Blood Status: pureblood.
Connection to the Dark Lord: Nicolas is from a French family who has strong connections with the dark arts and pure blood society. His Uncle Ignace and father were both Death Eaters as well with his Uncle living in Britain. They would have helped bring him into the fold around 1972 to become a Death eater after he had completed his travels and eventually settle back down in France. Since the Dark lord has come forth it is a custom for all members of the Bellerose family to eventually join the Ranks as a Death Eater or at least be a supporter, anything else is considered a disgrace and shameful to the family.
Useful Skills: Nicolas is an accomplished Duelist with winning various Dueling tournaments a total of six times since 1969. He has proven to be particularly adept at defending himself, against various curses and, is known to practice more uncommon aspects of the Dark Arts. He is known to leave those who end up in a fight with him usually needing medical condition. He spent six years traveling the world learning about the Dark Arts and how one defends themselves to it hoping to find a weakness in defenses of the Dark Arts. He felt finding his own weakness would be a strength so he could find them and find the exploits and moves people would use against him in a duel.
He is fluent in Italian, French, and Portuguese and has a good amount of contacts internationally in the political and elite business arena due to him being an international Lawyer and now currently an Ambassador. He also run’s his family criminal activities which involve smuggling operation of rare and illegal magical items and etc in and out of France.
Useful Affiliations: Is the leader of an influential Pureblood family in France the runs smuggling operation. Is also newly appointed French Ambassador to British Ministry of Magic.
Why join the Dark Lord?Joining the Dark Lord is something that is expected in the Bellerose family so its something that he was always expected to do even if he didn’t want to. However; he has always wanted to join the Dark Lord once his father and Uncle did and serve any way he could from his home country of France knowing eventually the Dark Lord would expand his influence and conquest of muggles and mud-bloods. His Uncle and father were among early followers in 1970, with them grooming Nicolas to become one as well all his life he finally went to join in May of 1972. He has grown up with a family that prided themselves on being pureblood and held strict family laws that dictated they could only marry and have children with a legitimate and respectable pureblood. This kind of upbringing made him believe even more in what the Dark Lord was trying to achieve, and he wants to help achieve that for him. However; he also wants to bring the Bellerose name into more influence by associating it with the Dark Lord who he believes will soon be victorious in the ongoing war. He also does not want to disappoint his family or dishonor the name by not joining the Death Eaters.
