A frigid wind blew through the trees and pounded against the old glass panes of the window, causing an eerie howl to fill the hallway of the old Victorian mansion. It was only midday, but the grey skies above were covered by thick, dark clouds the blocked out the sun and cast a dreary darkness over the building and surrounding land. The property, which belonged to an elderly man whose body had not yet decomposed under the frozen floorboards of the garden shed some distance out from the main house, had, at one point, been neglected and in disrepair, both inside and out. The new occupant was seeing to it that it was once again fit for royalty.
The exterior of the aging mansion was currently blanketed in a powdery white snow, the walk from the rarely used road having been shoveled clear just this morning by a barrel-chested man with a bald head and a peaceful, distant look in his eye. The entire property, extending out into the wooded area miles behind the mansion, was secured with a series of powerful wards that kept nosy townsfolk from venturing toward house. It was, of course, a necessity, as anyone who approached without a marked escort would eventually be found slumped onto the ground where they stood, at the perimeter of the property, their insides boiled and spilling out of every orifice.
Inside the large, four story building the renovations had already begun. Several rooms were suitable for visiting guests, fitted with heavy locks and anti-disapparition charms that ensured no one would be departing without a proper send off. A small team of house elves worked tirelessly to clean and repair the formal dining room, office, and ballroom. The kitchens prepared a fine feast every evening, sending the food to whichever location their master summoned them to, without anyone ever spotting the dirty rags or hearing the whimpering squeak of an elf.
Black robes bellowed behind him as he moved purposefully through the corridor. The sound of his footsteps soaked into the walls and disappeared into a soft whisper as he turned sharply and continued on toward the grand ballroom at the end of the East wing. Gold trimmed double doors opened for him as he approached, enchanted to respect only one man, the new lord of this manor; Lord Voldemort. The candles burst to life as he entered the room, filling the space with a quivering light. A fire roared to life in the hearth, illuminating one side of the room more than the other. The dais against the far wall was swathed in near darkness, the light from the nearby flames causing the gold filigree on the lavish chair set in the center of the dais to shimmer. It was a throne fit for a ruler and Voldemort prided himself on that title.
His most loyal had been summoned, the burning on their left forearm signaling their immediate presence was required and tardiness would not be well received. There was business to address this day; meaningless praise to be given and news to be shared. Their foes were falling but Lord Voldemort was not short on enemies, the most dangerous being that crazed man with the pet phoenix. Plans were in motion, but to underestimate Albus Dumbledore at this point would be a foolish error, one which Voldemort would not be making.

the darkest of Times he's got me down on both knees saying that I want more, this is what I live for “ "A bit more powdered asphodel root." she said smiling at her daughter. Aurora was far too young to do magic, but that didn't mean that Bella couldn't teach her daughter the basics. Not that a Draught of Living Death was a basic potion, but Bella had run low on her supply of the brew and rather than summoning Lucian, decided to have a play date with Aurora and make her own. "That's my girl." she said fondly. "And then the wormwood right mummy?""Oh Aurora how clever you are!" she said with deepest pride at the beautiful child." She was so proud of her daughter. Aurora was an oddity in Bella's life with Roddy. She knew it to be the same for her husband who thrived on bloodshed and mayhem. It was an unspoken rule between them that Aurora's innocence was preserved. Sure the child would one day grow and understand the complexities of the world, but Bella hoped that the war would be over by then and only the pure would remain. Their daughter was indeed that, pure and perfect, in the way that only a mother could really feel, well a mother and perhaps a father. Roddy had really taken to Aurora after the girl's birth, and if anyone had that man wrapped around their finger it was their daughter. Warmer feelings towards her husband began to creep in as she thought of his gentleness toward Aurora, but she quickly cleared her head as soon as the mark on her arm began to burn. A feeling of intense pleasure shot through Bella. Her master was calling her. She would once again be near him. She would be in his commanding presence and bask in the glory that was his aura. The warm giddiness began in the pit of her stomach and traveled throughout her body. "Mopsy!" she shouted getting to her feet. Aurora looked up at her mother, a smudge on her face that Bella quickly cleared away. "Alright darling, mummy has to go to work, but I'll be back soon and we can finish our potion.""Do you have to go?""Yes darling I'm afraid I must. Mopsy will tend to you and give you anything you desire. Then we will all go out for dinner when Mummy gets back.""And Daddy too?" she asked excitedly. "Yes love, Daddy too." she promised the child as she gave one more glance toward the house elf. She didn't really pay much mind to the elves, but was pleased to know that her daughter would be in safe hands as she left to meet her Master. She felt the cold immediately as she finished apparating. The dreary crisp weather and dark clouds provided a perfect darkness that Bella wanted to melt into. Each step she took toward the Victorian mansion was measured as she forced herself to arrive in a quick but calm manner, and not the frantic sprint she wanted to take to be near her Lord. She paid no mind to the beautiful architecture or the repairs being made, it all paled in his shadow, and while the restoration would indeed be handsome, it was not good enough for her master. Nothing was. Her mark provided safe passage into the home and as her heels clicked against the hard floor, the knowledge that she was once again in the same dwelling as her beloved filled her with excitement. The clicking increased in speed as her feet carried her closer to Him. In no time at all, and yet in Bella's mind it had been an eternity, she was once again before him. The softest look passed in her eyes as her entire body turned liquid in his presence. The pull he had over her was more than bewitching. Just his energy held a deeper thrall over her than the most powerful imperious curse, and she had to force herself to gain composure once more. It all happened in the span of a second, before she was kneeling in the deepest bow she could possibly muster her entire frame very nearly kissing the ground to show him reverence. "My Lord."Her voice was far more confident than she felt, she was weak in his presence. But he knew this. He could see through her, and she let him as she had nothing to hide. Had any other attempted such a trick they would have been met with a quick end before the attempt could fail. But her master did not have to even resort to magic to see into Bella's mind, it was in her eyes, her very demeanor and reverence for him. She loved him. She would do anything for him. She was his most loyal, most devout, and there was nothing but a desire to do his bidding in her heart and mind and soul. She was for all intents and purposes: His. She would wait for his recognition before lifting her face, out of respect, and it gave her more time to compose herself, but she took particular glee in noting that she had been the first to arrive. Her heart harbored a secret desire that one day she would be the only one to arrive. That he would call upon her privately and entrust her with a mission. She lived for those brief periods of time alone in his presence. But she lived for his presence regardless. Seeing as how he had called her to the ballroom, she made an educated guess that she would not be alone in this particular meeting and was still delighted to have arrived prior to anyone else as was often the case. There was nothing more important to her than a summoning from her master, and would drop anything at first notice to be at his side. The only time it ever even pained her only a little was when she had promised to take Aurora to the show and was unable to do so. Later she explained to her daughter that Mummy and Daddy loved her more than anything, but they were fighting for a noble cause. And it was because of their love for their daughter and for their precious world that they had to fight. Roddy had told her beautiful bed time stories of much more watered down events that painted them as the victorious heroes. And while Aurora was young she seemed to accept that her parents would only leave her to do something noble and heroic. With her daughter's approval, it was far easier to leave at a sudden notice, though she would have left regardless, Aurora was her only other weak spot. ”

A puff of hot breath twisted in the passing breeze that sending a violent cold chill down his spine. His dark eyes turning upwards at ominous sky, the surface covered with thick, grey clouds. He found himself wondering what was coming in the next few hours that caused people to stay inside the safety of their homes. An uneasy feeling hovered overhead, the anticipation feeling like a wave of hot breath rolling down the back of his neck that sent another shiver over him.
He pulled his robes tighter around his slender frame as he quickened his pace down Knockturn alley, feeling the need to hurry with gathering the supplies that had him out of the safety of his room. His boots thudding against the cobblestone as he neared the apothecary that had the items that he seeks. His unsuccessful work with experimental potions keeps him a repeat customer here, but he was determined to continue his work. He knew he was on the right path, feeling like he will discover something useful soon.
Just as he outreached his left arm to grab for the door, a new sensation startled him. He let out a hiss through his crooked teeth while he gripped his forearm, pulling back the fabric to look down at the source of the discomfort. His new mark that was gifted by the Dark Lord. It was a brief meeting, but one that will forever live in his memory. It would seem that he was being summoned, and he did not wish to keep the master waiting. He glances around him to make sure no one sees him apparate back to his room at the inn he was currently living in, gathering his mask before he took in a breath and closed his eyes. He allowed the dark mark to lead him to the Dark Lord’s location, opening his eyes to find himself standing at the front door of a mansion.
No giving himself a moment to examine the exterior of the building, he was given safe passage into the home. His mark radiating the burning up his arm as he drew closer to the ballroom, his breath catching the moment he laid his eyes on the Dark Lord. Fear twisting his guts as he quickly lower his gaze to the wooden floor board, “My lord,” his voice a note too low to be confident, but rather the same monotone he was notorious for. After speaking, he moved to close the gap between him and the Dark Lord. Once he was reached the side of the master’s chair, he dropped onto his left knee and bowed his head. His fear had him so focused on the Lord that he has not noticed that there one another person there with him.

Post by Rodolphus Adalrich Lestrange on Jan 17, 2018 6:42:49 GMT
If I am an angel paint me with black wings
“He was sobbing like an infant! I thought he was going to piss himself!” Rodolphus’ head fell backwards as he laughed merrily, regaling his father with tale of the previous night’s events. He had gone moment by moment in his storytelling, right up until the MLE arrived and Rodolphus hurried away unseen in the dead of night. Mentions of what he had gotten up to afterwards, how the bloodshed had been so arousing that he had made a detour on his way home for some tension relief at his mistress’ cottage in Wales, none of this was spoken aloud. He didn’t even think on it in his father’s presence, knowing the man had a penchant for knowing when his son was up to no good, and regularly screwing a blood traitor for more than a decade would be high on the list of things Adolph Lestrange would disapprove of. Adolph knew there was no love lost in his eldest son’s marriage, and an affair in and of itself was not what the man would be displeased with. It was the culprit in the affair which Adolph would take issue with, and he would insist that after all this time there had to be a reason beyond the carnal desires it sated that Rodolphus would continue to fraternize with such a traitorous creature. There was, of course, but Rodolphus didn’t feel like explaining to his father the ins and outs of the highly sadistic nature of his relationship with Dorcas Meadowes.
They were well into their second – third? drink of the day, shut into Adolph’s expansive office on the top floor of the Lestrange Industries headquarters. On the other side of the building was Rodolphus’ office, equally as extravagant though only three-quarters the size of his father’s. The men rarely met in Rodolphus’ office, it was always Adolph’s if they met in the office at all. The pair, along with any other notable business wizards, were known to meet in high end pubs and restaurants to conduct business, but this meeting had nothing to do with business. At least, not Lestrange Industries business.
“Get your shoes off my desk.” Adolph had already told Rodolphus off for this offense once today, but Rodolphus was in such a good mood after the previous night’s events that he was far too relaxed and had thrown his feet onto his father’s desk, crossed at the ankles, and was leaning back in his chair with only the back two legs still touching the floor. “Lighten up, father,” Rodolphus bemoaned as his chair fell forward and he placed his feet back firmly on the carpeted floor. “I know you’ve had it enchanted to repel scratches, surely it can handle a little light footwork.” Rodolphus’ own desk had a similar enchantment placed upon it, and he’d put it to use buggering the secretary from time to time on top of it. A few secretaries, actually. And a few of his personal assistants. And one of the witches from accounting.
Rodolphus’ insolence was left unchallenged as both men felt the familiar burn of their master summoning them. Rodolphus could feel his pulse throbbing in the fiery sensation emitted from the tattoo on his left forearm, the ink darkened and prominent by the summons. Quickly, Rodolphus leapt from his seat and moved to the door of the office, pulling it open. “Carol, love, I’m taking my father out for a bit of celebrating over last week’s merger. Cancel our appointments for the rest of the day.” “Of course, Mr Lestrange.” He shut the door before his father’s secretary could finish her sentence and a sound similar to that of air being sucked through a tube told Rodolphus that his father had already disapparated. “Cock sucker,” he fumed, turning to see that he was, in fact, alone and would not be first to meet their master. He rarely was, but that fact had nothing to do with his father’s willingness to throw him under the Knight Bus.
It was usually his own wife, Bellatrix, that liked to show him up in the eyes of Lord Voldemort and Rodolphus had long since suspected that there was something going on there besides pure devotion. Were it anyone else and Rodolphus wouldn’t have concerned himself, besides slaying the bloke for daring to lay a hand (or anything else) on his wife, but that was not a possibility with Bella’s current affair and one of the reasons Rodolphus worked so hard to master occlumency. He was, by no means, an expert at such complicated magic, but as he was still alive to slaughter any of his wife’s other affairs Rodolphus suspected that he performed adequately. It really was one of the only things Rodolphus had ever had to really try at in his life, aside from his duties as a father which had not come naturally at first and even to this day he questioned.
Not wanting to wait a moment longer and risk being the last to arrive, Rodolphus turned on his heel and disapparated from the room. When he appeared again, he was no longer in a private office at the top of a high rise overlooking a bustling metropolis. Rodolphus stood at the end of a shoveled walk, in front of an old Victorian manor. Several trails of footsteps through the snow to meet with the walkway told Rodolphus that he was far from the first to arrive, but so long as he wasn’t the last Rod was sure he was in no danger of upsetting his lord. Stepping inside, Rodolphus ran his hand through his hair, shaking loose the bits of snow that had fallen on him during the short walk up to the house.
The corridor was silent as he walked, except for the tapping of his soles on the hardwood floors but soon enough he heard voices and upon entering the ballroom Rodolphus was met with half a dozen Death Eaters, many of whom were still kneeling before the Dark Lord as he sat in his throne like a king. Rodolphus joined them, bowing before the righteous wizard in subservient greeting before stepping back and joining his father in the ever-growing semi-circle of Death Eaters. As expected, his wife had arrived before him to greet Lord Voldemort and looked as though she would suck him dry if given the opportunity. “Darling,” he greeted his wife in a hushed tone. More followers entered behind them but other than a subtle shift in his gaze to see who was entering around him, Rodolphus paid the others little mind. Eventually Rabastan, Rodolphus’ younger brother, arrived and after bowing at Voldemort’s feet, he too took his place at his father’s side, opposite Rodolphus.

the darkest of Times he's got me down on both knees saying that I want more, this is what I live for “ The quivering in Bella’s stomach settled as others began to arrive. The feelings for her master were still overwhelming, but she wouldn’t let her passion for the man be used as a weakness, or worse, be an embarrassment to him. She heard his boots thudding against the wooden floor before she saw him enter. Snape. The puppy with sad eyes that looked as though he’d been kicked one too many times. Bella had yet to see what worth he was to her Master, but she didn’t dare question Voldemort’s choice in followers. Whenever she found herself in doubt, she only needed to think of her own acceptance into her Lord’s trusted few. It wasn’t that she doubted her Lord’s judgement – never – but in her mind no one was truly worthy. He was so fixed on their Lord that she could see he had yet to notice her, giving her ample time to study him. The boy was so fearful, but his mind was sharp, and he had a keen eye for potions. Roddy seemed taken enough with the child, perhaps there was potential there. Sure enough another Lestrange entered the room. Not the one she had been expecting, but still a familiar and welcome sight. “Father.” She murmured under her breath and smiled pleasantly to her father-in-law and gave a small nod of deferment. It wasn’t feigned. She respected the man well enough, far more than her own father anyway. At times she wondered what he thought of his son’s choice of spouse, if he ever imagined Bella being a Death Eater, accepted into Voldemort’s inner circle. Was he proud or appalled at her daring? She didn’t have to wait much longer before her husband shuffled in. His footsteps she recognized before he appeared at the door she knew him so well. Her lips twitched in amusement and perhaps a little fondness as he bowed and took a place by his father. When he acknowledged her, she snickered at him, “Slacker.” she mouthed. She would have teased him further were they not in her Master’s presence. But really? Letting his father beat him to the meeting, to say nothing of the puppy. Mentally she was clucking her tongue. When Rabastan arrived, Bella stood a little straighter and her chin lifted a little higher. All Lestranges –the ones called for anyway – were present and accounted for. No fault could be found in her family’s loyalty to the Dark Lord. These silent thoughts that ran through her head kept her from fixating on the man who brought them together. She did not want her Lord to think her impatient, but hers was a perpetual state of excitement in his presence. She wanted his words, his commanding nature, she wanted to know how she could please him. ” [/quote]

The mark on Vienna’s arm was dark and strong. It was almost pulsating, telling her that the time was near, that their master would be summoning them soon. He was almost at the height of his power. All he had to do now was seize control of the Ministry and then someday Hogwarts and the entire influence of the magical world of Britain would be under his command. With his charisma and outstanding ability to lead, he would not be questioned. He had an entire army at his disposal and his elite, the ones that he marked would not be any form of canon fodder, they were the ones that would be by his side, they would be controlling and acting on his behalf, following his orders and seeing to it that the world was right, that it was just for the first time in its history. The idea of her son growing up in a world that was anything less than perfect was unacceptable. Vienna knew their goal wasn't to kill all of Britain, it wasn't to rid their Island of Muggles it was purely to put Witches and Wizards on top where they belonged, never having to hide from muggles. Muggles would be subservient to the purebloods naturally but they would not be killed - at least not all of them. The same went for Muggle borns, half bloods and the rotten blood traitors.
Appearing where she needed to be Vienna made her way elegantly down the cobblestoned path that made way to the picturesque Victorian home. Her long legs carried her far, fast. She was at the door in no time, letting herself in and making her way to the room where her fellow death eaters were gathered in front of their master. She heard footsteps behind her as more people made their way hurriedly down the halls, not any of them wanting to be the last. Vienna made it in before the others who were still a way off, she could only hear their shoes and not what she assumed would be their panting breaths. She made her way before the Dark Lord, bowing before taking her place in the semi circle. There were still so many gaps as more and more death eaters arrived, bowing and taking their own places. The room was fast filling yet remained almost silent. The noise that was heard was the flapping of cloaks and some hissing a little earlier almost like whispers from the Lestrange end. As though they were too arrogant to realise this wasn't a social gathering that revolved around them. They were a family so high up the social ladder they viewed themselves as the top and with that they felt they were entitled to behave however they wished, no matter how disrespectful, not caring just who they were disrespecting in the process.

Darkest of Times Being summoned by ones master was always a pain in the arse when one was in the middle of a rather bubbly tub with a pretty girl. Fin had been out the night before, and ended up going home with a seriously hot brunette who had eventually made good on every kinky promise she'd made him. It was a wild night, a wilder morning, and after breakfast, it had gone into round three and they'd somehow ended up in the bath. Probably for the best, since Fin felt like the pair of them might be more than a bit worse for wear hygiene wise, and he was nothing if not a lover of cleanliness. He felt the mark spring to life on his arm, and despite it's concealment charm which kept his company from seeing it there at all, Fin knew he was being called, and he watched as the charm evaporated, releaving the dark mark on his left forearm, writhing and the deepest black in hue. Cursing to himself, he shoved his arm under the bubbles to hide it, and reached his right hand over the edge of the bath, groping for a towel as the foxy brunette kissed him, oblivious that Fin was no longer into it like he'd been a moment earlier. Breaking his lips away from hers, he2 gave her a gentle shove off of him, and stood, water and bubbles pouring off of him as he hopped over the edge of the tub and wrapped the fluffy white towel around his waist. "Sorry, love, I've got a meeting I forgot about," he called as he headed for the door. "See yourself out, don't steal anything." His tone was abrupt with the order, and he hoped she didn't go snooping around his home before she left, he really didn't want to have to kill someone so hot. Entering his bedroom, he locked the door with his wand and headed for his wardrobe, drying himself off with his towel as he went, and pulling on black jeans and a black shirt. He gave his hair a quick rub, leaving it sticking up in a million different directions as he pulled on shoes and grabbed a black cloak from the wardrobe, making sure it was hooded before turning to open the secret compartment in the back which was where he kept his mask. Silver and swirled with patterns, it was a bit girly, but Fin liked it enough, it was quite similar to his father's so he presumed it was a family thing. Placing the mask over his face, he sealed up his wardrobe carefully, and apparated on the spot straight to the snow covered mansion he had been summoned to. Glad of the long robe having sleeves, he tugged it a bit tighter around him, regretting leaving his hair wet as the chill clung to it under his hood and traveled down his spine. He crossed the threshold of the mansion, entering the fancy building and moving through the hallways until he reached the large ballroom which was occupied by his master and the rest of the Death Eaters. Fin entered, heading straight to the center of the room in front of the dais where the Dark Lord sat, and dropped into a low bow. "My lord," he muttered in a respectful tone, holding the position before moving away to join his father at the edge of the room. Aurelius Avery didn't acknowledge his son, but Fin wasn't too bothered, he merely stood at his father's side in silence, and waited for the meeting to begin, thankful that his guest hadn't made him late. _______________________ tag: Sexy evil peoples! notes: Outfit. <3 template by izzy[googlefont="Allura"]

Post by Lord Voldemort on Jan 22, 2018 6:25:16 GMT
The clicking of heels on the hardwood floors echoed down the hall, signaling the arrival of his first guest. There was no surprise on Lord Voldemort’s expression as the lovely Bellatrix Lestrange entered. She was regularly the first to arrive and always the most eager. She was useful in many way. Cold, chiseled features remained still as black-haired beauty approached and knelt before him. Her face was hidden but he need not see it to know the admiration she felt at being in his presence. A silent nod of his head was the only response of recognition she received before his attention turned to the next arrival.
The room steadily filled with his most trusted. Their faces were all hidden behind masks and yet Lord Voldemort could identify each one. The markings on their masks were individual, their frames all different, but what stood out the most was easily their minds. Some more open to him than others, some willingly and some ignorantly. His dark eyes passed over each of them and he knew what their thoughts were of, what their desires, passions, and memories expressed. He could sense the urgency in a few, boredom is smaller number still, and excitement in most. There was much excitement to be had and a gracious ruler rarely left his subjects in the dark for too long. Matchlight was all that these ones would need to entice them. They were strong and pure, not only of blood but of heart as well. His followers. His children. His Death Eaters.
Like a shadow on a wall, Lord Voldemort rose from his seat and stepped toward the circle of masked wizards and witches. He passed in front of one of the large windows, the rays of cold, winter light casting a heavenly glow around his silhouette. “My friends,” he spoke with a silky tongue that commanded his servants to attend to his will. “By now you have surely heard about the demise of the traitorous Netherly family.” Black eyes scanned the masked faces as he walked slowly past each of his Death Eaters. Coming to a halt in front of one of the taller framed wizards, Lord Voldemort stared into the eyes of Rodolphus Lestrange. He was an arrogant man, cocksure and headstrong. His mind was not as easily viewed as that of his wife, though Bellatrix knowingly gave her thoughts up to him whenever she was in his presence.
“Thanks can be given to our Mister Lestrange,” though he left no room for any applause or words of congratulation to be given as his black cloak swept across the floor in the opposite direction and his words filled the ballroom once more. “Let this be a lesson to all that dare to stand against us. Righteousness will out. The powerful will rise. And we shall see the glory of our triumphs as we squash the muggle filth under our boot.”
Robes billowed in the candlelight as Voldemort turned his back upon his followers, allowing his words to sink in. Taking his seat upon the dais once more, he surveyed his minions, a look akin to pride on his face. Clouds passed in front of the sun, casting the snow-covered gardens and the ballroom itself into darkness. The flames from the hearth flickered, casting strange shadows across the floor as the circle of robed witches and wizards stood before their lord.
“Strength lies not in defense but in attack. The Order is easily weakened, as we have proven time and again.” The Netherlys were not the first of Dumbledore’s henchmen to eradicated and they would not be the last. “We must now turn our attentions to the Ministry and to infiltration.” There were some in his army that were already associated with the Ministry of Magic in some way but Voldemort needed something more substantial than Portkeys and Quidditch Matches. He needed connections with the law enforcement agencies, the politicians, and the wizengamot. He needed someone here to bring him a useful connection that he could exploit.

With grace and elegance the Dark Lord rose. He was nothing more than the wind as he moved his way closer to his followers, his silver tongue and smooth voice capturing Vienna's attention as her eyes fixated upon him. There was more than just wanting a better world as to why Vienna had become a Death Eater. Aurelius had been her colleague, her boss. He had gotten her involved with the Death Eaters and as such their places before their master were side by side, but as charming as Aurelius had made Lord Voldemort sound there was no preparing Vienna for how the man actually behaved, how he was able to capture devotion. He made you want to give your all to him, to do anything for him with the promise of not only a better world but of power. Everyone liked power.
News of the Netherly family had stretched far and wide, their demise was only a benefit to the magical world. The Netherly's were filth and it seemed Rodolphus Lestrange was to thank for eradicating them. It was only a shame he couldn't get his h ands on the child that had been at Hogwarts at the time of her family's untimely death. They needed someone within Hogwarts that could kill the child that had been there and drag the body out of school grounds. If they could be lured first then that would be far more convenient. Not that it mattered now, the eldest child of the Netherly's was now under protection which meant Hit Wizards watching. Despite the magical Law Enforcement doing the bare minimum they could be bothered in order to protect a clearly targeted minor the hit wizards in charge of her safety could be easily handled by a couple of decent Death Eaters. Perhaps not even decent Death Eaters, perhaps some of the newer members to their ranks could prove themselves, show their worth to their fellow murderers and manipulators.
The Dark Lords words did not fall on deaf ears. Vienna had not turned her head to look at her master when he'd moved over to Rodolphus but she was paying attention with every other sense she had. She listened not only to his words but to his steps, following his movements in her mind until he was in sight again, back on his dais where he looked as though he belonged. Leading suited him well, he was a man of power with an eloquence that so few Ministers of Magic had ever had. He deserved more than any to lead the country, he was the light in the darkness that would guide them and their true kind to a brighter, purer future.

the darkest of Times he's got me down on both knees saying that I want more, this is what I live for “ There were perhaps a handful of times, probably less, where Bella hadn’t been the first to arrive. She considered it a personal failure each time, but while she readily dropped whatever business he had going on to be at her Lord and Master’s side, there were times the delay was unavoidable. When running errands with Aurora, she now brought Mopsy everywhere as well, to ensure that Aurora could be taken safely home if Bella had to leave. Bella had also discussed the importance of her work with Aurora, and the child was bribed well for not making a fuss when mummy had to leave. No other task even came close to taking precedence when it came to seeing her master. She lived her life waiting with baited breath for the next chance to see him, and was always more than delighted that her fanatic loyalty was pleasing to him. His nod at her arrival even gave her the greatest pleasure. She was delighted that he knew her so well. That her arrival could be counted upon. That she was a reliable asset for him. She would continue to be so, now valuing her reputation and his esteem more than her own life, she would accomplish his will, die trying, or kill whoever stood in her way. Failure was worse than death. After the others had arrived and Voldemort began to move, Bella’s thoughts shifted to his elegance and grace as he seemed to float through the room. Was it possible for an earthly creature to move so effortlessly, stirring the very molecules around him? Was he not some dark angel brought to earth to right the wrongs of the world? Her attention was so fiercely on his magnificence she nearly missed his subtle praise of her own husband. Things had been different between them lately. She was happy she had decided to reconcile with him, and now instead of feeling mild annoyance or a need to one up him, she felt pride. She would need to be careful with these emotions lest they get out of hand. Her attention was quickly redirected however when Voldemort became passionate about squashing the muggle filth. He was so powerful, so enthralling. She wanted to absorb the essence in the room as he spoke with such righteous purpose, she resisted the urge to cheer, but beneath her mask her smile was full of adoration and awe. She basked in the darkness of his praise and pride. Upon revealing the purpose of their meeting Bella’s eyes widened. Infiltrate the Ministry? The very idea was electrifying, and so very right. The Ministry needed to fall, the system was corrupt with muggle-love, it needed to be rebuilt in His image, in righteousness. Bella would set mind and heart to purpose and discover a weak link within the organization to bring glory to his name. Her eyes traveled to her husband, could they work together on this? It had been a long while since they had done anything together that was not strictly ordered. When they were younger, before the chasm widened between them, they were quite fierce side by side. Could they be again? ”

If I am an angel paint me with black wings
Murdering the Netherlys had been an enjoyable evening. Rodolphus had taken care to ensure that the blood traitors suffered greatly for their crimes against wizardkind, and to that end Rodolphus understood what could hurt them worst of all. Rod himself had had this exact dream a number of times, waking from his sleep in a thick sweat and an illogical fury that could only be settled by seeing his sweet daughter sleeping soundly in her bed followed immediately by hearing someone cry out in mortal agony. To a parent, the worst thing in the world is seeing your child in pain. Rodolphus would easily slaughter anyone who dared harm a single hair on his daughter’s head, and Merlin save the fool she brings home as a teenager to meet her parents.
The moment he heard the youngest gasp at the sight of him inside their home, Rodolphus knew it would be the most heartbreaking moment the Netherlys would ever experience. It would also be their last. He took pleasure in watching Agatha smile absently as she slit her daughters’ necks, Archibald watching impotently from the sidelines. The more gruesome details had been kept out of the papers but there was enough noted that their enemies could venture a guess at the excruciating details of the Netherlys last moments, and potentially rethink defying Lord Voldemort. If that didn’t work, Rodolphus had no qualms with slaughtering the whole lot of them.
He had been here before, hearing the quickly passed over praise of his work for the Dark Lord. It did not discourage him. Rodolphus did not require the praise of every witch and wizard in the room, he knew his value in his master’s eyes and in his own. He stood tall, noticing the subtle added height to his father who stood beside him, clearly proud of his eldest son even if his face was hidden behind a mask. Roddy felt Bellatrix’s attention turn to him as well. The deep rift between them was slowly mending but he doubted this renewed interest would last without a little rivalry. He was not a stupid man, Rodolphus could see that Bella’s interests lied in Lord Voldemort in a completely different way than his own, or even any other witch in the room. Bella was fiercely loyal and Rodolphus was not at the top of her list of those who had earned her loyalty, but he was rising. Slowly.
Voldemort’s speech was riveting and the purpose of their meeting had become clear. They were take on the Ministry. Finally. Rodolphus’ eyes flashed over to the masked figure he recognized as Fin Avery. Fin’s father, the tall bloke standing near Fin presumably, worked in the Ministry but while Aurelius had helped them out a time or two by setting up undocumented portkeys to aid in their travels, the senior Avery wasn’t providing any usable intel as far as Rod was aware. Thick eyebrows furrowed behind his silver mask as Rodolphus considered what connections in the Ministry he could exploit to bring to the Dark Lord’s feet. Perhaps his young cousin Jovi could take up a position there upon graduation. She was eager to prove herself to the mysterious dark wizard she had heard so much about and taking on an internship or becoming a secretary inside the Ministry of Magic wasn’t nearly as degrading as some of the other positions she could take to prove her worth. It seemed a little chat with his cousin would be in his future.
He could feel Bellatrix’s eyes on him and he turned his head slightly to look over at her. What was she thinking? He couldn’t tell. Rodolphus had trained to keep his mind private but he did not yet have the ability to see into others’. It would have been an extremely useful power in navigating the choppy waters of his marriage with the attractive psychopath but then he really never needed to guess when she was mad at him, only why, and for the most part Rodolphus didn’t care about the why. He knew the grander offense in her eyes was his reaction to the news that their child was a girl instead of the boy he had been expecting, the boy he deserved. But there were more minor offenses in their day to day lives that Rodolphus neither recognized nor cared to ask about. Being a Legilimens would not have made up for the apathy he had felt before.

Darkest of Times A deafening silence fell over the already hushed room as Voldemort began to speak, rising from his seat at the head of the room and moving along the line of his followers. He paused in front of Rodolphus, giving thanks to the man for a job well done in eliminating the Netherly family. Fin had heard all about it, including most of the gory details on the deaths of the couple and their children. It was gruesome, but he would expect nothing less from Rodolphus Lestrange, who was rather dramatic when he felt the urge. His killing style was fancy, brutal, showy, and usually impressive. Fin's killing style was more unpredictably chopping people down in a frenzy of adrenaline, but he could admire the styles of others, too, and Rodolphus was definitely one to watch and learn from. Still, it amused Fin to see him getting praise of some sort from the Dark Lord, and he pressed his lips together to try and control the urge to smirk at Roddy getting the opportunity to be teachers pet for all to see. He could not disagree with the words that were spoken, though, especially the part about squashing muggle filth under boots. Yeah, that bit was good. Talk moved on to new plans for the group, and Fin felt his father stiffen beside him at the mention of infiltrating the Ministry. Why was Aurelius so quick to react to the topic? Was daddy not pulling his weight in the magical transportation office? Fin wanted to cackle at the thought of is dad failing the Dark Lord in some way, and he could practically hear his father's heart pumping away next to him. Fin swallowed and kept his gaze fixed on their master to keep himself focused. It would not do to indulge in amusement at your twat of a father's discomfort in the middle of a serious meeting. He'd laugh his arse off later, after speaking subtly to his father of course about how things were going at the Ministry. He expected the man to tell him all was well, and assure him that other areas needed to be taken over and that the words spoken today were nothing to do with any shortcomings of Aurelius' office. Fin was never more glad about not following his father into the Ministry than he was right then. He'd escaped his own heart racing at the prospect of his own failure, and instead, he could remain detached and let others take the onus for infiltrating the place, while Fin carried on as he was. _______________________ tag: Sexy evil peoples! notes: Outfit. <3 template by izzy[googlefont="Allura"]

Darkest of Times Well, at least the Dark Lord had been considerate enough to schedule a meeting during the lunch hour so that it was feasible for those of his followers that actually had jobs other than being rich and sitting around on their arses all day to actually get there on time. Evie couldn't imagine doing such a thing herself, the thought of going to waste, just rotting in a nice house while your hideous husband went to work and got to socialise and actually feel like he had a proper place in the world... That was not what Evie wanted for herself. She was no housewife, and once she did marry, she would insist on keeping her job, or at least being able to do some sort of work so that she had some semblance of her own life, rather than just raising children and painting her nails. She would go insane if that was all she had to do with her days. Working at the Ministry kept her on her toes, gave her something to occupy her mind, as well as her body, and it also gave her access to some of the hottest men she had ever seen. Between Jasper Scamander, Dorian Humbert and Sirius Black all swanning around the building, it was a wonder anyone got any work done at all. Evie signed out of the building at eleven forty-five, and immediately apparated home so that she could change into her robes and mask, heading straight for the Death Eater headquarters, heels clicking on the pavement as she made her way along the snowy path and into the manor, passing through the barrier at the large front door and meandering through the hallways until she reached the ballroom where meetings were always held. The Dark Lord sat in his seat at the center of the room, and she clicked across the room to him, ignoring the other masked and robes figures lining the edges of the grand space, and dropping into a respectful curtsy. Holding the pose for a few seconds, her head bowed, dark curls falling over her mask, she straightened and moved into position amongst the other Death Eaters, wondering if she was the last one to arrive, since the room was packed. It didn't matter anyway, within minutes their master rose from his seat and addressed them, praising Rodolphus Lestrange for his excellent work in murdering the whole of the Netherly family. Evie had been at the crime scene herself only a few hours later, and it had been quite the artistic piece of work. Disgusting, but strangely admirable. She clasped her hands in front of her as she listened as the Dark Lord spoke of infiltrating the Ministry, thinking it might be nice to have a few more Death Eaters to chat to on her breaks at work if the Law Enforcement department was to gain a few new employees soon. It was exhausting pretending to be so respectable all of the time. _______________________ tag: The badasses. notes: Outfit. <3 template by izzy[googlefont="Mrs Saint Delafield"]

For a few moments the room was strangely silent of any human noise. Gentle crackling of fire in the hearth could be heard, as was the wind that whipped the window panes as a storm grew outside. The clouds, which had blown past the sun and let in a small glimmer of light over the crystal-like snow that laid across the lawns, had now swallowed the sun whole and cast the day into an early night. The only light came from the fireplace and the sconces that lines the walls, casting eerie shadows which danced across the ballroom floor like shuttering royalty.
Black eyes scanned the room; the faces hidden behind black and silver masks told him more than their expressions ever could. The flickering sparks on ideas were forming in his servants’ minds. They were fragmented and not yet fully-formed but they were there, ready to be built upon and exploited. Voldemort could feel the adoration in the room as he sat upon his throne and surveyed his army, who waited for his command to overtake the land that rightfully belonged to him. “Miss Nott,” his cool drawl broke through the silence as his eyes landed finally on the slender young witch. “You are in a very prized position, one which I am sure everyone here envies greatly.” And why wouldn’t they envy anyone whom the Dark Lord was praising? They were but children suckling at the teat of their mother and pleading for a scrap of affection and nourishment, and should they prove themselves useful then they would be rewarded. If they show themselves to be less than useful, well, that would be a terribly bad idea. “You shall be my eyes and ears within the Ministry.”
The Ministry would be the first brick in the wall, then Hogwarts, then all of Britain. It would not be long before Dumbledore and his ideological rubbish pile he called The Order were bowing before him or slain at his feet. “But the Ministry is large and there is much to be learned and many weaknesses to be exposed.” Lord Voldemort sat stiffly in his chair, his chin raised slightly as he looked at his warriors. There were so few of them that were worth any importance beyond fighting. “I require more than one Hit Witch and I expect to be offered more political assurances.” He spoke firmly as he commanded his minions to exploit their connections and bring him someone of value. “We need allies in London. Bring them to me.”
Without another word and with no formal excusal, Lord Voldemort rose from his chair upon the dais and moved toward an antechamber on the far wall. Black robes billowed behind him and the hard soles of his shoes clicked against the marble floor. ‘I must speak with you privately, my Bella.’ The words would ring loudly in her ears as if his lips were mere inches from her face, his hot breath warming her skin. Yet his lips did not move and no one else in the room would be able to hear him speak. His voice was trapped solely in her pretty head and he left the door to the antechamber open as he disappeared into the shadows.

the darkest of Times he's got me down on both knees saying that I want more, this is what I live for “ Bella followed his every move with baited breath. Every acknowledgement that wasn’t her own was deeply envied, even as he praised her husband, she craved for his pleasure to be directed toward her. Like a young child seeking attention from a mother in a room full of eager children, Bella was determined to shine brightest of all.He asked for Ministry leads and immediately Bella began racking her brain for any connection she could possibly exploit. She knew the Minister was not openly supportive of blood purity, but the Lestranges had endorsed her campaign believing her private views leaned more toward their own, there was a usefulness there provided the right leverage could be used. But that was a wasted alliance with Clementine Nott being so close to the Minister and so connected to the Ministry. Any information Bella could get Nott could get twice as fast. Bollucks.Even the younger Nott had an inside scoop with the Ministry being a Hit Witch. But her master had asked for allies and Bella would find them. Allies came in different forms, some were powerful, some were strategic, and some were cannon fodder in the war. Bella would weed through any and all contacts, even scrape the bottom of every barrel and build an army worthy of her Master. As her mind spun with various possibilities she felt a despair wash over her as he rose to leave them. So few precious moments spent in his company. She knew her obsession with their master was excessive, but it was something she couldn’t really define. She had tried in the past to ignore the flutter in her breast, or the shuddering of her breath when he entered her thoughts. He was, in theory, just a man, but he was so much more than that to Bella, and she had stopped fighting the feelings. She held herself still as he walked way, it was physically demanding to not follow him as she wanted to.Then she heard him. His voice echoed in her mind as clearly as if he had been standing beside her. She melted inwardly the timbre of his voice. She shuddered at the cadence of his speech. But his words, my Bella, nearly caused her to convulse with pleasure. She felt his breath hot on her cheek and it was hard to breathe. She did her damnedest to appear composed, but her knees were weak, and her hands were shaking. It took a moment for her to understand his words, to control the wild sensations his private command had given her, but she nearly fell apart once more as she interpreted his intent. He wanted to speak to her. Privately. She would be alone with him. Happiness burst in her chest and threatened to consume her whole. But she needed to show control. She was infinitely grateful for the mask that covered her features.Head held high she followed her master into the antechamber with long confident strides that exuded pride.Once again in his presence she bowed, this time even lower if it were possible.“My Lord.” She breathed, her voice confident, yet the tone indicated she was clearly exhilarated. ” [/quote]
