The person of Alecto Carrow is full of contradictions. While she may seem very social at first, she'll always keep people at bay. Coming too close is something that is only reserverd for family and a select group of friends. Despite her upbringing, the young Slytherin tends to be openminded about quite a few things. She knows not everything is always black and white. The constant reminder from her parents and Amycus however, are driving her more toward the dark side of the Wizarding World. Don't get me wrong though, Alecto truly believes that magic should be contained to the wizarding families, but sheis afraid of what all the pressure might do to her family, especially her brother.
Her weakest points are probably criticism and jealousy. While she can be quite critical toward others, she doesn't take it lightly when someone tries to 'improve' her. Her whole life she's been trying to be as much of a perfect child, trying to be the daughter Michael and Pandora always wanted. And while that may be so in appearance, mostly her father is afraid that she'll be the weak link in the family.
