To be endlessly cold within and dreaming I'm alive It was the middle of the day and Tam was hungry. Not so hungry that he couldn't last until nightfall when he could find himself a proper meal, but hungry enough that it was irking him while he was alone at home. He had re-read his favourite book for the millionth time, and his house was cleaned to perfection, every surface gleaming. He could have sent a fire message to Zelda or Merlin forbid, even Mina, and they might have come to spend some time with him and pass the hours, but he was not in the mood for their company today. The hunger tickled at him like an annoying fly that wouldn't go away, and in the end, he made up his mind about what he would do to pass the time. Dora. Dora had no idea where he lived. She had been there many times, but her compulsion kept her from remembering the location once she had left the old church Tam called home. It kept him safe, and it stopped her from becoming a nuisance, as feeders had been in the past. She only remembered how to get to him when he wanted her to, when he told her to, and it was the perfect arrangement. Tam lay back on the couch, sun shining in through the enchanted church windows, charmed to keep him from burning. Golden eyes closing, he muttered the spell under his breath, and an apparition of himself appeared in a book shop full of... fairies? Hmm. Frowning, Tam took a few steps forward, staring down at Dora where she sat beside a pram, a small girl babbling in it. Dora's child. She couldn't very well bring the child with her, but Tam would not let that spoil his plans. He stared down at Dora, who was the only one that could see him, and uttered a single word. "Come."_______________________ tag: Euphadora Rose Parkinson words: 347 notes: <3 outfit: Jeans and nothing else. template by izzy[googlefont="Meddon"][googlefont="Cinzel Decorative"]

To be endlessly cold within and dreaming I'm alive She passed out. She actually passed out right there in his arms, and it took a lot for Tam to resist draining every drop of blood from her body and leaving her dead on the table. He'd done worse. He'd done a lot worse and then some. The thing was, she was set to be a really easy meal ticket until he got bored of her, so there was no point in getting rid of her just yet. He dropped her and straightened up as her body slammed down on the table in a crumpled heap. Tam wiped the drips of blood from his chin with the back of his hand and then licked that clean, too. He hopped down from the table and straightened his clothes out. He hadn't spilled a drop, as usual. Dora's neck was a bit messy, though. Pulling her up into his arms, he arranged her on the soft velvet bench so she could have been sleeping. Tam stared at her for a long moment, then ran his thumb over the blood on her neck, sucking it off. He leaned down to her ear, voice penetrating her dreams. "Find me when you're ready for more," he whispered. Then he was gone. _______________________ tag: Euphadora Rose Parkinson words: 238 notes: <3 outfit: With his usual long hair. template by izzy[googlefont="Meddon"][googlefont="Cinzel Decorative"]

To be endlessly cold within and dreaming I'm alive Boy, did he get a show. Dora's body writhed this way and that, and he had the perfect view of it all from his seat. He might have said that she wasn't really his type, if he'd had a type to begin with. Tam wasn't one to put such limitations on himself, but she was a tad too small for his liking. He preferred to have a little something to hold on to, but he did so enjoy her eagerness to please, and she had such a weak mind, it was delightful. He watched her for some time before he could sense her body getting tired. She was sweating, her heart was working too hard, there was a tremble to her ankles with each new step she took. He could actually have her dance herself to death right there on the table and nobody would even notice. Maybe that could be her eventual end, but she wouldn't be making her grand exit tonight. Tam was still hungry. He jumped up onto the table with her, pulling her body in close as he moved to the music with her, his hands firmly on her waist. He tilted his head back and opened his mouth, fangs bared for her viewing pleasure. Gripping her hair, he pulled her head to one side and sank his teeth deep into her neck. _______________________ tag: Euphadora Rose Parkinson words: 259 notes: <3 outfit: With his usual long hair. template by izzy[googlefont="Meddon"][googlefont="Cinzel Decorative"]

To be endlessly cold within and dreaming I'm alive The peacefulness in their booth while Dora slowly came down from her high was enjoyable. Tam had a buzz of his own, and he rather liked watching her come to her senses bit by bit as she sipped her drink and allowed reality to set in. He wouldn't allow her to panic. Causing a scene wasn't an option for her, no matter what her dulled instincts might be trying to tell her. In fact, he was just about ready for another taste, but she'd had her first hit for free. She would have to earn the next one. Tam leaned in, lips at her ear as he reached for her hand. "Dance for me," he murmured, meeting her gaze with intoxicating golden eyes as he pulled her to her feet and supported her up onto the table. It was just the right size for someone as petite as Dora to put on quite the show for him. Tam sat back in his seat, a smirk on his blood tinted lips as he anticipated his own private show. _______________________ tag: Euphadora Rose Parkinson words: 209 notes: <3 outfit: With his usual long hair. template by izzy[googlefont="Meddon"][googlefont="Cinzel Decorative"]

To be endlessly cold within and dreaming I'm alive He could taste the alcohol in her blood, bitter, sweet, delicious. Tam drank his fill as Dora threw her head back in ecstasy, her free hand gripping his shirt tight, though he could feel her hold weakening slowly as he drank. He ran his tongue over the fang marks on her skin as he pulled away, licking the last droplets of blood away. "Strong enough?" he whispered, knowing his venom was more than strong enough to satisfy her cravings. She had been looking for more, and now she had found it. "Drink." He picked up her glass and pressed it to her lips, moving her hand to it so that she could hold it herself, though in her current state she likely didn't want anything other than his fangs buried deep in her skin. Tam wasn't sated just yet either, but the night was still young, and Dora would be sticking by his side whether she wanted to or not. He licked the corner of his mouth, tasting blood there. "Mmm." Yes, she definitely hit the spot. _______________________ tag: Euphadora Rose Parkinson words: 209 notes: <3 outfit: With his usual long hair. template by izzy[googlefont="Meddon"][googlefont="Cinzel Decorative"]

To be endlessly cold within and dreaming I'm alive She assumed he wanted her drink, and his fangs were almost hurting with the desire to drink from her, not her glass. He tilted his head just slightly so that his eyes could find hers. Eye contact was a must when it came to compelling someone, which was unfortunate when you snatched a meal from behind and they shrieked like a banshee, alerting everyone in a fifty mile radius that you were there. Tam loved the thrill of the chase, but he much preferred controlled circumstances. It was all about control. Power. It was all about him. His needs. His desires. His hunger. His pupils dilated ever so slightly as he locked a hypnotic gaze onto Dora, searching her mind without really meaning to. Infiltrating someone's head had always been a favourite skill of his since he had mastered having a wand. It had taken him some time to learn, but he had found it the most fascinating aspect of being magical. It accentuated who he was perfectly, and helped him with these little games that he adored so much. "Not the drink, Euphadora," he whispered. His tongue ran along her wrist, veins throbbing through the thin layer of skin, pulsating against his tongue. "Don't scream." His fangs pierced her flesh, sweet red liquid bursting into his mouth as his teeth seeped the most intoxicating poison into Dora's veins. _______________________ tag: Euphadora Rose Parkinson words: 261 notes: <3 outfit: With his usual long hair. template by izzy[googlefont="Meddon"][googlefont="Cinzel Decorative"]

To be endlessly cold within and dreaming I'm alive He slid in beside her, her hand finding its way to his thigh immediately. She wasn't shy. He wondered how much she would beg for more once she got a taste of what he had to offer. They always begged, but some more than others. He drank her in as they sat there; her silently craving his attention, him giving it in just the right dose. His hand shot out towards the curtain before the waiter could open it to pass Dora's drink in. Tam took it without looking, and the lad backed away quickly, the black curtains swinging shut again, shrouding them in secrecy. Tam passed the drink to Dora, placing the glass in her hand, his fingers sliding along hers, trailing over her delicate wrist where her pulse thumped loudly. His lips parted just enough to suck in a breath of need. He was hungry. He closed his eyes, listening to the erratic thumping of her heart. "Dora, may I taste?" he asked, his voice no more than a breath. He didn't dare breathe too deeply, or move too suddenly. He would rip her apart. The scent of her blood was overwhelming, if he spilled it in a fit of desire, he wouldn't stop. He opened his eyes, golden gaze fixed on her wrist. _______________________ tag: Euphadora Rose Parkinson words: 248 notes: <3 outfit: With his usual long hair. template by izzy[googlefont="Meddon"][googlefont="Cinzel Decorative"]

To be endlessly cold within and dreaming I'm alive Her willingness to go with him came as no surprise. He could have compelled her if need be, but he knew he had picked a good one. Dora was made for this. He wondered how she would taste; some people had a sweetness to their blood, others a tangy bitter taste. Fear tasted the best, adrenaline surging, but the next best thing was someone willing. When a person willingly let you feed from them it was so much better than having to struggle for a meal. An offered neck always tasted divine. Tam kept a firm grip on her waist, turning to lead her from the dance floor. People instinctively moved out of his way, and a path soon opened up towards the bar. He had his sights set on the private booths near the back of the club. They were sectioned off in a way that nobody could see who was sitting in them, thick black drapes hanging over each one. Tam paused by the waiter who stood beside one of the booths, assigned to serving whoever was in it. It was reserved for someone, but a quick word in the lad's ear changed that. The young man waved his wand and the reservation sign disappeared off of the table in the booth. "Anything else, Sir?" the lad asked. "A drink for the lady," Tam answered. "Cosmo." He remembered her holding a pink drink earlier. A girly little thing in a delicate glass. Perfectly matched to her. Tam stepped into the booth, pulling Dora in after him, and gestured for her to sit at one of the soft velvet benches that ringed the table. Her dress shimmered in the flashing lights, and he stared for a moment, captivated, enjoying her beauty as well as anticipating the feed. There was no sense in rushing it. _______________________ tag: Euphadora Rose Parkinson words: 337 notes: <3 outfit: With his usual long hair. template by izzy[googlefont="Meddon"][googlefont="Cinzel Decorative"]

To be endlessly cold within and dreaming I'm alive He turned to face her as her body fell into sync with his. He didn't smile. A smile from Tam had to be earned. His usual look was often described as uninterested, moody, lost in thought. Tonight it was intense, probing. He was hunting, and his hands slid around the waist of his prey. She was as beautiful up close as she had been from afar, the only new details the enchanting green eyes she had, and her scent. Her scent was incredible, a mix of potions, perfumes, desire, and desperation. There were other hints he picked up on immediately, but Tam pushed them aside. The scent of a baby; talcum powder, lotion, milk. Irrelevant to his game. The scent of a dog; musty, dry, but not enough to put him off. He had been around many a werewolf in his time that smelled like that tenfold. Hopefully she would get home to her baby and dog in one piece tonight. Unless he got too carried away. Tam's hands expertly moved over her body, flipping her around and pressing her back into him. He lowered his face to her hair as they swayed to the music, lips at her ear. "Dora," he whispered softly. Her name had been easy enough to glean from her friends with vampire hearing. It didn't suit her, he thought, she needed a more elegant name. Dora was cute, this girl was all vixen. "You look like you need something a little bit stronger," he murmured, breathing in the scent of blood pumping beneath the veins in her neck. The temptation to bite down and just have a little taste was strong, but he kept control of himself. A crowded dance floor was no place to expose oneself. His fangs ached to elongate and take their fill. Tam fought against it. He needed to get her somewhere more private. That should be easy enough. _______________________ tag: Euphadora Rose Parkinson words: 350 notes: <3 outfit: With his usual long hair. template by izzy[googlefont="Meddon"][googlefont="Cinzel Decorative"]

To be endlessly cold within and dreaming I'm alive Tam had been studying the room for a while now. It was the easiest way to pick out his next meal. Younger vampires were careless, but when you'd been alive as long as Tam had, you learned that taking your time to do it properly made life easier for everyone. He liked his life right now, he didn't want to mess it up by outing himself as a monster. Most people that he associated with thought he was human, and though he could count those people on one hand, he didn't want to give up the game just yet. But he did so love to play. Luckily he could have any plaything he wanted, and make them forget he ever existed. It was always better to pick the weak ones, of course, though Tam often liked a challenge. Tonight he had found someone perfect. A girl with black hair had been drinking with friends and flirting outrageously with every male that passed by. She was desperate for attention, he could see; needy, insecure, damaged. Perfect. He sat at the bar while she danced up on the floating dance floor, dark golden eyes following her carefully, studying the fake smile she kept plastered on her tipsy face. Dora, her friends had called her. Oh, Dora. She'd make a fun plaything. Tam left his empty glass on the bar and stood up, making his way through the crowded club to where Dora danced with her friends. He would only have to dance close enough, just in her line of sight. Just his arm brushing against hers would do the trick. She would turn, she would smile flirtatiously up at him, and he would have her in the palm of his hand for the rest of the night, or however long he wanted her. It would depend on how fun she was, of course. If she was a complete airhead, he would kill her and leave her in the alley out back for someone to find in the morning. His body moved with the music, writhing against others as he slipped through the crowd, his eyes closing as he enjoyed the feel of being lost in the throngs of gyrating bodies. She was right there. He turned away from her, subtly stepping backwards until she bumped into his back. He glanced over his shoulder, hair a curtain of gold over his face. And she would take the bait in three, two, one... _______________________ tag: Euphadora Rose Parkinson words: 441 notes: <3 outfit: With his usual long hair. template by izzy[googlefont="Meddon"][googlefont="Cinzel Decorative"]

To be endlessly cold within and dreaming I'm alive He wasn't sure whether Zelda had meant for her little hit to hurt, or if she was just playing, but instinct told him to grab her hand and snap her wrist before she could pull it away. He could have done it in the time it would have taken her to blink, and had she been anyone else, he would have. Nobody raised a hand to Tam and walked away from it. Not in centuries. Just last week a man had bumped shoulders with him when passing in the street. Tam had followed him, dragged him into an alley and drained him of blood, leaving him for dead. A girl he had slept with once had slapped him across the face for a bold comment he'd made. He'd slapped her back and snapped her neck. Tam thought nothing of it, but this was different. Zelda wasn't trying to be offensive. The immediate jerk of his hand was disguised as an extra tug on his zip, and he stuffed both hands into his pockets. "Would you believe me if I told you that Kermit won't be starring in any more movies?" he asked, deadly serious as he began to walk down the street. "Frogs legs are delicious." He left his comment hanging in the air for a while as they walked, a flashing sign of a fish and chip shop catching his attention up ahead. "Are you hungry?" he asked, thinking that pretending to enjoy some chips might take away that weird bacon craving he'd given himself. The chips would taste like cardboard, but they'd give him something to do, something to focus on until he was alone and could eat what he really wanted. Zelda was a Hit Witch, he couldn't exactly excuse himself and go and ravage some stranger behind the cinema. If she followed him and saw him like that, well, it would likely be the end of their friendship, and Tam would feel obliged to kill her to cover his own tracks. He didn't want to kill her. Not at this point in their friendship, anyway. He still enjoyed her, and wanted to keep it that way. Without Zelda, he'd probably end up stuck with Mina as his new cinema date, and she'd talk through the whole thing and annoy him to death. _______________________ tag: Zelda Eden Zeller words: 419 notes: <3 outfit: Jeans, black jumper, black coat, boots. template by izzy[googlefont="Meddon"][googlefont="Cinzel Decorative"]

To be endlessly cold within and dreaming I'm alive Zelda seemed to enjoy the movie almost as much as Tam did, which pleased him. He was happy that he'd be able to talk about it or make references in the future and she'd know what he was talking about, rather than thinking him stranger than she already did. He imagined she thought him quite odd just for being a vampire. In fact, he spent a startling amount of time thinking about that. As his closest friend in the past few decades, she was fascinating to him. Why did she like him? What did she really think about him being a vampire? Was she scared of him under the layers of confidence and nonchalance she had adopted? There were countless questions that he could easily find out the answers to if only he compelled her. Tam wouldn't allow himself to do that, though, and it did irk him somewhat. He wanted the answers to his wondering, but there was a certain moral code that he had found himself honouring every now and then. Something that lingered from his human years. Zelda was fortunate to fall under its protection, and so he would not force information out of her against her will, or without her knowledge. Her question about where he'd heard of the Muppets caused the smallest of smiles to tug at the corner of his mouth. "Miss Piggy and I have had a few dalliances in the past," he answered as they left the cinema and crossed the lobby. "She told me to check out her work." He'd been with more than a few Miss Piggy's over the years, and none of them had ever lived to tell the tale, but Tam had no idea what he would actually do if he met the real porker. Of course she'd be a puppet controlled by a man with his hand shoved up her buttocks, but he imagined he'd be able to overlook that for a picture and an autograph. Could she sign things? The whole thought process was making him crave bacon, which was a shame, because most foods tasted like cardboard to vampires, so he couldn't actually taste the salty treat like he'd been able to as a human. They stepped outside into the cool night air, and Tam zipped up his coat for show. He didn't need the warmth, the cold didn't bother him, but it comforted the people around him if he played along. He'd do it for Zelda. _______________________ tag: Zelda Eden Zeller words: 442 notes: <3 outfit: Jeans, black jumper, black coat, boots. template by izzy[googlefont="Meddon"][googlefont="Cinzel Decorative"]

To be endlessly cold within and dreaming I'm alive Tam had been pretty pleased when he'd seen the listing in the newspaper. He'd missed it last summer when it had first been released, and by the time he'd gotten around to sneaking into the cinema alone, the place was full of kids, and he'd backed right back out again. He'd been so disappointed, but his week had been made when he'd spotted the title on the Pendragon list. They were doing a few showings of it on Wednesday nights for the next four weeks, and Tam was determined to see it this time. It wasn't often that he was such a fan of something, but this couldn't be ignored. The only problem was, he didn't fancy going on his own. The showings were at night, so there shouldn't be any children in there, save for older ones, he supposed. His best guess was that it would be mostly empty, save for other adults who appreciated the franchise as much as he did. He still didn't want to sit by himself, though. He only really had one option. To his surprise he actually had someone who he would call a good friend these days. Zelda Zeller even knew that he was a vampire, and though their friendship had come out of nowhere, and been completely unexpected to him, Tam actually enjoyed her company. She was tough, and strong, and refreshingly unafraid to be herself. She was also a bit of a princess at times, but he could overlook that, because she'd been to watch horror movies with him in the past, and that girl could stomach some gore. At least fake gore, he wasn't sure how she'd cope with the real thing, though she was a Hit Witch, she'd likely seen her fair share of nasty scenarios. Anyway, she was his designated cinema buddy, and he had accompanied her to some seriously girly movies more than a few times, so she could suck it up and indulge him tonight. He'd bought the tickets, and treated them to some popcorn. He had even crept off to the men's room to sneakily swap his cup of fizzy cola for blood. The lid was dark, and you really couldn't tell the difference once he'd used a quick spell to mask the tangy copper scent. He'd used that spell more than he'd like to admit over the years, but it really did work, and she'd seemed no wiser to his beverage swap as they sat together. The movie was delightful, and Tam found himself laughing out loud at points, which was something he wasn't really known for by those that knew him more than just an acquaintance. It was nearly over, but Tam snorted with delight, shaking his head at the huge screen and turning to Zelda. "I love it when Fozzie Bear says waka waka," he said quietly, doing a pretty good impression of his favourite muppet. Yes, they were watching The Muppet Movie, and it was downright delightful. Tam was in his element as he sipped his cup of blood. _______________________ tag: Zelda Eden Zeller words: 547 notes: Don't you tell a soul, Zeli! <3 outfit: Jeans, black jumper, black coat, boots. template by izzy[googlefont="Meddon"][googlefont="Cinzel Decorative"]

Take a Walk on the Wild Side Tam could read people like no other, and the man beside him was ready to retire. This was usually the point of the evening where Tam would reach across the table with lightning speed, slam the guy's head on the bar hard enough to knock him out, then "help his friend" out of the building. There was usually an alley nearby that would give adequate cover while he sucked their veins dry and left them for dead. This man would probably be someone he would leave alive, with just enough life in him to recover, however long that might take for a man of his age. Nevertheless, this man was someone Tam had no desire to kill, but as he watched him drum his hands against his legs - an act that would have usually made him want to snap wrists with irritation - he found himself not wanting to bother at all. This fellow had spoken of such things that Tam had only ever dreamed of. He had real love. And he was so close to carking it there was no point anyway. He might as well live out the rest of his years with that woman of his. Finishing his own drink, Tam slid the glass along the bar toward the bartender, who snatched it up and after one swift nod from Tam, filled it up again and slid it back along the dark wood to him. He caught it without looking, his gaze fixed on the man beside him. "Thank you for the company," he said quietly as he regarded the man. "And for the hope," he added. For he had indeed been given a small glimmer of hope tonight. What this man had described was precious, and confirmation that true love actually existed. If there was someone out there for Tam, he had all the time in the world to find her, and though his dreams of a family had been dashed long ago, his dreams of finding a companion were still very much alive. He turned back to his glass, making a start on the amber liquid inside it without giving the old man another glance. He could leave. He could decide that he wanted another drink. Tam didn't really care. He was lost to his own thoughts now, and that was a hard place to rouse him from on the best of days. _______________________ tag: André Daniel Meadowes words: 426 outfit: Minus the short hair and suitcase? Take a Walk on the Wild Side Tam chuckled, more to himself than for the man beside him. He liked the sound of this woman, this bold girl who was once fearless. Tam was sure she would have kept a lot of that fire in her older age, but he had a feeling there would be some things that would make this woman quake. Nobody was completely free of the clutches of fear, and he often tried to find the triggers of those bolder people, the idiots who challenged him and claimed a boldness they would never truly possess. It could take a bit of time, but Tam was creative, he always found something that made them crack, something that made then scream or try to flee. They always did, eventually. He did like to play with the arrogant ones, they were such fun. Tam saw his games as an intellectual pursuit. They kept his mind agile, and forced him to expand his knowledge and creativity. A bit like doing a crossword, but with more blood and screaming. "And you knew she loved you when she didn't punch you in the face for asking her out," Tam guessed with a wry smile, trying to control his features when the man asked if he had ever been known love. His instinct was to snarl, to scowl at the thought of the woman who had ruined his life, but he held it in, staring into his drink as his thoughts travelled through time to a place where he had thought he had found happiness. "I have known infatuation," he said. "A woman with hair as bright as fire, eyes like sapphires. She danced straight into my heart the moment I laid eyes on her." He was gone. Lost in memories of her swirling around the bar like an angel of fire. He could see her so clearly, taste her kisses, still sweet on his lips even after so many years. He could feel the sharp pain of her teeth as they sank into his neck. "She was not what she seemed," he said quietly. "I would not be who I am were it not for her, but I am better off without her." He hadn't laid eyes on her since the night she had changed him, and though he mostly hoped she had met a grizzly fate, he found her sometimes in the faces of strange women in the street. A flash of her hair here, a sparkle of blue eyes there. She haunted him, and probably always would. _______________________ tag: André Daniel Meadowes words: 449 outfit: Minus the short hair and suitcase? XDnotes: <3 template by izzy[googlefont="Meddon"]
