”I would bring Godric Gryffindor to his knees Make him bow, make his kneecaps to crack, and freeze on the stones,I want his neck to break from bending TAG: @open. WORDS: 289. NOTES: Outfit It was just another one of those nights again, where Raina longed for company which for her was something odd. Standing before her closet she slid the hangers over the metal rod looking for an outfit to wear. Something that was elegant but screamed “Godric Gryffindor would bow to me” as a smirk played on her face. Picking out a red dress to match her color of a Gryffindor she put it on and admired herself in the mirror across her room. One more thing thought Raina as she placed a flower in her hair behind her right ear, using her wand to change the color from white to a dark red. Appearting she appeared in Whimsical Alley, that held both her work and night life. Her destination tonight was The Ambrosia Lounge, or “the fruit of the gods” as what it was truly named after.
It made perfect sense to her as she walked up to the front doors of the lounge, she was in fact a goddess and even the door man recognized it at once. Plus, it didn’t hurt that she had hooked up with him a few times in the past despite vast age difference between them. ”Thank you love” she said with a seductive smile on her face as she waked past him into the lounge. She took in the aura of the place, the people, the music, and of course the most good-looking men around. Fruit of the gods they do saythought Raina as she followed the lady to her table. Placing an order for a drink she relaxed at the comfortable table watching the entertainment and looking for someone to catch her eye for the night, or for the future as well.

Thread Title
|| TAG: @name || WORDS: # || || NOTES: NOTES || Lizzie hummed contentedly to herself as she made her way along the alley, smiling at people who she vaguely recognised- and there were a lot of them. Lizzie moved in the kind of circles which stretched a very long way; indeed, some of them were possessed of circumference measurements that stretched across more than one continent, and a line that long needed an awful lot of people to take up the space. The girl knew people, and those people knew other people, and through the process of social dynamics, the eldest Greengrass daughter had become acquainted with people who lived thousands of miles away and only spent five minutes in London every ten years. Such was the life of a society lady; there was always some party to attend, and if it was there then you could bet your last Galleon that Lizzie would go to it. Just try and catch her missing out on any opportunity to dress up! Clothes were the best part of her life, so far as she was concerned, apart of course from music and performance. But even those lost some of their sparkle at some times... when she was tired, or hung over, or just not in the mood. Sometimes, she did have to wonder about the wisdom of taking up her hobby as her profession... It wasn't quite so much fun any more. Red☠Frost

”I would bring Godric Gryffindor to his knees Make him bow, make his kneecaps to crack, and freeze on the stones,I want his neck to break from bending TAG: @lizzie . WORDS: 287. NOTES: NOTES HERE The sound of the music along with the liquor was making her feel alive tonight. Her eyes scanned the room taking in the crowd of people from the cute guys to the competition of girls, who in her eyes weren’t actual competition. Reaching into her small red handbag she removed a clear vial that was filled with a light blue sparkling liquid. Removing it’s stopper she gulped the vials contents down, causing a slight tickle down her throat. It was in like a matter of seconds of drinking the contents that a wave of euphoric feeling crashed over her. A potion of her own making, it would provide the euphoric feeling for a good while, which was a perfect topper along with the music, the drinks, and the people. A smile played on her face as she spotted a good-looking man come near her table asking her to dance. Her Apollo had arrived as she let him take her hand and lead her to the dance floor as they danced together to the ongoing club music. This was a normal scene for Raina dancing with random guys at a club or a bar or attending a fancy dinner with some rich suitor. However; she had never found the right one despite her attempts to.
Looking over she spotted a newcomer in the club, one she didn’t truly know but she could recognize her due to knowing of her. The last name Greengrass came to mind, one of a historic pure-blood family in the country. Excusing herself from her ever-amazing Apollo she walked over to the young lady to introduce herself. ”Elizabeth Greengrass, correct? Raina Beaumont” spoke Raina introducing herself to a member of a powerful pureblood family.

Liz was not acquainted with the concept of a Venn diagram; it was a Muggle contrivance, and for these, she had very little patience, tolerance or time. Had she understood the things, however, it might have struck her that here was a concept which was very much applicable to herself. People were commonly held to live in social circles, after all, and there would naturally be some form of overlap because it was an antisocial person indeed who confined him or herself to just the one circle. Herself, Liz was the one in the middle, at the point where all the circles met- all the circles worth mentioning, that was, because she knew anyone who was anyone, and they knew people who knew people who weren't anyone at all. Between herself, her parents and her siblings, the girl could claim association with the majority of the magical people in Britain- though only the ones who were considered to be appropriate for her to associate with by pureblood society as a whole. Because she had no wish to associate with or be associated with the kind of people who had little or no magical blood in their families. That would be disastrous.
Considering the crowd in front of her, a martini cocktail securely clasped between her slim fingers, Elizabeth could pick out a fair few familiar faces, as well as some who she knew rather better and would have to make an effort to go and chat with later. For now, though, she felt she deserved a moment or two of peaceful contemplation. But apparently it was not to be.
"Entirely correct." she confirmed with a manufactured smile, offering her free hand. "A pleasure."

”I would bring Godric Gryffindor to his knees Make him bow, make his kneecaps to crack, and freeze on the stones,I want his neck to break from bending TAG: @lizzie . WORDS: 285. NOTES: NOTES HERE Raina knew that connections were one of the most important things to have including in the pure-blood society. The Beaumont family had once been known as long standing pure-blood family in France, with influencing in the Ministry and other areas in the country but the family was poisoned. Poisoned within as traitors sprouted from the family tree and wilted it further by marrying half-bloods and muggles even. She had taken strides in the past decade purging the family of all those traitors by killing every one of them. The Greengrass family didn’t have that problem they were one of the sacred twenty-eight. Raina shook the free hand Elizabeth handed to her and gave a warm smile to her in return. ”The pleasure is mine” said Raina in a pleasant tone.
Before she could speak any further to the young lady, her mysterious Apollo came up behind her, with Raina giving him a flirty look turning to him. ”Dear please grab me a drink please” said Raina seductively to the man as she briefly rubbed her hand down his arm. She held a seductive grin as she watched him go off to the bar to grab a drink for her before turning back to the younger woman before her. Raina wasn’t sure how to make any positive connection with someone much younger than her, but she would try anyway, either way at the end of the day Raina knew she was the best of the best. My blood is still the purest of them all thought Raina. ”He’s just like a puppy…follows so willingly always needing attention to stroke his big ego” said Raina giving a chuckle before adding ”You must have the experience with that?”.

Catch My Eye
|| TAG: @raina || WORDS: 327 || || NOTES: NOTES || Of course connections were important, and Liz knew this for a fact. Her family had been accumulating them for centuries and her own little black book was in fact several large volumes, all bound in red leather with the word 'Contacts' inscribed on the front of each volume in a curlicue golden script. But the only comparable weapon in the warfare of communication was probably the howitzer. The blonde knew more or less every pureblood of anywhere around her own age who resided in the British Isles, and a fair few from the continent as well. Not that she liked them all, but she was polite to them and they were polite to her. Strangely enough, etiquette dictated that while one could be as rude to one's friends as one liked, to be rude to one's worst enemy was an unforgivable sin.
She knew of the Beaumonts, of course- how could one not? Any study of society in France and the magical history of that country brought up the name time and time again, but she could not claim to be intimately acquainted with that family's current members on anything more than a perfunctory level. But perhaps that was just about to change.
She watched, raising a sardonic eyebrow at the woman's treatment of her... boyfriend? Husband? Probably husband, judging by her age, but it didn't do to assume these days, what with the world going to hell in a handcart, and so she decided to go for the compromise option of 'partner'. That would seem to fit most eventualities.
"A little." Liz conceded with an immaculately calculated smile. It didn't do to seem smug, but amusement was of utmost importance. Of course, there were some men who would prefer to have something else stroked, but that was not a subject which she wished to open with a woman who belonged to such a politically important family.

”I would bring Godric Gryffindor to his knees Make him bow, make his kneecaps to crack, and freeze on the stones,I want his neck to break from bending TAG: @lizzie . WORDS: 372. NOTES: NOTES HERE The feeling that she was getting thanks to the little potion she had made herself was beyond greatness. A feeling of perfect pure raw happiness that nothing could truly g wrong, she felt that she could fly without the need of a threastal or broom. Of course, she knew better not try that, her mind was still working not fully clouded like some drugs muggles made in their basement or trailer. She smiled a little at the young lady in front of her when she gave a response of “a little” on her question to her. She was more polite and upstanding than Raina truly was. Raina also was the only one really left of her family and with no kids she was sure the Beaumont family line would officially end with her. Unless she accomplished her goal of immortality.
”It gets so tiresome at times, and he wonders why I won’t allow him to just put a ring on it” spoke Raina revealing the man was not her husband. He wasn’t even a boyfriend or close friend, just a random guy she had hooked up with a few times from meeting at the bar or club. Younger than her, not rich enough, but plenty of stamina. Wrapped around my finger she thought as she watched him approach handing her a drink.
”Umm…Jerome, I’ll get you before I leave dear…don’t worry” spoke Raina as she basically dismissed the guy as she gave a kiss on the lips. That was his name right she thought quickly as she waited for his reaction. The Apollo gave what looked like a sad and anxious puppy look as he strolled off to find another woman to dance with. ” There is no relationship…Unfourantely most men are weak and can’t handle a strong independent lady. ” spoke Raina this time it was not a cheerful voice but more firm and blunt. Her true feelings showed, how she harbored feelings against men for thinking a woman could not lead or be in charge. It was one reason why Raina swore off marriage, the guy always expected her to know ‘her place’. She served no one except the Dark Lord and didn’t plan to serve any man in marriage.

The woman in front of her seemed happy at any rate, and Liz was just a trifle suspicious of exactly what she was so happy about. Yes, there was a reasonably good atmosphere going on, and the woman had presumably had more than a few drinks, but then Liz wasn't entirely sober herself, she would be quite happy to admit, and she was not feeling anything close to optimistic. To be honest, she considered herself lucky that she was currently in a sociable enough state of mind to conduct a pleasant conversation. Still, she let it go, merely taking another long sip from the glass in her elegantly manicured hand before returning her attention to her acquaintance. She merely raised a non-committal eyebrow at the woman's comment, and decided that if it was going to be one of those sorts of conversations, she was going to need another drink. Liz was, of course, of a fairly political bent- honestly, she really could not have helped it, with the family that she had- but she preferred not to air her views in public for the very good reason that it would start an argument. The girl was not in favour of arguments, not because of the arguments themselves but because an argument was usually intended to change someone's mind, and Liz knew before she even started that her views were not going to change. They were set in stone. As immovable as the mountains. So, while she personally thought that how the woman was treating her other half was utterly disgusting, she opted not to say it. "Independence is a prize worth the price." was her sole comment to be made on the matter. And Liz knew that she was lucky in having it. She had not been, as so many others had, a songbird in a gilded cage.
