Avery MansionMansion Dublin, Ireland On the outskirts of Dublin sits a lovely mansion, hidden from the eyes of non-magical folk. This lovely home is where Finley Charles Avery spends his time. He bought it after leaving school with the money his father gave him as a graduation gift, and is quite proud to be out on his own in the world, far, far away from his father. The mansion consists of ten bedrooms, twelve bathrooms, an beautiful kitchen (house elf free), two living areas, a library, a dining room large enough to host parties, as well as a smaller dining area, and stunning gardens with water features and rivers running through. He also has a garage on the side of the house, where he has a ridiculously expensive car that he recently learned how to use after having quite the difficult start with it.  |

Welcome to Avery Mansion
Stunning, isn't it? Seemingly in the middle of nowhere, look at the
privacy those grounds and rivers afford him! As you approach the
home, you will pass through a wooden arch on the drive, which is
protected heavily with magical wards. Anyone wishing to apparate
here will appear just outside the arch and have to walk the rest
of the way to the house.
Main living area
The main living area is large and spacious, with comfortable couches and huge
windows looking out onto the river. A huge fireplace sits right in the
middle of the space as a focal point, and Fin has a piano similar to his
mother's one at home, which he learned to play as a young boy and has
a fondness for.
Smaller living area
A smaller living room can be found at the front of the house,
and is a place where Fin can relax when he doesn't have guests.
Kitchen
The kitchen is Fin's place. He really enjoys cooking and is proud to say that his
kitchen is house elf free! Not because he's for liberating the crusty little
creatures, but because they're disgusting germ fests and he's had a lifelong
phobia of eating anything they touch. He cooks all of his own meals, and has been
a brilliant cook since he was a child, sneaking into the kitchen as a boy and
making himself uncontaminated food. You'll also find one of the four staircases
in here, leading to the upper floor.
Bar
Of course, Fin has a bar area. It's more a tiny kitchen, but exists for the
sole purpose of making drinks to get your guests palatic drunk.
Informal dining area
This smaller dining room is where Fin eats when he's home alone,
or just with a few friends.
Formal dining area
The formal dining area is large enough to host guests, and a place where Fin
serves up lavish meals for friends and family (not so much family because he
hates them). It's also big enough for parties if you get rid of the table.
Library
The library is comfortable and light, with two levels of bookshalves to
house all of Fin's personal tomes.
Office
Fin's office is a place for him to meet with people he has to deal with to
keep his club running. He prefers to meet with them in more public places
rather than inviting them into his home, but his office is set apart from
the rest of the house, so it's not too intrusive.
Fin's bedroom
Cozy, comfortable, snuggly, dark. Not at all what any of his friends would
expect from him, but Fin loves his comforts, and the carpeted floor in his
bedroom is perfect for rolling around on, if you get my drift.
Fin's bathroom
The largest bathroom in the house is attached to Fin's room, of course,
and has a bloody amazing bath tub and shower!
Spare bedrooms
There are nine other bedrooms in the mansion. The largest was home to Fin's
best fiend Dora for quite a while before she recently got her own place.
He has friends to stay every now and then, and though his family is invited
on occasion, they aren't exactly welcome, and are given the smaller rooms.
Bathrooms
The other bathrooms in the house are all quite similar and a lot smaller
than Fin's own bathroom. Still pretty nice, though.
Gardens
The gardens all around the house are large and kind of beautiful in a wild
way. Full of wild flowers and water features (rivers galore!), Fin doesn't
have much time to tend to the garden, but he gives it a bit of attention
once a week. By attention, a few flicks of his wand usually do the trick.
The patios surrounding the home, and the balconies are a particular treat.
