Tam is our resident full-blooded vampire. He was bitten almost two hundred years ago, and I would highly recommend reading his app for a better understanding of his life and the history he has with his brothers. Tam was the only one in the Muggle family to be born with any magical ability, but he was denied the opportunity to learn the craft by his parents, so spent most of his life (and his time as a vampire) magic free. His brothers are both non-magical, though they can of course know about the wizarding world if you want them to (it would be pretty boring on a Potter site to have them oblivious to magic). XD ARTHUR JACK BELLAMY
VAMPIRE - 201 YEARS OLD - NON-MAGICAL - TRAVIS FIMMEL
Arthur (known as Ace to Tam), is the middle brother. He is three years younger than Tam, and the boys (all three of them) were very close growing up together with small age gaps. He was turned into a vampire at the same time as Milo, at the hands (or fangs) of Tam when he was 25 years old. I would read through Tam's app (linked above) for any further details you may need. The brothers come together now and then through the years to catch up and check in with each other, sometimes sticking together for a few years at a time before parting ways again. Everything else about this guy is yours to make up, where he's been in life, who he has become as a person, his history, personality, etc. Play-by is Travis Fimmel, please stick to this as it's taken forever to find faces to fit with Tam. Name is also set in stone in Tam's history, so that can't be changed. PM if you have any questions. <3
MILES WILLIAM BELLAMY
VAMPIRE - 199 YEARS OLD - NON-MAGICAL - DEVON SAWA
Miles (or Milo, as Tam calls him), is the youngest Bellamy. He is five years younger than Tam, and two years younger than Ace, and the boys (all three of them) were very close growing up together with small age gaps. He was turned into a vampire at the same time as Ace, at the hands (or fangs) of Tam when he was 23 years old. Play-by is Devon Sawa but you can change this if you like, just make sure whoever you choose fits in with the family look.. Name is set in stone in Tam's history, so that can't be changed. PM if you have any questions. <3

Take a Walk on the Wild Side Though he could sense that he was dealing with an intelligent man, Tam couldn't deny the level of gullible that was being displayed at the same time. For him to show such innocence in his assumptions of Tam's night spoke volumes about the kind of man he was, and Tam wondered how he had managed to keep such a positive outlook after so many years on this messed up planet. It was refreshing, with the potential to become annoying if it went on for too long. He might have made a sly remark about it, something to hint that this man knew nothing of how Tam spent his evenings, or what he got up to when in the company of women, but the man went on to offer to leave Tam to have his alone time, making the vampire pause before speaking. Perhaps he should rethink his approach, if the man was decent enough to be considerate of Tam's time and desire to be by himself, then he might just be worth keeping around for a while. Talking to someone who was intelligent and fascinatingly thoughtful and jovial might be a bit better than stewing in his own thoughts for the night. He focused on his glass, mulling it over before coming to a decision. "Tell me about your wife," he said, picking up his drink and taking a huge gulp, the glass slamming down a little too hard on the bar, what was left of the amber liquid swishing about wildly inside. Tam's golden gaze lifted slowly, finding the man once more. "What is it like waking up to the same person every day?" He had asked this of quite a few people over the centuries, selfishly liking to make himself feel utterly shitty about his lost dream of a wife and family by hearing about the success of others in that department. He would wallow in it later, no doubt, unless the guy told him some sort of horror story about how much he hated married life and couldn't stand the sight of his wife, which was why he drank alone. Maybe that was the reason, after all. Tam's earlier almost-question had not been answered, so it was still up for debate. _______________________ tag: André Daniel Meadowes words: 403 outfit: Minus the short hair and suitcase? Take a Walk on the Wild Side The way this man spoke reminded Tam of a time when men were gentlemen and treated others with respect and courtesy. It was becoming rarer as the years went on and humans cared less about what they did to each other and the world. These days men were arseholes and women were whores, and everything Tam remembered from his own upbringing was long buried. He could hear a hint of it in the way this man spoke, and it struck a chord. He didn't immediately hate the man. That was a turn up for the books. Golden eyes noted the ring on his finger, and Tam decided that this man had a wife waiting for him at home. Something in him didn't want to tear apart a couple tonight, not when one of them gave Tam some small sense of camaraderie. The man had an honest face, and probably made his wife feel like she had gotten incredibly lucky when she had married him. No, there was no point in ruining that. They'd likely both be dead in a few decades, anyway. "I had dinner with beautiful woman last night," Tam admitted, though what he really wanted to say was that he'd had a beautiful woman for dinner last night. There was a small difference, though both scenarios left his hunger satiated. "Tonight is just for me." The woman had had hair as red as fire. She couldn't have been more than thirty years old, but Tam hadn't taken the time to ask her age, or anything about her, really. Her name had been Jean, which was such an old fashioned name, Tam had thought that it didn't suit her at all. He had told her as much, but she had fallen so deep under his spell, she likely didn't even hear him. His bite had left her wanting more, and far from screaming so that he would have to rush his meal, she had enjoyed it almost as much as he had, and drifted into a peaceful sleep before her heart stopped. Tam had always thought that was an exquisite part of being a vampire. Most people weren't even scared once you bit them. The high they got from a vampires bite was so all consuming that they usually begged for more. It was beautiful. A peaceful death for most. Tam never felt any guilt about killing for food. He didn't feel guilt about much, in all honesty. _______________________ tag: André Daniel Meadowes words: 438 outfit: Minus the short hair and suitcase? Take a Walk on the Wild Side A younger couple sat in a booth over by the window, whispering to each other intimately and making Tam wish he didn't have incredible hearing. He took a sly glance over his shoulder, casual, uninterested. They looked so young and unassuming, the guy with his glasses slightly wonky on his face, the girl looking more intellectual and straight laced than anything else, yet the things they whispered to each other did not match up with the image they presented to the world. Tam smirked into his glass. Geek boy and Snooty girl were filthy little beggars. Tam tuned them out as he sipped his firewhiskey, his ears picking up footsteps approaching the bar. They were definitely male, which was disappointing, he wouldn't have minded some filthy nothings being whispered to him, too, but the older man who ordered a beer was certainly not going to be playing that role for Tam tonight. He was dressed well, and sounded like he was comfortable ordering at a bar, but Tam had never seen him around before. He was about to tune the old guy out, too, when he picked up his beer and slid down the bar closer to Tam, stopping a polite distance away. Tam side eyed him with some caution as the man asked if he could join him, musinc that Tam might have a tale to tell. "Just one?" Tam asked, wondering if he had any stories that would be appropriate enough for a stranger. Most of them were dark, murdery, dangerous, vampish. He supposed he could play the tall, dark, and boring role if he had to. He stretched one long leg out and placed his boot against the stool next to him, kicking it out for the man to sit on. "I guess it depends what kind of stories you like," he said, deciding to give the man a chance. He wasn't picking up any funny vibes from the guy, so it wouldn't harm to humour an old man for a while. Tam had a bit of a soft spot for older men, since he would never be one himself. They triggered in him thoughts of what could have been if his life had taken a different path. "You're drinking alone," he noted, half a question, half an observation. Was there no wife? No children? Did this man have a sad tale of his own to tell? _______________________ tag: André Daniel Meadowes words: 429 outfit: Minus the short hair and suitcase? Thomas Ambrose Bellamy & Rodolphus Adalrich Lestrange Nothing for now, but Tam always picks the winning side in life, and right now he thinks that Team Voldy has the edge, so if he decides to throw his lot in with the DE's at some point I think he would clash magnificently with Roddy, which would be super fun. Thomas Ambrose Bellamy & Euphadora Rose Parkinson If you ever want Dora to get sucked into a bit of darkness, Tam is your vamp. I remember you saying something along the lines of she would joke about asking Kit to bite her if she knew he was half vamp... Tam wouldn't hesitate. Juicy plot offer for after she has Pansy if you want her to get tangled up in a bit of a vampire bite addiction story. If not, they likely wouldn't know each other, but he would screw around with her if they met. Might wanna kill her if she doesn't leave immediately after. XD Thomas Ambrose Bellamy & Lyra Ophelia Genevieve Burke Tam is 203 years old, he loves theatre and going to see shows, it reminds him of old times, and gives him an excuse to be a nostalgic bastard. XD He might come across Lyra in the theatre world, maybe he's seen a performance of hers, or they've been watching the same show and seated near each other. She's a beauty, he would try a bit of vampy charm on her to see if she was susceptible. Thomas Ambrose Bellamy & Oliver Osiris Devereaux Kit doesn't like Tam. Doesn't really know him, but Tam is the kind of vampire that would have ruined Kit's mum's life, so he's the bad kind that Kit wants to get rid of. I imagine Ollie might feel the same if he ever met Tam. Tam would just wind the pair of them up no end and take pleasure in seeing how riled they got. So maybe keep them apart for now unless we want any drama that involves all the feelings about mummy dearest.

Take a Walk on the Wild Side Tam loved the Autumn. And winter. And the first half of spring. The entire portion of the year when the days were shorter, the nights longer, and the sun set mid-afternoon was just perfect for him. Living a life in the shadows was easy after almost two hundred years of it, but it did get tiring missing out on the daylight hours. There was only so much you could do at night, and being a vampire made him miss out on a lot. A lot. Like, tons of fun stuff. It was a kick in the balls for all vampires, really, but it was something he had adapted to, and a small price to pay for immortality. Not that he had wanted immortality in the first place, but now that he had it, he wanted to keep it. It was his. Nobody would take it from him. Possessive much? Yes. Deal with it. And don't touch his stuff. He did appreciate a compliment directed at his belongings here or there, but only if he was in a half decent mood. He was in a semi-decent mood tonight. It was Sunday, which meant most of the fools of the world were at home, riddled with dread and anxiety about waking up for work in the morning. Ironing their clothes, washing their hair, getting an early night. Being generally useless, but it kept them out of Tam's hair, and he had long ago favoured Sunday evenings because of it. It was peaceful as he strolled into the Hollow Tree Inn and took a seat at the bar. There were no idiots being rowdy and irritating, there was no competition for the bartender's attention, and he ordered a firewhiskey with no trouble at all, and sat in peace, enjoying his drink and his alone time. Strange as it seemed to come to a bar for alone time, Tam hated being cooped up at home all day, and if that meant that he had to endure being surrounded by mortal morons, then so be it. Cabin fever was not fun when your anger issues caused you to go on killing sprees. He wasn't really in the mood for murder tonight. No, just a quiet drink would do. He shifted his feet on the stool, and rested his elbows on the bar, delicate ears tuning in to the conversations of the patrons around him. _______________________ tag: André Daniel Meadowes words: 428 outfit: Minus the short hair and suitcase? Thomas Ambrose Bellamy & Dorcas Amilie Meadowes Fuck me or fuck off. Thomas Ambrose Bellamy & Jovian Isobel Corrine Rowle She'd turn his head in the street because she looks similar to the woman who turned him into a vampire. He'd have one of those double take moments and disappear into the shadows to stalk her until he was certain it wasn't whatsherface. XD Thomas Ambrose Bellamy & Cora Calliope Vance Try and hide your secret from this one, Cor! X'D He knows what she is at first sniff, and he would be pissed because she's beautiful and it's not fair that she's a wolfie. We know he's not fond of wolfies. If you want someone else for her to be moody and quiet with, they can cross paths. XD Thomas Ambrose Bellamy & Vienna Phoebe Rosier Maybe he's been one of her one - maybe more - night stands? Gotta have some connection to an Olivia Wilde face! Thomas Ambrose Bellamy & Wilhelmina Emerald Rayne Telley! Ham! Hellamy!! Tamina (Tam's favourite)! I just like Ham. X'D How about they first met when Helley (insert random reason here) walked into his house thinking it was just a normal church, and it was all "WTF" "Who tf are you?" "Get out!" "Why is this church a house!?" Etc, etc, then they accidentally spent a good half an hour bickering in his kitchen and he found her really annoying, but then they just kept running into one another. Then at one point wolf thing happens, and he's all "How the fff do you get yourself in these situations?" And she's all sassy, and so on, and so forth. And now they're just kind of stuck in a state of acceptance for one another, though she doesn't know what he is, and just thinks he has a weird phobia of the sun. LMFAO Tweak away! Thomas Ambrose Bellamy & Fergus Jefferson Bones & André Daniel Meadowes He has to have a drink at a bar with both of these (separately) at some point. It'd be so funny. XD

Living area The church conversion is all open plan on the ground floor, the large space having a fitted kitchen, room for large couches in an area meant for entertaining guests, and a dining nook.
Dining area What was formerly an altar is now a lovely dining area with room for plenty of guests to be seated for a meal, though Tam prefers not to have a crowded house.
Upstairs living room Upstairs in the loft area, a smaller living room was created, meant for only the owner of the house to relax in. This room is more private, and not many people make it up here.
Bedroom Tam's bedroom is surprisingly spacious for something crafted out of a church loft, and he doesn't really bother changing the decor, but he is a big fan of the bathtub in this room. It comes in really handy when entertaining...
Bathroom The smallest space in the home, the bathroom has just enough room for a pretty nice shower, a sink, and a toilet, but look at that window!

yew, lethifold essence, twelve and a quarter inches |
PERSONALITY Boggart: Himself, turning to dust. True death is the one thing Tam fears most of all. He knows he cheated it once and there's no second chances at that, his next death will be his last, and so he avoids it as vehemently as he can. Mirror of Erised: Tam's deepest desire is to live forever, which he's doing a pretty good job of, so far. As a human, he wanted a family more than anything, so I suppose if he looked into the Mirror, he would see himself as a human with a loving wife and children. Sadly this can never be. Patronus: Are you kidding me? He's a vampire, he's got no chance! If he could produce a Patronus, it would probably be a Hawk. Tam's happiest memory comes from a time when he was four years old. His parents took their little family to the countryside to visit relatives, and it was Tam's first time seeing such a place, which was so different from the bustling city he was used to. These relatives owned horses that lived in a nearby field, and Tam's father took him to see them, lifting him high up on his shoulders so he could reach up to stroke their manes. It was the most giddy and carefree he can ever remember being, and he holds the memory close to his heart, always.
Tam is a quiet man, or so it seems. On the outside he is seen to be more of an observer, a thinker, though beneath the surface there is a bubbling inferno just waiting to erupt, and boy does it when people are least expecting it. As he sits there quietly judging you, please don't smile at him, or try and invite him to join your conversation, because you will get told to fuck off in no uncertain terms. And don't mutter to your mates about his girly long hair, because he will scalp you right there in the middle of the room without blinking.
Tam likes to break rules and is pretty much a law unto himself. He is sarcastic and won't hold his opinions back, no matter how harsh they may be. He's always up for a good time, so long as he's in charge or somebody else has come up with something exceptionally amazing to do, only then will he let another person take the reins. He likes to drink and party, though his idea of a good time usually involves hiring a private room in the Hog's Head and seducing a horde of pretty girls to feed off of all night, with great music playing, and an impressive selection of alcohol at hand. He's not rowdy, really speaking, it's more a case of he won't take no for an answer, so Tam can get a bit dramatic if denied or challenged.
You probably get the impression that he is a harsh soul, cruel, vicious, and you would be right, but there is more to him than his temper. It's hard for those that don't know him to see that, but there really is. It takes a long time for a person to earn his... not trust, but respect. Sort of. Just to get him to half like you is a big deal, and if you reach that point or maybe a bit further, you will find that he is capable of loyalty. Despite his feral nature, his vampiric drives, he can show caring to people who deserve it. Sometimes. Occasionally. Just think yourself lucky if he's helped you out at all, even if it's just something as simple as holding the door open for you.
He is wise beyond his years, and cunning with it, and if ever there is a person who knows survival, it is Tam. He's a fast learner, and has the guile to know how to use the things he knows to his benefit. He is like a cockroach, there is just no getting rid of him, and he will dodge death whatever it takes. He has been known in the past to settle for long periods of time in towns, and then disappear without a trace, leaving his entire life behind without a second thought. He doesn't consider himself tied to anyone or anything, even if you think you've got him, you haven't. Not when it really comes down to it.
Tam is neutral in the purest sense of the word. He will choose whatever side he thinks will win,or whichever side offers him the most for his allegiance, and so you never know what to expect from him, one minute he will be laughing with you, the next, he's coming for your head on a stick. Just be careful. He never regrets anything he does or says, as he's going to live forever, so why the hell should he care? It'll all be forgotten in half a century, so he doesn't worry about anything, really.
HISTORY Mother: Rosemarie Bellamy, deceased aged 52, dressmaker, muggle. Father: Ambrose Bellamy, deceased aged 58, blacksmith, muggle. Siblings: Arthur Jack Bellamy, "Ace", 195 years old, little brother, vampire. Miles William Bellamy, "Milo", 193 years old, little brother, vampire. Partners: None Others: N/A
Born at home in a scruffy part of London, on 10th May 1776, Thomas Ambrose Bellamy was the first child of Rosemarie and Ambrose. A working class family, Ambrose worked hard as a Blacksmith, whilst his wife made fine dresses for the women in town, selling them for money to feed her son. Though his mother always called him Thomas, his full name, his father often shortened his first and middles names, preferring the nickname of 'Tam', which the young boy loved dearly. At the age of three Tam was given a younger brother, Arthur, or 'Ace' as he would be later called, and he loved being a big brother. Even more so two years later when another son was added to the family. Miles was the last child Ambrose and Rosemarie had, and the three boys were very close, being so similar in age.
Life was hard, and things were pretty simple in Tam's life. He and his brothers were taught at home by their mother, and allowed to work when they reached the age of ten, in order to help keep their family afloat. Tam used to help his dad out at the smithy, but was offered a small job cleaning stables not too far from home. He loved being close to the horses, and would often sneak in places he shouldn't have been, just to pet them. He was a quiet child, always keeping to himself and being polite and courteous, as his mother instructed. Little did anyone know the kind of rebellious thoughts that went on inside his pretty little head.
When he was eleven a letter was delivered to their home addressed to him, and Tam, being a dutiful son, passed it straight to his father, not used to getting mail for himself. His father opened it right there in front of him, but would not tell Tam what the letter was about, no matter how much Tam politely asked over and over. Eventually, he eavesdropped outside his parents bedroom in the night, listening to them discuss the contents of the letter, and feeling like he might explode with excitement and confusion. He was meant to go to a school of magic to learn spells? Surely it was a hoax? He waited until his parents were at work the next day before sneaking into their room to read the letter for himself. Sure enough, some place called Hogwarts wanted him to attend school there.
Tam confronted his parents about it, but was told in no uncertain terms that he would not be attending any magic school, and that whoever had sent the letter had clearly lost their mind. He was disappointed, but it did eventually give him some small explanation when odd things kept happening. The time he made his pillow explode just by glaring at it, for example, or the incident where the barn at the stables caught fire out of nowhere. Tam knew deep down what it was, but he could do nothing about it. His parents had brushed it off as silly, and as much as he loved them, he couldn't bring the subject up again.
His teen years were a lot harder, since he was the eldest of the Bellamy brothers, and was expected to get a proper job and find himself a wife as soon as possible. At the age of fifteen, he worked on the carriages, carting people to and fro across the smoggy city, and getting to see a lot more of it than he would have in any other job. He enjoyed the freedom and scope it gave him, and it allowed him to get away from home enough that he didn't feel trapped and pressured, like he was starting to. Pressure was never something Tam was fond of, and it made him resentful. Why did men have to be so responsible and hard working, when women stayed at home and cooked and cleaned? It wasn't fair. The need to be fancy-free was overwhelming in him.
He was having no luck - or rather, didn't want to put in the effort - finding a wife or any girls that held his interest for more than a night, and upon turning seventeen he left home, moving an hour away where the fields were greener, and the air was clearer. He started working at a small farm, picking fruit and tending crops and animals, and had set himself up a life filled with privacy and freedom. Almost three years he spent there, visiting his family as much as possible and having fun, his evenings spent drinking and partying with friends and girls. That was when she crossed his path. The most beautiful crimson hair tumbled down her back as she danced across the bar toward him, ruby lips curving into an innocent smile. Tam was hooked right there. It was her. She was the one. He had never seen anything like it, the grace in her limbs as she twirled across the wooden floor, blue eyes sparkling in his direction. She was otherworldly.
Needless to say, Tam was no fool. He wouldn't let the opportunity to woo her just walk out the door. He courted her enthusiastically throughout the night, dancing with her, telling her everything he thought she might want to hear. She had to be his. She seemed just as enthused as he was, and made no attempts to resist when he invited her to join him alone for the rest of the evening. He knew the perfect place. The farm he worked at would be deserted and quiet at this time of night, the perfect private place to work his magic on this beauty. They drank and laughed, falling into hay bales in the barn in a drunken fit of giggles. It was then that he had made his move and kissed her. She hadn't stopped him. In fact, she began to remove his shirt, encouraging him to do the same with her dress until the next thing he knew, they were rolling around naked in the hay, having more fun than Tam could have ever wished for. Even as she sunk her fangs into the flesh at his neck, he still wasn't aware of her true nature.
He blacked out after a minute of confusion, and it was days before he woke. Still in the barn, he was buried deep in loose hay, she had obviously placed him there to keep him hidden, and the farmer or his wife had blatantly not ventured his way recently. His clothes were gone, too, and it was bleary eyed and spinning that he stumbled into the farm kitchen and ran through the house to the bedroom, raiding the farmer's clothing and managing to find himself a pair of old pants and an odd shirt, and some rumpled old boots that didn't quite fit. His senses were in overdrive, and the hunger that roiled within him was incredible. But, it wasn't hunger for food...
Fleeing the farm and his home, he walked for days, confused and dazed, completely unsure of what the hell was happening to him, he just knew it wasn't good. It was three days later that a stray cat crossed his path, and the thrumming of its heartbeat deafened him, and he realised that the delightful smell drifting his way was coming from the creature. Without thinking, he snatched the cat before it could run and didn't even blink as his fangs extended, sinking into the animals flesh as the blood drained from it. The feeling was amazing, and it was then that memories from that night with the girl came flooding back. He knew what he was now.
It took him months to adjust, and he tried his hardest to live a normal life, eventually going back home and making up an excuse about visiting friends in the North as a reason for his recent absence. His family were non the wiser to his condition, but Tam was getting stronger by the day. He managed to pull off his regular life without too much trouble, quitting at the farm and getting a night job at a bar, so he could sleep and shelter in the day. Eight long years passed with Tam living a lie, but his brothers weren't to be fooled any longer. He wasn't ageing, and Ace and Milo were no idiots. Confronting him, they gave him no choice. His instinct, as it had with other suspicious people before them - told him to kill them. But they were his brothers, and he still loved them dearly. This being the case, he had no other option.... Locking them in his home that fateful night, he changed them both together, Ace aged 25, and Milo an even younger 23.
The brothers dealt with what he had done to them differently, and for a while they lived together, travelling around the country as the two youngest Bellamy brothers found their feet. But Tam.... Well, Tam got bit by the travelling bug. He was going to live forever. They all were. And there was a huge world out there waiting to be explored. After settling for ten years, the brothers parted ways and Tam set out on his adventures, travelling all over Europe, and eventually settling in New Zealand for a while when he became fed up of the unsettled lifestyle. It was here he learned to draw, perfecting the art as he stayed in the country for thirty years.
It was also here that he was given the opportunity to delve into the magical side of himself that he had been dealing with on his own for years. A woman by the name of Jane boldly sat beside him at a new pub he was trying out, and the first thing she said to him was "I noticed your accent earlier. Did you go to Hogwarts, then?" Her own accent was British, and Tam stared at her for a long moment, having thought he would never know the word Hogwarts ever again in his life. It turned out the magical school was real, and he was sitting in a magical pub, surrounded by witches and wizards. Jane introduced him to some of her friends, and after a few weeks of getting to grips with the fact that it was all real, Tam was given a wand of his own for free by the very generous wandmaker who didn't want to die, and he spent the majority of his time in New Zealand learning magic and mastering the different areas of it with the help of Jane and her friends, who only had to be compelled a few times, to be fair to them.
Tam reunited with his brothers every so often on their travels, more specifically in the early 1900's, when he decided to see what the fuss with America was. His accent now a mix of British and Kiwi, he soon developed an odd American twang after spending fifty years moving from state to state, living life to the full and embracing his vampiric nature. He found that after living so long he didn't see the point in respecting human life any more. All he had to do, it seemed, was blink, and a human life was over. So fleeting was their time on Earth, it was hardly worth fussing about really. He knew he had become a monster, killing on a whim and feeling nothing for it, but he was enjoying his life and saw no reason to stop.
He currently resides back in England, where he finds the current war that is brewing very interesting. On the one hand, he resents the thought of only those of pure blood being allowed to perform magic, for that goes against everything that Tam now is; a vampire that can use a wand. What a conundrum! But on the other hand, he loves the chaos that is bringing a bit of excitement to the world, and in all honestly, he feels like Voldemort might just be on the winning team. And Tam loves to be on the winning team...
