River HouseHouse London, England Once the home of River Aurora Blackthorne and her husband Bert Pipp, this lovely house now belongs to her brother, Julian Astraeus Blackthorne , who lives here with his young son, Tristan. The house consists of four bedrooms - two of which are decorated beautifully for Tristan, and River and Bert's own infant daughter, Ariel when she comes to visit - two bathrooms, a living room, kitchen and dining room, as well as a beautiful garden. Julian loves living here and seeing River's child running around the home with his own son, and he intends to stay for a long time.  |

Hall
As you walk in the front door, you find yourself in a lovely hallway, with
soft colours and bright lights. The stairs are at the far end.
Stairs
The stairs leading to the second floor are swathed in rich red carpet, one
of the only bold touches in the house.
Living room
The living room is comfortable, with plush couches and home comforts. The
piano belonged to Bert, who used to play to his wife some nights after work.
Large windows look out onto the back garden.
Kitchen
The kitchen is down a tiny set of stairs, and was always River's domain. Now
Jules tries his best not to burn things in here, and his cooking is honestly
improving now that he has a small person to make decent food for.
Dining room
The dining room is a pretty generous size, and used to always be filled with
laughter. Now Jules tries his best to eat meals in here with Tristan, but his
son often has other ideas, and prefers to eat on the living room floor with
his toys scattered around him.
Master bedroom
The main bedroom now belongs to Julian, and he has kept all of the furniture
since he can't really afford new stuff. He doesn't spend much time in here.
Master bathroom
Impressive, to say the last. Bert insisted on this beauty and Jules is forever
thankful to him. I mean, look at it!
Tristan's room
Once just a spare room, Jules worked his backside off to make this a space
his little boy would be comfortable in, and little Tristan loves his room.
Ariel's room
This room is very special, because it was decorated a while ago by Bert and River.
They painted it all in neutral colours in preparation for their new baby, but never
got to use it. Jules has kept it exactly as it was and added some pink touches, and
furniture to suit a growing toddler, and he adores having his niece stay over.
Spare bedroom
The spare room is simple, and hardly used since Jules doesn't often have people
who stay the night (except for in his bed). Anyone who does need to stay will
have a lovely room to themselves.
Bathroom
Much smaller than the main bathroom, this one is for guests
and visitors, and is super easy to keep clean and tidy.
Garden
The back garden is lovely and lush, somewhere that looks equally wild, and a place
you could relax in for hours. Jules spends a lot of time out here, rain or shine.
