Blood Status: pureblood
Connection to the Dark Lord: Raina knew of Voldemort since 1970 but she was in France most of the entire decade except for a brief stop in England in 1970 when she came back for a couple weeks to kill her parents, sister, brother in law (who was a muggle) and her step-niece who was a muggle also. Raina was on a mission to purge her family of blood traitors and half-bloods including any muggles married into it. She however during the rest of time in France hunting distant relatives down, kept up to date through news reports of what the Dark Lord had committed along with his followers. Returning to England in 1978 she was eager to join the Death Eaters and serve the Dark Lord, seeking out a supporter of his she inquired that she was eager to serve finally finishing her mission to purge her family tree of blood traitors proving how much of a believer she was in his cause.
Useful Skills: Ever since a child at Hogwarts Raina was always drawn to the dark arts but not just to understand it, she has always wanted to learn and practice every aspect of it. Thus, after graduating she spent most of her time traveling the world learning about different aspects of dark magic, including studying different branches of magic learning from different people she met as she traveled. She made it a mission to learn dark magic that was apart of every branch of magic looking for the most terrible and darkest of spells from Transfiguration to the lovely branch of Charms. While not an expert in dark magic like the Dark Lord her years of studying and practicing such magic has given her considerable experience and talent in the area. Her talent and skill in this area will come in handy during missions for the dark lords, and during any battles they are in.
Raina is a very skilled Potioneer falling in love with the subject of Potions and Alchemy at Hogwarts including Herbology and CoMC. During her travels she also picked up rare ingredients and recipes for various potions from the lightest ones like love to dangerous and lethal ones like an extremely deadly poison. Over time with her skill she has crafted her own potions more apart of the Dark Arts using them to aid her in killing her family and providing complete utter misery to them. She keeps stock of all the different herbs, creature parts (eyes, fangs etc) and other magical plants from her travels that could come in handy to the Dark Lord if he ever needs them or her to make certain potions. Raina is also skilled at Alchemy but more so when it comes to Potions.
Plus Raina is extremely good at framing people and covering her tracks learning from her days at Hogwarts and since every other member of family either was brutally killed or died in an accident, and she was never declared a suspect in any of the deaths shows how good she was of making sure no evidence was behind to convict or charge her of any crimes including the murders of her parents, sister, bro-in-law, and step-niece.

Why join the Dark Lord?Raina wants to join the Dark Lord because she believes in what he is doing and his views as well. Despite coming from Gryffindor house and pure-blood family that allowed distant relatives to marry muggles and half-bloods, she is brutal in her views on blood status. If you are not of pure blood you are trash, she hates half-breeds as well. Her hatred drove her enough to fulfill her long dead Aunt’s promise to purge the family fifty years ago and return it to its original statue of purebloods only. Raina spent almost a decade planning, hunting, and killing every single person in her family that was not pureblood or a blood traitor. She viewed this as something she must do and attempt to correct the defiling and tainting her family had done to their name and bloodline. Not only that it was done to prove to the Dark Lord that she believed in his ideology so much and wanted to serve him she was willing to kill all her family, and not in easy non-violent ways either.
Raina is also a psychotic killer who just wants to kill blood traitors and replicate what she did with her family on a much bigger scale. Her view is joining the Death Eaters accomplishes that and eventually will lead to a world where purebloods will rule completely another thing she wants. Also, Raina desperately wants to live long enough or get immortality (something she has been trying to achieve and failing) to rebuild her family line, she feels the Dark Lord could help her in that quest but only if she truly proved herself and loyalty. That is second to serving the Dark Lord and helping create new world.
