dying next summer. The library was her next stop, and she managed to twist the shy librarian's arm and get a few snaps of her at the main desk. It was a shame for a woman so beautiful to be so shy and reserved, but she had opened up a bit thanks to Liv basically being a chatterbox and not shutting up, and the two women were laughing together as Miss Drake gave Liv permission to nose around the library and take some more pictures as she liked. The library was amazing, high ceilings, dark woods, roaring fireplaces staving off the new autumn chill that was creeping into the castle. She had shot the backs of a group of students sitting near a fire, their heads buried in books, and then ventured into the aisles to capture particles of dust swirling in the air near the windows. She turned into the next isle, silent as a ghost, snapping away at anything that caught her eye. A blonde girl was perusing the Potions section, the light from the nearby window shining perfectly on her pale hair, and Livvi paused. "Hi, can you... Do you mind just turning this way a bit and holding that book up just a few more inches?" she asked, using her finger to indicate a turning motion. She would have gone over and moved the girl into position herself, but that might have gotten her into trouble, it wasn't very professional. She hoped the blonde would be compliant. _______________________ tag: Jasmine Cherry Moon words:: 477 notes: <3 template by izzy [googlefont="Ruthie"]

Only Skin Deep Lilith completely ignoring Liv's teasing about having a dog at the wedding was just the reaction Livvi had expected. She often wondered how she had managed to turn out so... normal. Her family were lovely people, warm, loving, generous, those things had definitely been passed on to their youngest daughter, but Liv quite often thought that she should have turned out more like Lilith or Lyra. More of a snob, to put it bluntly, more elegant and ladylike. She could be those things when she needed to, like right now, her posture was perfect, there was never a hint of a wobble on her heels, and she was nothing but respectful to the staff whilst still making it clear that she was above them. It was how they'd all been raised, but behind closed doors, or surrounded by friends, Liv just couldn't keep it up. She dropped all hints of her class and wore short shorts and bikini tops climbing mountains, or roughing it in a tent in some forest somewhere. She almost snorted at the thought of Lilith camping, again, not very ladylike, but she held the snort in and carried on perusing the clothes. "I think I'd look great in lime," she said, peeking over her shoulder to give a very serious nod. She would. Meg wouldn't, she had this shade of fur that was not golden, like her golden retriever status hinted at, but more gingery. She would look hideous in lime, but then she wouldn't be at the wedding, she would be in some lovely doggie parlour for the night, playing and being pampered by people who would treat her better than their own kids. Liv hung a pale pink skirt back on the rail and moved over to a cushy looking pouffe, sinking down onto it and looking to her sisters. "So are you two trying anything on, or are we just going to wander about in here all day to stay out of the cold?" she asked, wondering if the girls were just lingering because it was warm and pretty in here and they were being offered champagne. She wouldn't judge them for it, but Liv didn't mind the cold, and there were other shops to be explored. Time was ticking and nobody was heading into a changing room any time soon. _______________________ tag: Lilith A. C. Only Skin Deep Livvi actually thought she'd get away with lime. On holiday once she'd had a lime coloured bikini and it had looked quite fruity and tropical on her tanned skin. She also tended to get away with other bold colours like yellows and oranges, her mother always told her it was because she was bold spirited herself, but Livvi just figured that she was destined to be loud and proud, even in appearance. She wasn't supposed to be ignored. She didn't enjoy the spotlight quite like Lyra, no, Liv's kind of attention grabbing was more in the chatty and friendly kind of vein. She got on with people, it's just the way she had always been, and she had a zest for life that couldn't be ignored. That was the word. Zesty. She was a zesty person in every way. Probably too zesty for the black silk jumpsuit that her hand plucked from another rail as she passed. It would look stunning on Lilith, but Liv placed it back on the rail and carried on her search. "Really, though," she brushed Lilith's kidding about the lime off. "You need to get a move on deciding what you want, winter will come around quickly and there's nothing worse than panic buying at the last minute." That was a complete lie. Livvi loved last minute buys. She usually managed to find some fabulous pieces when she'd rushed into a shop a few hours before she was meant to be going on a night out, and she loved the thrill of knowing she'd have to find something fast or end up in a right pickle. She took a glass of champagne from the tray the shop assistant had brought out for them and sipped politely on it, not really in the mood for drinking. Lilith had ignored the woman, and Lyra asked for a room to try on the small mountain of clothes she was collecting as she browsed. Livvi was torn. She hadn't really found anything she wanted to try on. Maybe she'd be better as a spectator, a supporter, someone to say yay or nay to the things her sisters tried on. She didn't doubt that they'd look stunning in everything they tried, but they could always count on her for an honest opinion. She was known for being the kinder of the Burkes, but she still had a blunt way about her, especially with her siblings. "Any chance I can sneak Meg in if I promise she'll be good?" she queried over her shoulder, thinking her puppy would definitely not be getting an invite to the wedding. _______________________ tag: Lilith A. Starlight New Year And bump and grind, they did. Oliver was a pretty good mover, and Liv's hips swayed to the rhythm as she allowed herself to have a little fun with the youngest Devereaux brother. She might have had ulterior motives of helping him get closer to a hot blonde he'd been oogling, but she could definitely enjoy his hands at her waist as they moved together. He was gorgeous, if he hadn't been interested in someone else she'd have flirted with him, but she'd rather play matchmaker. There was nothing like seeing two people hitting it off when she'd been the one to introduce them or encourage it, it was fun, and she also got to know the details. Gossip about people's love lives wasn't something to turn your nose up at. She didn't really know Oliver well enough to deserve that kind of information about his world, though, so she'd settle for just giving him a nudge in the right direction. Or being his wing woman, as he called it. Grinning her dazzling grin, she rested her hands on his shoulders as the song changed to a slower tempo, impressed that his hands were in a respectable spot on her back, and not headed south for a feel. She'd find someone to head south with later tonight, but for now, she was happy to be right where she was. "Wing woman. Matchmaker. I'm your gal," she replied happily, trying to give Ollie her full attention but failing to stop herself from peering over his shoulder at Dora and Kit. "I think Dora has a teeny thing for your brother," she laughed, gently steering herself and Oliver in the direction of the mystery blonde as she talked. They were only a few feet away now, and her green eyes found his. "Thanks for the dance, Devereaux," she said with a wink, her hands moving down to the tops of his arms. Without warning, she spun him around so he was facing the table the blonde was wiggling her cute butt at, and gave him a shove hard enough to make him knock into her. "Oh, I'm so sorry!" she declared loudly. "I'm so clumsy! I'm just gonna... go..." She bit her lip to hide a devilish grin, and left Ollie to his fate with the hot chick, weaving her way through the crowds where she would undoubtedly either find someone else she knew, or find a complete stranger to get to know better for the night. Livvi never had trouble surviving at social gatherings. _______________________ tag: Echo Arista Everwood, @oli , Euphadora Rose Parkinson , Christopher Erebus Devereaux and everyone! notes: Livvi signing out for the night! <3 outfit: Silver stunner! template by izzy[googlefont="Ruthie"]

Starlight New Year The boys welcomed Liv and Dora quite warmly, and she was surprised to see Kit's face light up a bit at the presence of their raven friend. Dora had that effect on people. Liv knew the tiny girl could be annoying at times, it was understandable, but Liv never found her annoying at all, and seeing how the likes of more uptight people even welcomed her company (at first) only reminded Liv why she valued Dora's friendship so much. She was lovable, and effortlessly so, everywhere she went she could make a friend without even trying, and it was just amazing to watch. There was a rather large smile on the blonde's face as she listened to the conversation flow, blinking in surprise when Oliver asked for another picture and her camera was floated from her grasp. She fought the urge to snatch it out of the air and cradle it like a baby, feeling more than a little bit worried for it's safety, but then it was being controlled by an Auror, someone who was highly trained with his wand - oh, how she imagined his wand work to be bloody incredible - so it was probably silly to worry too much. She narrowed her eyes at Kit. "Drop it and you're in trouble," she muttered at him, hiding the mild threat beneath the veil of a humorous smile. She squeezed into shot with an adorable grin just as the flash went off, and immediately moved back to her pride and joy to tuck it safely back into her tiny purse, winking at Dora as she asked for a copy of the picture. "I'll send you all a copy," she nodded, "Yours will be framed, and poster sized." Her subtle teasing wouldn't go unnoticed by Dora, who blatantly fancied the pants off of Kit, but she hoped the Devereaux brothers would be oblivious to the meaning behind her words, though by the way Dora was draping herself over the Auror, it probably wouldn't be hard to guess. Oliver, on the other hand, had eyes for someone else. A cute wiggling butt across the room, and everyone noticed him staring. Liv laughed, agreeing with Dora that she was happy to dance. "Come on, Oliver," she said, linking her arm through his and pulling him towards the dance floor. "Let's see if we can bump and grind our way closer to the hottie you're drooling over." She gave him a knowing grin and stopped her tugging of him not far from the small blonde, beginning to dance to the music that was keeping everyone in good spirits, and leaving Kit in the clutches of Dora. Even if Dora didn't get her dance, Liv was happy to have a quick spin with Oliver. _______________________ tag: @oli , Christopher Erebus Devereaux , Euphadora Rose Parkinson and everyone! notes: <3 outfit: Silver stunner! template by izzy[googlefont="Ruthie"]

Only Skin Deep The sisters made their way down the busy street to Fifth Element, one of the classier stores for clothing, which was only fitting for the likes of the Burke's. Livvi wasn't completely opposed to shopping in smaller shops, and she had even been known to pick up a good vintage piece or two, but she much preferred the quality of clothes you got in places like this. It was what they were used to, if nothing else, and habits were hard to break, not that Liv would ever want to break the habit of looking great. The house elf that greeted them once they stepped inside the warm building was buried under their coats, and Liv was relieved to get rid of her fur cloak for a while, as freezing as it was outside, it was like a toasty oven in here, and she embraced the warmth, missing the summer and the sun and her usual tropical birthdays. She didn't mind any of the seasons, really, but she had a fondness for heat and far away places with hot sands and hotter people all wearing next to nothing. She definitely wouldn't be wearing next to nothing at Lilith's wedding to Rabastan Lestrange. It was set for next winter, and as the topic was brought up by Lyra, she found herself imagining the types of dresses they might end up wearing as Lilith's bridesmaids. Probably something with a fur stole or something, which she found a bit cliche, but she'd go with it for her big sister. They hadn't even looked at dresses for that yet, but there was plenty of time for that, and likely plenty more shopping trips much like this one, only where they were told what to take into the changing rooms to try on, rather than being able to pick whatever they wanted. Like the gorgeous jade green blouse she had just spotted swishing about on a moving mannequin. She crossed the room to admire it, wondering what she could wear it with and then turning as a peach dress caught her eye hanging on one of the rails. She went to run a hand over it as she added her two pence to the conversation. "Have you also thought any more on magically cloning me for the day so that I can take all your pictures, too?" she chirped, joking, of course. She'd much rather be a bridesmaid than a photographer at her sister's wedding, it was a far more important role, but she knew nobody would take the same kind of stunning shots as she would, and it hurt to know her sister would have to go for second best and get someone else to do the job. She held the peach dress up in front of herself and peered in a mirror. Nope. _______________________ tag: Lilith A. C. Only Skin Deep Liv's eyes nearly bulged out of her head at Lilith's teasing. "Quidditch team!?" she squeaked. "For me!?" Her small questions were followed by a good dose of excited squealing, her drink sloshing about precariously inside it's cup. Being in charge of a shoot of hot Quidditch players meant she'd get to have them all half naked while she oogled them through the lens if she wanted to. It sounded so perverted but so good. If she ended that shoot without one of those guys giving her his number, she'd eat grass, and she was already imagining which players she fancied and how good they'd be in bed. If her coffee didn't warm her up, those thoughts sure would, and she bit her lip as she allowed herself to get lost for a moment while Lilith talked about clothes and which shops she wanted to go to. She was snapped out of her naughty imaginings when Lyra patted her hand and insisted they were always on their best behaviour. Liv grinned at the hushed end to her sisters declaration. Yes, being well behaved in public was somewhat of a necessity, but behind closed doors Liv didn't class herself as anything like the lady she was forced to pretend to be. She felt like one of those lame muggle superheroes with a secret identity. Lady Burke by day, Adventure Woman by night. Only she didn't really want to compare herself to something so... Muggle. She gave a tug on Lyra's arm and headed down the street in the direction of Fifth Element, which did usually have some nice things, though she liked the sound of the new collection Whipford's had in. "Link up, ladies," she piped up, nodding to Lyra to grab a hold of Lilith with her free hand, ever the middle child, literally stuck in the middle of Miss Perfect and the Wild Child even just to walk down the street. They turned heads, three beautiful blondes strutting down the street looking like they'd just stepped off of the runway, noses in the air as though they were better than everyone because, oh wait... they were better than everyone. It was a lovely ideal, and living it just for one walk down a busy street was fun. The cup of coffee in her hand was the only thing to shatter the image, and so she drank down the last of it before they reached Fifth Element, knowing it wouldn't be allowed inside anyway. She tossed it into a bin as she passed, without breaking formation, and checked with her now free hand that her hair was still pinned up in place. _______________________ tag: Lilith A. C. Starlight New Year Liv's sparkling pink lips curved into a smile at the thought of Dora being her sister. "I've put in so many good words for you, but he's stubborn as a mule," she played along with a heavy sigh. "There's always Lysander," she added as an afterthought. "Younger men are fine, right? I'll set you two up once he graduates in the summer." She would do no such thing. Well, she actually would if Dora seemed to like the idea, Sandy was as gorgeous as Loosh and as the baby of the family, had no pressures on him to marry and start a family just yet, Dora Burke would have a lovely ring to it. And her finger would certainly have a more than lovely ring to it if it was coming from the Burke fortune. Dora's delicate fingers were wrapped around Livvi's wrist as they ventured into the crowds, and the blonde allowed herself to be led towards Kit and his brother, expression one of skepticism at Dora's plans to get the Auror to dance with her. "Getting him on the dance floor and getting him to actually dance are two completely different things, honey," she shook her head, not at all convinced that Kit would dance with Dora for even half a second. As they approached the table, Liv gave the brothers a closer look. Kit was wearing red tonight, and it really suited him, gave him a bit of an exotic look about him, with the almost black hair and crazy green-gold eyes. He was just insanely good looking. His brother, on the other hand, had hair that you just wanted to pull, eyes like rich dark chocolate and an air of freedom about him that was in complete contrast to the stick that was always shoved up his brother's arse. They were both as beautiful as each other. Dora introduced them, but Liv already kind of knew Oliver from school, they had all been in the same year after all, and she was sure they'd exchanged polite smiles across the hallways at one point or other, but a fresh introduction was nice, since school had been a good while ago for them all now. "Devereaux," she offered Kit a dazzling smile, turning the same grin onto Oliver. "Devereaux," she chuckled at her own greeting, happy to take a back seat as Dora flourished in the spotlight. Livvi was a sociable creature, but Dora shone when she was out and about with people to charm, it was one of Liv's favourite things about the raven haired beauty. Using the moment, she slipped her hand inside her purse and pulled out her camera, taking a snap of Dora with the boys, her dress glittering in the lights from the chandeliers. _______________________ tag: Euphadora Rose Parkinson and everyone! notes: <3 outfit: Silver stunner! template by izzy[googlefont="Ruthie"]

Starlight New Year Liv raised her eyebrows at Dora saying how if anyone in her family had claim over Fin, it was her. She was right, of course, but it was amusing to hear her say it. The pair were close, and honestly, Liv didn't have a clue why Fin and Dora hadn't tried to spark some kind of romance in their relationship before. She knew they'd kissed a few times, she'd even been there once in the Slytherin common room during a game of truth or dare. That was the perk of growing up with your cousin and being the same age as them, you got to see all parts of their life and comment on it, too. She had commented plenty of times on Fin and Dora, but she knew it was falling on deaf ears, they just simply weren't into each other like that, and that was fine. It was nice to hear Dora airing her little possessive streak, though, very cute. "I don't know," she said in a teasing tone, "they look quite cozy down there."It was all a show, she knew that, her cousin wouldn't go there with someone who was still at school, but her green eyes were riveted as she watched Fin begin to dance with Jovi, blatantly flirting and trying to make her boyfriend jealous. It really was great entertainment. "Oh, she knows I love her shows," Liv gave a shake of her head and a shrug at Dora's teasing about Lyra being angry if she could hear her now. "She also knows I have the worst attention span, that's why I like to photograph her performances instead of just sitting in the audience. Gives me something to to do during the boring bits." At least she was honest about it, Liv got bored easily, but as long as she had her camera, she was fine, it was almost like a comfort thing for her these days, and she felt naked without it. Her hand gripped her bag a little bit tighter, as though she could feel the device through the material, even though she couldn't, as she followed Dora down the stairs carefully. "No, they're all elsewhere tonight," she answered Dora's query about her siblings, trying not to shout but still needing to be heard over the music as the two girls traveled down the stairs to the dance floor. "Someone from the family needed to come and give Fin some support, so I dodged the stuffy events and got the golden ticket to come here instead," she grinned, genuinely believing herself to have had a lucky escape to avoid having to to go to any boring pureblood parties. This was infinitely more fun already. Liv's eyes landed on tall, hot, and grumpy from the ministry as he entered the club, and she nudged Dora. "Isn't that your really cute, moody friend over there?" she asked, nodding across the crowded club to the Auror, who looked like he'd just been kicked in the nuts and had his puppy stolen all at once. _______________________ tag: Euphadora Rose Parkinson and everyone! notes: <3 outfit: Silver stunner! template by izzy[googlefont="Ruthie"]

Only Skin Deep Lilith asked about the Larson shoot, and Liv's face dropped, lip curling, disappointment in her usually expressive eyes. "Larson cancelled, so I thought I'd make up for the huge gap it created in my purse by treating myself to some shopping therapy." She paused, realising that trying to make up for a loss of money by spending money wasn't actually logical in any way, shape, or form. "Pretend that makes sense," she said, waving a dismissive hand at her words and sipping her oh so warm drink again. She didn't know why Lilith was suddenly keeping track of her work now, she'd never been one for obsessing over schedules herself, so why on earth she was concerned about where Liv should be according to her work diary was beyond Livia. Maybe she was after a promotion of some sort, so she was trying to act more work conscious as a show of being capable of more responsibility. Out of everyone at Pur, despite her shallow nature, Liv couldn't think of anyone more suited to having more power than her eldest sister, but it wasn't really anything to do with her, so she kept her thoughts on the matter to herself, rather than opening up a can of worms by asking if that was indeed why Lilith was inquiring about the Larson case. Lyra was being childish about being left out of shopping - which she really hadn't been - but Livvi laughed and nudged her dramatic sibling with her hip. "Not that I want to cause any rifts, but I'm always up for a bit of shopping," she chimed in, not wanting to agree to shoving Lilith out, but never able to refuse some girl time with Lyra, who was just the most fun, especially when it came to splashing cash on sparkly things. "Anyway, enough public bitching, we're all here, how about you let your two favourite sisters help you find that dress you mentioned?" she suggested to Lilith, looping her arm through Lyra's and giving Lil the biggest puppy dog eyes she could manage. "We'll be good. Promise." She bumped her hip against Lyra's again to encourage her to join in. "Won't we, Ly-Ly?" Of course they would. Well, maybe not completely well behaved, there might be a spot of dress envy if Lilith found something particularly stunning, which was something she had a knack for, or a touch of grumping over Liv or Lyra saying something that Lilith loved was hideous, but nothing too serious. They'd survive the afternoon without anyone taking off in a huff, she was sure of that. _______________________ tag: Lilith A. C. Starlight New Year Dora peered over the balcony beside Liv and pointed to a rather thick set teen holding drinks above his head like a complete idiot. He was just asking for a drowning by doing that in such a crowded area, and Liv bit her lip, half hoping for a show, half hoping he'd make it to Jovian in one piece. "Nameless guy doesn't seem to have too many brain cells," she commented, sipping her drink happily as the two girls watched. She was comfortable with Dora, more than most of her friends since the girls had shared a dorm for seven years while they were at Hogwarts. That kind of closeness brought with it a level of comfort similar to that which you would have with siblings, and she liked that feeling a lot. It was better than having to put on heirs and graces and hold back snippy comments, and it meant she could place her glass on the table and adjust her boobs in her dress without needing to worry about offending anyone. "These things are supposed to stay in place, but they really want to escape," she grunted, shimmying her dress around a bit until she was satisfied that the girls were comfortable for now. She had a feeling she'd be doing that a lot tonight. Fin had excused himself long before she'd began toying with her assets, and she watched him cross the dance floor towards Dora's cousin as the sound of smashing glass drew attention from more than a few people in the crowd. Green eyes followed her own cousin as he dealt with the situation of Jovian's tantrum throwing boyfriend as only an Avery could, by swilling him with the drink he'd thrown - Liv would bet there were a few shards of glass in the stuff that flew into the guy's face - and humiliating him in front of everyone. "Ooops," she cringed, hoping the boyfriend would take the hint and leave, but kind of wanting to see Fin kick his arse. "Is there something between those two that I've missed?" she asked Dora, nodding to Fin and Jovi as he pulled the younger girl into a rather close hug. "This is better than going to the theater," she grinned, having attended many of her sister's performances and not often been as riveted as she was right now. "Five minutes in and high drama. Fabulous." It wasn't exactly high drama, but it was entertaining enough, considering the night had only just begun. _______________________ tag: Euphadora Rose Parkinson and everyone! notes: <3 outfit: Silver stunner! template by izzy [googlefont="Ruthie"]
