There was flirting and then there was flirting. Zelda was enjoying a night out with a friend from work, something she didn't do all too often, when it was interrupted while she was on the loo. A letter arrived in front of her, right as she plonked her arse down on the toilet seat. She groaned and rolled her eyes and then remembered she wasn't the only one in the toilets so she sat up a little straighter, as if people could somehow see her, and then grabbed the letter. She read it and stuffed it into her bag before finishing up. She left the stall and made her way to the bar where her friend was waiting with a couple of cute guys, one of which Zelda had been having a lovely time with. Zelda explained she had to go, much to the protest of her friend, and promised she'd try and make it back. She offered to see her friend home first but apparently that was too much of a buzzkill so Zelda just apologised again, especially to Mr Hotty, and left the bar.
She arrived at the Order Hideout and her rummaged for her letter in her bag. After she found it she held it to the door and it fell away from her hand, turning to ash. Zelda just walked in, stuffing the strap of her bag in her mouth while she tried to get her tan leather jacket on. Magically the neon fricking armband the ministry was forcing her to wear appeared over her jacket. There was no hiding the thing or removing it. Zelda just carried on, letting herself into the meeting sitting her arse next to her brother, her sour expression matching that of her brother's as she looked on at Dumbledore, ready to get on with this meeting and the downfall of the dickhead Minister of Magic.

Oh good lord!! Tam was simply awful but Zelda loved it! She laughed at his comment and shook her head while she rolled her eyes, "You're awful." She told him, a light smirk at the idea of Tam ending Kermit the frog. That hoppy little bastard was going to live forever, one way or another. There was no killing the Muppet, although if anyone stood a good chance of it, it was Tam. He'd be able to assassinate the little twerp frog and any other back-up Muppet frogs that might exist to take the place of the main Muppet man. "Yes!" She said, her eyes trailing to the flashing fish and chip shop. Food seemed like a perfect idea for her, but what would Tam be having? She'd never seen him have his own kind of food before and she didn't think she wanted to see it. She was happy not asking questions and foolishly hoping Tam had a storage of bagged blood at home from willing volunteers, but Zelda knew that was probably way too much effort to go to. "While I eat you can tell me more of the women you've wooed over the centuries," She said, "Anyone I'd have heard of before?" She asked, eager to hear if the vampire in her company had swooned the likes of Queen Victoria or perhaps someone else of well renown.

Tam was an extremely private person - er, vampire - and he had never been one to divulge much about his life. Zelda had known him for a while now and they got on incredibly well, she'd cottoned on that he was a vampire and it hadn't bothered her given he hadn't bitten her and tried to kill her, that was definitely a bonus in a friendship, however sometimes she wanted an answer and she'd ask the question necessary to get a normal, not bullshit answer but Tam had himself so heavily guarded that he never gave a straightforward answer. It would have bothered her if it was information that she needed but what did she need out of Tam really? He was a blast to be around, surprisingly, and although her was a vampire he seemed to get along well with human life. He wasn't like the horror stories they'd been told about in Defence Against the Dark Arts, but then maybe he was just really good at hiding it. Zelda wasn't sure, it wasn't her job to investigate him and until it was, she'd stay out of any aspects of his life he didn't want to let her in on, it was only fair.
Zelda practically snorted at the idea of Tam getting down and funky with Miss Piggy. She didn't want to imagine what that was like but her imagination didn't care what she wanted, it was already there with a shirtless Tam in a hotel room, smoking a cigarette next to a ruffled Miss Piggy, her yellow curls dishevelled as she too laid there, smoking a cigarette. Merlin her voice made Zelda want to shudder, "Oh bloody hell, Tam!" She said, hitting the back of her hand against his chest as he zipped up his coat, "Now all I can think of is you and Miss Piggy in some hotel room. I'll be having nightmares for week. Thanks." She said sarcastically, zipping up her own jacket to brace at least a little against the cold. "How did Kermit take it?" She asked, curious as to how far Tam would go with this. Zelda was certain he was an expert liar under usual circumstances but how well could he feign an intimate relationship with a toy pig? She felt as though she was now opening a can of worms and she was certain she was about to become deeply, deeply disturbed.

Never in her life had Zelda ever expected to come across a vampire. She'd learnt about them in Defence Against the Dark Arts lessons when she'd been at school but they were so rare and so recluse that the chances of meeting one were slim to none! Yet here she was, scoffing popcorn, laughing her arse off in a movie theatre next to one of the most deadly creatures on the planet. Life was mysterious, always throwing curve-balls, and this curve-ball really seemed to come out of nowhere. What were the chances that they'd go for the same cab? Or be heading in the right direction? Their lives, or more her life and his death, had come together as if plotted by some divine being that knew they needed each other, because while one may not exactly think of a vampire as a good friend, Tam was, in fact, a really rather good friend, and Zelda even knew his biggest secret. It was strange becoming so close with someone in such a strange way but somehow it worked for the two of them. He got her the way that others just didn't, he understood her subtle notes of sarcasm and she understood his need to avoid sunlight. It was perfect really.
"I knooow, waka waka!" She chuckled, reaching for some of the last pieces of popcorn after her terrible impression of Frozie Bear. She'd tried to go as nasally as she could without going overboard, but her voice just couldn't reach the range that was even remotely worthy of Frozie Bear. Zelda had many talents in life but impersonations were not one of them. That kind of playful thing was probably better left up to her worse half - Zach. Zelda polished off the popcorn and the last of her fizzy drink as the movie came to an end. Much like Tam she had thoroughly enjoyed the movie. She had a large range of interests when it came to movies and she hadn't been sure The Muppet Movie would be the sort of thing she'd enjoy but she'd been pleasantly surprised. She'd actually found it really damned entertaining although probably not as much as Tam, but it was a good movie with goofy moments that she was going to have to watch again someday, though she couldn't quite understand just how Tam had known about the Muppets or why he liked them so darn much. She supposed when you were immortal and you'd seen all kinds of things in your very long life time, anything new and out of the ordinary was probably really welcome and quite enjoyable.
As the credits began to roll Zelda dusted her hands off and slurped up the last of her cola. She placed her cup inside the popcorn box and stood herself up, dusting her laps of any popcorny debris that may have dropped while she'd been too busy paying attention to the movie. "That was bloody brilliant!" She said, genuinely surprised that she'd enjoyed the movie as much as she had. It would never have been her first pick, or even second or third to be honest, but she'd had a real good time catching a movie with Tam tonight, "How in the heck did you know about that movie?" Zelda had seen a poster for it before tonight but it had been such a long while ago that she could barely even remember it. She'd thought back then that it was a kids movie, and really it was, but she'd thought it wouldn't be for the liked of her, she was too adult and too mature to enjoy a movie quite like that, but Tam had proven her wrong. Completely wrong. Zelda had loved The Muppet Movie, despite not really thinking much of it prior to tonight and once she'd discovered what they were going to see she'd asked a rather sassy "Really?" but shew as now of the mind that she really needed to have more faith in Tam when it came to picking movies because as of yet, he'd not steered her wrong. The horror movie's he'd suggested were always pretty good, the comedy's were bang up and The Muppets were a touch of hilarity that she'd really needed!

Woo! Married life is suiting these two well! Lily’s pregnant, due in July, and she’s now on light Order duties. She worries for James more than ever right now because she feels helpless stuck at home alone with nothing better than to watch the front door and pray that James comes home safely.

Well clearly James has heard all about Dorcas because Sirius is obsessed xD Nah, I dunno if Sirius would have said anything or not, but Dorcas would know James through the Order and she would never have said anything to him really, not unless she had to converse with him or babysit him xD She does think it’s commendable that he’s taking a stand.

Paris was James’ Astronomy Professor for his final year (if he took the subject) and she died right before exam time. Soooo inconvenient. She would have been amused by James, thought he and his friends were quite the characters and would have attended and cheered on the Gryffindor Quidditch team, because hell yeah! Go Gryffindork!
Jasmine Cherry Moon and James Henry Potter
They were on the quidditch team together for three years, both Chasers so they would have done plenty of training with one another and worked closely on maneuvers and passes etc. She was driven, competitive, and totally had her eye on the captaincy so he completely gave her heaps of pointers and tips on strategies for after he’d graduated etc.

Close but they squabble quite a bit. He’s older and has never let her forget it. Whenever they were little he would totally pull rank as the “older” sibling and it would make her crazy with rage! She’s searched through the photo albums to make sure he was definitely out first and to be sure there wasn’t some kind of mix up! She loves Zach so very much, she’d do just about anything for him, and she’ll forever be protective of him even if he can handle himself.

Order together but also, there was definitely a case that came across Dorcas’ desk and she needed the expertise of someone from the Magical Beasts Department to help her better understand what a something or other was and was not capable of. A Dark Wizard was using them to something and something (you can fill in the something’s xD) and so Dorcas was assigned Zach as her Beast expert and tamer and she 100000% made comments about wanting to tame his beast and asking if his beast was Fantastic xD

She is going to be devastated when she finds out he’s a filthy mudblood xD however she fully watches him if he crosses her path xD Oh, and she says he’s hot but Fin’s hotter. Gotta include that xD

Order together and on good terms I’d think. She’s not afraid to reach out and say hi, chat about how life’s going etc. her inner bartender just can’t help herself! She’s always on duty really and she gets some strange vibes from his aura sometimes (definitely that guarded exterior he has, makes him come off as shielded and defensive in her eyes which she thinks is kind of strange) so she figures he needs a drink more often than most and she’s always willing to whip something up for him if he fancies.

I have no thoughts yet, but I wanna come back to these two at some point. Beast Division and a Wolfy? How can I pass that up! Gotta be something here though I don’t know what, however I am open to ideas or just waiting to see if any other plots evolve that could push these two together making her all aggressive around him. Cora needs to let her wolfy side give her more of a backbone from time to time xD

Okay xD Not a likely duo but hey, we can make this work! To get me to 50 plots hubby was picking names at random and landed on Thomas so Zelda and Tam get a plot! Plus these two both need more plots so let's do this! Hubster says they're best friends and go for coffee all the time; Wizard coffee. Order of the phoenix application Connection to the Order: Most people in school don't get much of a reputation. They're bland and blend into the background, passing by relatively unnoticed, by Zelda couldn't possibly be unnoticed. She was the better half of the Zeller twins and their reputation was school-wide. They weren't afraid to defend themselves and their blood status, they weren't the types to lay down and take whatever was thrown at them. Zelda preferred to do things the proper way, fighting with detentions, loss of points, kicking arse on the quidditch pitch, although if someone targeted her brother she wasn't going to just stand idly by. She was asked to join the Order at the same time as her brother, approached by Albus Dumbledore and as if she was going to refuse.
Useful Skills: Sexy AF. Hit Witch training. Love of fighting. Excellent flyer. Quidditch Keeper extraordinaire, but that may not be relevant, but it does make her quite the catch!
Useful Affiliations: Ministry worker in the Magical Lawn Enforcement department.
Why join the Order of the Phoenix? There are a number of reasons why Zelda was more than willing to join the Order of the Phoenix but mostly she wanted to join to fight the good fight. Honestly, she's a natural born fighter and she wants to fight for what's right, for what she believes in. It might be a little idealistic but she wants the world to be a better place, she sees how dark it's getting and doesn't just want to put a stop to it, she needs to. It's more than just a desire, it's a necessity. There are people like her in the world, magical people from non-magical families that can't fight for themselves, that haven't had the kind of training she's received through her job and fighting with her brother. Zelda will always try to do what she believes is right and while the Order isn't exactly a legal operation, she believes it is the best way to fight against the Dark Lord and his growing influence on the world. As far as Zelda is concerned magic is for everyone capable. Muggleborn, half blood or pure blood, everyone capable of magic should stand strong together, still she knows that's just a pipe dream but it's something to strive for.

PERSONALITY Boggart: Being alone and abandoned. She's surrounded by people, but there's a circle of space, nothingness dividing them and all their backs are turned. It causes her to feel disconnected and lonely and there's one back in particular that she recognises and it feels as though she's being stabbed in the heart to have her brother ignoring her.
Mirror of Erised: A peaceful world to live in, but that's only because of all the problems happening in the world at the moment. If life wasn't so dark she'd probably see herself with a bunch of gold on holiday with her friends and family!
Patronus: Wolf - back in Hogwarts, hearing her brother stand up for her when he hadn't realised she was nearby. As much as they fight and bicker, that memory is a true and perfect reminder than her brother loves her and will always have her back no matter what.
Zelda is a fun little creature. She’s petite but fierce. With a fire in her belly that’s hard to sate. She’s firm on justice and has a natural talent for combat, no doubt thanks to all the sights she had with her brother as toddlers. And kids. And teenagers. One thing’s for certain, life with Zelda’s never boring. She’s active and passionate about what she does with her life and she always backs what she says or does. She’s not as rash as one might expect. She weighs options carefully and quickly, taking in information and coming to a conclusion with a swift due process, which is pretty important in her line of work. Socially she has a sense of community about her and finds herself mixing and mingling with people well in her social life. She volunteers a little here and there when she has the time and finds no issues amongst those that can tolerate a muggleborn.
Enemies are probably more than Zelda realises. She’s a muggleborn and that just doesn’t sit well in today’s climate. She’s probably rubbed people up the wrong way because occasionally she can be a little brash. It can be great for work but sometimes she forgets to switch off and so can come off as bossy and a little too assertive. She will be apologetic if called out on it, although not if you’re her brother, then she’ll just tell you to get over it and quit your whining.

One thing’s for certain and that’s that you’ll know where you stand with Zelda. She doesn’t pretend to like someone, make-believe is for children. She can’t be alone for too long or it starts to get to her. She likes a little quiet every now and then but usually she likes to be near people. It’s why she lives in Diagon Alley in a flat above one of the shops, she loves to be smack bang in the middle of the magical social hub. It’s great for coming home tipsy or bringing back an extra friendly friend -winkwinknudgenudge- which leads us into the romantic side of Zelda’s life. It’s been a rollercoaster of a ride but long story short, guys just can’t handle a badass witch! She believes she pushes partners away because she’s dedicated to her work, and her secret work for the Order, or she thinks that she’s a strong woman and people are intimidated by that, especially men. But really who knows? Only the people that have left her know their real reasons for leaving and right now, Zelda has no interest in anything serious.

Natalie Winston and Gerald Zeller met during school. He was an annoying dick with a thing for tall blondes with shiny hair and she was the quiet nerdy wallflower that never caught the eye of anyone. It wasn’t a likely combo to ever meet, let alone fall in love and have kids but it happened. Gerald was popular, the girls loved him and he enjoyed the attention he got. He played on the school sports teams and everyone loved him. From running to football to swimming he was an all-round superstar but only when it came to physical activities. He was failing lessons and Natalie was tasked with helping him enough to get his grades up. Over the course of their final school year they actually came to like one another as friends.
Their lives went in different directions, Gerald went to work as a mechanic at his father’s garage while Natalie went off to university, one of only a handful of women in her uni. She visited her home town over the course of her summers away from uni and she happened across Gerald one day, changing a flat tyre for a neighbour. The two had a small chat and arranged to meet at the local pub later that night. They spent all night talking about their lives, school, work, uni and what they hoped their futures might hold. At the end of the night shy, sweet Natalie made the first move, kissing Gerald and the rest, as they say, was history.
For many years after their wedding, Natalie and Gerald tried and tried and tried to have a child. Nothing ever happened, not a single pregnancy. Natalie was heartbroken but Gerald didn’t mind. He came from a family of many sons, they would carry on his family name and he could spend his life with the woman he loved. The pair travelled, built themselves a successful life supporting one another. Natalie went on to become a Lawyer and Gerald took over his father’s garage. They worked hard but always made time for one another.
Hot and flustered Natalie hated menopause. It exhausted her, it left her hot all the time, her joints ached and she could never get comfortable at night. She got sick a lot but was still able to go about her day to day routine. She took long service from work and spoke with her Dr. He suggested she might be pregnant but at 40 years of age, Natalie just laughed him off. Her mother had gone through menopause early and everyone knew you couldn’t have a child over 35, right? She did the test if only to humour her Dr and the results came back positive. She was indeed pregnant. Natalie was in a state of shock and told Gerald when she got home. It was hard for him to wrap his head around it too. Even more shocking is they were farther along than expected. Four months pregnant and that bloating and weight gain had turned out to be pregnancy, who knew!? But that wasn’t all, there was more news for the excited couple. Twins. After nothing for so many years Natalie and Gerald were stunned to discover they were expecting twins but they were overjoyed and prepared for their little bundles of joy to come into the world.
Zachary Oscar Zeller came into the world first, followed by a blue, hollering blob. Zelda Eden Zeller came into the world loud and out there, letting everyone know just what she thought about being born. She squirmed and kicked and was never an easy baby, nor toddler. She fussed a lot and clung to her parents at all times. She would hit her brother every chance she got and used to be a bit of a biter. She outgrew the biting and clinginess but not fighting with her brother. While he means the world to her he does have a way of getting on her nerves, but he’s the only person in the world she’d let get away with almost everything.
As a kid things were pretty interesting. Zelda would make things happen. She’d misplace her homework -coughZachwouldstealitcough- and she’d find it was magically in her bag by the time she got to school. Sometimes she wouldn’t get the toy she wanted on the playground and poof! She’d find what she wanted just behind her. There were many instances of magic through her life but she never really believed it was actual magic until their visit from a witch named Minerva McGonagall. She explained to them and their parents all about magic and Hogwarts and how both Zach and Zelda were magically gifted.
Diagon Alley was amazing. It was literally eye opening to Zelda, she wasn’t sure if she could open her eyes even wider. It took her a while to even blink, she just didn’t want to miss a thing! They went shopping for the most bizarre things, toads legs, cauldrons, owls, but by far Zelda’s favourite thing to shop for was her wand. She went through twelve wands before she found her perfect fit. It was an incredible feeling and it was so hard for her not to use it through the summer. Professor McGonagall had explained that minors (under seventeen which seemed like an odd age) weren’t allowed to perform magic outside of Hogwarts.
Once at Hogwarts Zelda was beyond excited to see the castle for the first time as the magical rowboats took her across the lake. Beautiful just wasn’t a powerful enough word to describe it. After the boat ride was travelling through the depths of the castle to the great hall, followed by the sorting. One by one the students were called alphabetically by surname. Everyone was sorted apart from Zach and Zelda. She watched as her brother was called up and the big hat sat on his head and down over his eyes. Zelda was anxious, she worried that they would be sent home. Zach was sorted and as the applause died down she was called. The last person in the hall to be sorted, Zelda walked to the three legged stool and took a seat. The hat came down over her eyes and a voice sounded in her ear, making her jump a little. She’d heard the house calls but nothing else, she’d not expected that hat to talk to her, and what a lot he had to say! It was quite the one sided conversation as he mulled over where to place her. She didn’t get a word in but she was kind of happy to find the hat yelling out “HUFFLEPUFF”, the same house that Zach had gone to.
School was great for Zelda. She enjoyed it a lot, she liked to keep fit and she found herself on the quidditch team in her fourth year as keeper. She was quick, nimble and had a good eye for the quaffle. Her coordination was fantastic and she loved flying. It gave her little daredevil streak something to do. In her fifth year she became a Prefect. She wasn’t a perfect student but she tried her hardest to do what she could. She had a sense of right and wrong that she liked to follow. Becoming a Prefect gave her some idea of what she wanted to do with her life.
By the time she was finished with Hogwarts, Zelda was ready to embark upon new adventures. She joined the Ministry of Magic, training as a Hit Witch. She felt comfortable with her job and enjoyed what she was doing, mostly. There were a few cases that were hard to work for a variety of different reasons but mostly it was a great feeling to be able to help people.
It’s not been a bad life for Zelda. She’s faced her share of bigoted arseholes and sadly it’s becoming more and more common by the day at the moment. There is a shift about to happen, Zelda can feel it, but she’s determined to carry on doing what she feels is right. The world will be brighter again some day.
