This lovely looking townhouse is where Kit Devereaux and his younger brother Oliver live. Spacious inside, it has four floors, the ground floor consists of the hallway and a large living area with a small paved area filled with potted flowers at the rear. Upstairs on the first floor you will find the kitchen and dining area, with a small balcony that backs onto the buildings on the street behind. The second floor is home to the two bedrooms and decent sized bathroom, Kit's bedroom has another balcony, the same as the one in the kitchen downstairs, and up the final flight of stairs is the attic, which is empty and either used as a training room for Kit to workout for his job as an Auror, or turned into a place for family or guests to sleep in.

Rear balconies
The rear of the building backs onto more houses, a small gap between the two buildings
allowing for small balconies to fit nicely to the back of the houses.

Stairs/Hallway
The front door opens into a small hallway with a cupboard for coats and bags to
the right, and the living area to the left. The stairs are painted black and lead
up to the other three floors of the tall house.

Living area
It took the Devereaux brothers a long time to decide on the decor for the living area,
since Kit preferred blue (used to Ravenclaw colours), and Gryffindor Ollie favoured red.
They eventually reached a compromise with splashes of both colours incorporated in the
comfortable, spacious room.

Kitchen/Dining area
On the first floor is the kitchen and dining area, light and spacious, with one of
the beautiful balconies attached at the back. The ceiling inside is enchanted to
look like glass, to give the appearance of it being more open and bright.

Kit's bedroom
Being the eldest sibling, Kit got the biggest bedroom with the balcony, where he spends a lot
of time in the summer months, reading books.

Ollie's bedroom
On the front of the house, also on the second floor, Oliver's bedroom is neat and simple.

Bathroom
There's only one bathroom in the house, but it's a good size, and has a bath and shower
for the boys, who stick to a strict schedule for showers thanks to Kit being far too
uptight about having his privacy invaded.

Attic
The attic is mostly empty so that Kit can go up there to train and workout, keeping himself
in top shape for his job. If family or friends want to stay over, the room is set up with
a bed or two and made as comfortable as possible.
