–BACKGROUND ON BELLEROSE FAMILY–
The Bellerose family is a long established pure-blood line in France. They have long embraced the Dark Arts and pure-blood purist views, they also hold considerable influence in France and operate a smuggling operation of magical items in and out of the country. However, the Bellerose family is different from other families as they are governed by a set of traditions and laws that were set down by the first members of the Bellerose family. The most important one to know is that the family has a Leader, a patriarch, that is decided by an Duel called Royauté (Kingship). The winner of this duel becomes the Patriarch until he is such defeated in a Royaute. They DO NOT have to be the oldest to lead the family, and their word is considered law basically in the family. Disobeying the Patriarch can lead to banishment or death from the family.
Also, another important note: All Bellerose family members after Graduating school (Hogwarts or any school) are required by the family to take a pilgrimage basically around the world learning from various Bellerose contacts and others different aspects of dark magic. They are also
required to focus on a specific branch of master during this time to master. (What branch any of the want ad people picked is your choice).
-Rey Gerald Bellerose was Patriarch of the family for a short time defeating his Grandfather in a duel, however in 1950 he was defeated by his older brother Ignace Bellerose and his life was spared as an act of mercy by Ignace.
-Ignace Bellerose served as the Patriarch of the family from 1950-1977, he was stubbornly pure-blood purist but had an open mind to where he spared his nephew Alvar and his wife from death and simply banished him from the family for being a traitor. Ignace in 1950 decided that all family members right after school should travel the world like he did for at least 3 years learning as much as they can.
-Amoux Bellerose is the current patriarch killing his Uncle in a Duel in October 1977. Amoux took over as Patriarch and the family fell in line behind him as tradition dictates. He declared Alvar be killed not just banished. He is a completely obsessed with power and eliminating anyone who dares threatens his hold on the family.

 Rey Gerald Bellerose Death Eater(?) • 61 • Widower • French Ministry, Member of the International Confederation of Wizards/Or Something else Rey Gerald Bellerose is the father and former Patriarch of the Bellerose family before losing a Duel for Royauté (Kingship) to his older brother Ignace Bellerose. Rey is the father to Amoux, Estella, Alvar, and Elora and was married to a renowned Herbologist from Spain Moya Fay Bellerose before she died from a bite from a poisonous plant. He is a very strict man and big on traditions, he is extremely prejudice to another other than pure-bloods and hates blood traitors. He forced his kids to learn the dark arts at a young age and embrace a strict pure-blood elite ideology. He’s an very influential, manipulative and professional man in French and International magical politics holding a seat on the ICoW for the French Ministry for the last twenty years. I’m fully open to other changes in his history or job, if it flows with the whole Bellerose family of holding influential jobs, elite status and maintain their criminal organization. I see him as a Death Eater despite being in France mostly, or he can be neutral and just focused on Bellerose family. If you want him to move to Britain, give me a reason and I’m sure I’ll be good with it. Name may be changed as long as new name is French. Not much is planned with, but she is a devoted supporter of the family, and of the Death Eaters. I see her wanting to stay in Britain after completing her travel required by the Bellerose family. She would hate Alvar for being a traitor to the family and cause, and I see her working for the Ministry of Magic mainly to hold a job to help her family expand their criminal activities from France maybe. I’m to open anything really with Elora, you have full creativity on her. Open to name change if it’s French name. Job and Face claim of course are open to change.  Dylan ___ Bellerose Order/Neutral/DE?! • 26 •Relationship:OPEN • JOB: OPEN • PUREBLOOD This is Dylan (name completely open to change-Either French or English). Dylan is Alvar’s cousin and was son to Ignace Bellerose who was killed by Alvar’s brother in a Duel, (his mother you can make, Ignace married a woman after moving to England sometime back in his thirties. Dylan and Alvar would have attended Hogwarts together same year, his house up to you, and would have been good friends and partner in crime. I feel Dylan would have been less willing to draw attention to their attacks on students unlike Alvar did. After graduation from school all Bellerose family members are required to travel the world for 3 years learning more about the dark arts. They would have traveled together only for a while and then separated after a few months as required to complete the journey alone. You can decide how Dylan would have reacted to Alvar changing his views, abandoning the family basically to marrying a Muggle-Born and have a child with her. Dylan’s dad Ignace banished Alvar from the family but spared him to the dismay of other members in the family. Being a traitor is supposed to equal punishment by death nothing else. Now here is we get to the major development that you decide how it affected him. In October of 1977 Amoux Bellerose challenged and killed Ignace Bellerose in a duel to become Leader (Patriarch) of the family. Amoux ordered Alvar and his family killed. Now Dylan could have been part of this order and joined Estella (Alvar’s sister) to kill Alvar which instead Alvar killed Estella and escaped. Or he could have decided to abandon the family after his own dad was murdered by his other cousin and decide to join Alvar. So, he can be an enemy of Alvar or be his best friend again. It’ all up to you on how the final major changes in his life affected him and his relationship with Alvar.
