Hey! Hello! G'day! Welcome to our little site! Just a little about this place. We're three friends that wanted to stretch our creative legs and get on and play about on our own site. This place is a labour of love and drama! You'll find we're pretty laid back and very welcoming but in order to make sure you're on our wavelength why don't you grab a cuppa, a fistful of cookies, and have a read of our wowzer bowser in your trousers rules! <3

SECTION 1
• 1 • First thing's first: HI! But seriously, the Admins word is final. What they say, goes, and they only come down on rule breakers for the good of the site, so please listen to themmm!
• 2 • Respect your fellow members at all times. Manners cost nothing, right? (This applies to the cbox, too.)
• 3 • Anybody under the age of 13 will have to come back when you're a bit older. Sorry guys and girls, but Proboards would have our head on a stick.
• 4 • They would also kick our butt if any of the content on here was too mature. It's meant to be PG-13, by Proboards standards, so please keep all swearing, overly graphic, violent, and sexual content to a minimum, please. Fade to black if necessary.
• 5 • There is no limit to how many characters you can have on here, so long as you can keep up with them all, and keep them all active. If the Admins think you are struggling with this, you may be asked to drop a few, so please keep this in mind.
• 6 • Register with your character's first name or frequently used nickname, thank ya muchly!
• 7 • We have a warning system here on TDT. It doesn't come with flashing alarms or anything fancy, but if you break any of our lovely little rules, you will be allowed 3 offences. 3 warnings and then you'll be deleted from the site. It shouldn't be hard to keep yourself from breaking the rules once, let alone 3 times, but just in case you do. Don't. It'll be bye bye after number 3.
SECTION 2
• 1 • Mary Sue's/Gary Stu's aren't welcome here. Perfect, flawless characters just aren't realistic, are they.
• 2 • Three little words: NO. GOD. MODDING. Thankyaverymuch. Basically, controlling other people's characters without their permission isn't big, and it isn't clever but it is highly frustrating for the other player. So please don't do it unless with direct permission from the player. There could be a straight up banning attached to this one if you don't behave yourselves so watch out and be respectful!
• 3 • Activity checks. Yeuck! Who needs them!? We have an easier way of doing things here at TDT and it means you don't have to worry about posting in some check so huzzah! Easy! Admins will just keep an eye on everyone's activity levels. If you've not posted for a while we'll check in with you and see what's up, what's happening, and all that jazz. If we don't hear from you AT ALL we'll make your account inactive, move all your bits and bobs to the archives and send you a PM notifying you of your inactivity. If you'd like to come back with the same character, just respond to the PM letting us know and we'll whip the application back out of purgatory and back into the realm of the living!
SECTION 3
• 1 • We are a literate roleplay site, here at TDT. Proper grammar, and spelling, would be much appreciated. There's always spell check to help you out, so please do your best to keep the standards high around here.
• 2 • We have a minimum word requirement of 200. You can go over this as much as you want, but posts with less than this are not acceptable. 200 is not very much in reality, so you shouldn't have too much trouble with it.
• 3 • Replying to a thread with just one line of action or dialogue will result in said reply getting deleted. It's not acceptable RPing e.g If someone begins a thread with a 500 word post, and you reply with three sentences, it's not going to be a very good thread, is it? Aim for quality, not quantity and make sure you're over 200 words!
• 4 • Spamming.... *shakes head* Don't do it. If we see people posting (especially in RP threads) with something completely unrelated to the topic, evil glares are going to be thrown about. Seriously.
• 5 • Also, double posting (e.g posting in a thread, and then replying again straight after yourself) is frowned upon. *frowns upon it* See.... >
• 6 • On the subject of tagging threads, it's kinda handy, and might be an idea to put 'open' or 'o' in a thread that anyone can join in. Or if you're planning an RP with someone specific, tag [their name] in the title. It's pretty helpful for people looking for threads to join. =)
• 7 • There are many ways of writing but here at TDT we favour a couple of particulars. a. writing in third person and b. past tense! So please keep to this. There may be cookies involved if you do!
• 8 • Date. Yo. Threads. Honestly, it helps keeps things running smoothly and easily. If you need help picking a date click here to take you to a 1979 calendar. Hogsmeade visits are on particular days so click here. And please, for the love of all that is Magical, write out your date, don’t just use numbers, it’ll get crazy confusing otherwise! So write kinda like this: Saturday 20th of January, 1979. You can throw in a time if you like, make it easier!
• 9 • If you're stuck on what month we're in, just ask! An admin or member can help you out! It's located on the front page at the top of the site for your convenience but it can be easily overlooked sometimes.
SECTION 4
• 1 • You MUST have a profile avatar and your mini-profiles set up with your pretties. If you're struggling to find some, or don't know how/lack the resources to make them, we have a graphics board here where you can post requests.
• 2 • All Characters must be of real people with a decent amount of images/gifs so we can embarrass them in the games and for any Of The Month wins! So no cartoons or drawings, youtube "celebs", scene kids, or anything like that, please.
• 3 • Sizes: Avatars should be square. 250x400 avatars should be of a still image. 150x200 should be of a still image or gif. 200x200 should be of a still image or gif. If you need any help at all, feel free to post in the graphics board or PM an admin <3
