A P? How did she get a P?! Sure she’d hung out with he friends the last few nights and she may have gone skinny dipping in the lake on a dare, and yes, there was that cute boys she’d hung out with for a spell, but how had she failed so badly that she got a P?! Harper knew she wasn’t the best at studying and in classes she preferred to have fun and have a giggle with her mates, but she’d always managed an A, sometimes even an E, and when she really put effort into a subject she even got the surprise O, but a P!? Never in her life had she gotten a P!
Rather haphazardly, Harper shoved her potions essay into her bag, knocking it into her ink that she’d not put away properly. The stopper on the ink came loose but Harper didn’t notice, her mind was elsewhere, calling Snape every wicked name under the sun that she could think of. Slinging her bag over her shoulder, not even zipped up all the way, Harper heard all the loose bits fall about but she didn’t give it a thought, she just carried on her way out of her final lesson of the day with no idea where she was going to go. Usually it was up to the common room to hang with her friends for a while but she couldn’t face them, not right now, they’d all want to know why Snape had kept her back and she didn’t feel like explaining it was because she was a dumb twat, so she climbed the stairs out of the dungeons and made her way out to the grounds where she followed the path to a bench near some blooming bushes where she dumped her bag on the ground and sat on the bench in a huff, not aware that the ink in her bag had spilt, soaked through the backpack and was leaving a dotted ink trail of where she was.

 Shouting in the street gonna take on the world someday Cass' stomach rumbled as he strode down the hallways towards the Great Hall. It was early for tea, but he couldn't help himself, he was starving. It would be a problem if he ate too early and then was hungry in his dorm all night, Renzo would be annoyed if all he could hear was a gurgling belly every five minutes, but Cass could stash some extra pudding in his bag for later, he'd done that before. Not watching where he was going, he passed the staircase that led down to the dungeons and his feet went out from under him. Landing with a loud SMACK on the solid stone floor, the air was knocked out of him for a minute, and he held on to his head, relieved that he'd only smashed his tailbone and not his skull. What they hell had he fell over? Groaning, Cass sat himself up, students passing by not even giving him a second glance. "No worries, just Wilder making a scene again. Carry on," he grumbled under his breath. People seemed to be used to him making a tit out of himself, it was second nature to them to just ignore him and get on with their day. Shaking his head, Cass stood up. There was ink all over the floor, and now it was smeared all over his pants and shirt. He glanced around, but there was no sign of Peeves in the area, so it must have been a student. In fact, there seemed to be a trail of it heading outside. Cass slung his school bag back over his shoulder and hobbled outside, following the ink trail all the way to the gardens, and a disgruntled looking Harper West sitting on a bench. "Oi!" Cass shouted as he approached. "Are you the one spilling ink everywhere? I nearly split my kipper in there!" Harper heard someone shout out, but she didn't pay attention, thinking it was nothing to do with her while she was sulking and concocting scenario's in her mind of how to get Snape fired, she was in the middle of daydreaming about unbuttoning her school shirt when the voice got closer and a boy finally stopped in front of her, talking about kippers? Harper looked up, the sun shining from behind him. but clouds threatened to rain all around, "You did what to a kipper?" She said, her brow all scrunched in utter confusion, paying more attention to Cass' deep brown eyes and his weirdly cute outrage, plus his scruffy hair was all kinds of sexy, but she looked to where he was pointing, not noticing the path at all and then looked back at Cass as though he was completely off his rocker.

Shouting in the street gonna take on the world someday Did she have cotton buds in her ears or something? Cass frowned down at Harper and then ran a hand down his inky shirt to draw attention to her. "This," he said, whizzing his hand up and down his shirt a few times, then waving it at her bag, which was still leaking ink on the ground at her feet. "That. You." Cass scratched his head and hitched his bag higher onto his shoulder, but it slipped back down again thanks to the giant splotch of ink underneath the strap. "I nearly broke my neck. You're leaking." Harper looked at his inky shirt and had no idea why he was showing it to her. Was this some weird attempt to impress her? Well it was failing, that was for sure. "Me?" She said, brow scrunched in a combination of confusion and certainty that this guy was a straight up loon. "Leaking?" Harper looked down to her bag and gave it a nudge with her foot. Sure enough there was a leak. Her bag was sitting in a pool of ink. That was probably what the maniac was on about, "Well have you ever considered looking where you're going?" She asked, opening her bag and seeing the mess inside. There was ink everywhere and so she racked her brain trying to recall the spell to clean it all up.

Shouting in the street gonna take on the world someday Cass gaped at Harper. "Have you ever considered not being a hypocrite?" he shot back, watching as she opened her bag to inspect the damage. There was a lot of ink in there. Cass didn't envy her the job of cleaning that up and doing damage control on whatever it had soaked through. He felt bad that there might have been homework in there that was now soggy or ripped but honestly, she should take better care of her things. Screw caps on, put things back gently. Not that Cass was the model student for that kind of thing, but he'd never had an ink disaster like this one. There was ink everywhere. Harper resisted the urge to reach in and start pulling things out, she knew that would only make things worse and possibly spread the ink about, and if she couldn't think of the spell she needed to get rid of the ink, then she was going to be totally screwed. Luckily for the little blonde, Cass spoke up and offered a spell to maybe make things a little tidier. Harper shuffled her bag about a bit and pointed her wand at the mess. She supposed it was worth a try. "Scourgify." She said, waving her wand and watching as bubbles began appearing in her bag. "That doesn't seem right." she said to herself. "What did you do?" She scowled angrily at Cass, who she completely believed had just made matters 100 times worse for her.

That shouldn't have happened, what the hell did she do? "What did you do?" Harper glared up at him. "What did I do!? What did you do?" Cass sputtered, waving his hands at her bag, which was now frothing animatedly on the ground. "That spell can't go wrong, what in Merlin's name...?" He had no idea what Harper's deal was, but she was clearly insane. He was tempted to take her to the hospital wing and suggest she might have hit her head but he really didn't want her to become his problem. Cass pointed his own wand at her bag and tried the Scourgify spell again. Some of the ink disappeared, but the bubbles remained. "This is the wrong bloody spell." She muttered, frowning at her bag. Seriously, this guy was a total ass. He's messed up all her school work and why? Because she hadn't realised that her stupid ink well had been leaking, well wasn't he just Mr bloody Perfect. "Fix it." She said, standing up from her seat, taking her bag with her and holding it out to Cassius. "Fix it now or I'm going to Scourgify your damned mouth." Her lips pursed together, her right hand clutched her wand, ready to not only Scourgify this moron's mouth but also send him flying across the grounds.

He didn't like being threatened, but far from threatening her back, he pulled his inky shirt off over his head. "Well why don't you clean this while you're at it!" He threw the shirt at Harper. "What did your last house elf die of?" Treating him like some slave who would clean up her messes. She had some cheek. Cass folded his arms across his bare chest but then his annoyance told him not to. "Yeah! Your mouth!" Harper's voice was raised and her brow was furrowed with anger. She was pissed that this moron had screwed up her bag. She had books and school work in there and now it was full of soap bubbles. "What in the hell!?" Cass was taking his shirt off and it was thrown in Harpers face. She flinched a little and grabbed his shirt, "Oh yeah, well," She pointed her wand at his shirt, "Scrogify!" She shouted, bubbles began forming on the shirt, more than were in her bag, and Harper launched herself at Cass, wrapping her legs around his waist, slinging her wand arm around his shoulders while rubbing his sudsy shirt in his face.

Cass thought she might actually be about to wash his shirt right there in the gardens, but before he could comment, Harper leapt on top of him, her legs squeezing his hips as she shoved his bubbly shirt in his face. The bubbles stung his eyes and he squeezed them shut, trying to turn his face away but she had a firm grip on him so he had no chance. He made a muffled cry of outrage and stumbled backwards, tripping over a rock and falling flat on his back, Harper still on top of him. "Get off!" he shouted, bubbles threatening to fill his mouth. Cass spluttered and growled. He needed to gain control of this situation, because this crazy, wild girl was going to murder him, he was sure of it. He gripped the tops of her arms and pushed, rolling the pair of them over until he was on top of her, pinning her down in the grass, bubbles in his hair and all over his bare chest. As Cass fought back, Harper gripped onto him harder, making sure she couldn't be thrown. Before she knew it, she wa son the ground and Cass was on top of her, calling her insane, "Me insane!?" She shouted, "You ruined my work! You're an arsehole!" She shouted, struggling against his hold, "Get off of me!" If she could point her wand at him, she would have blasted him off of her, as it was, she would only have been able to shoot at the sky, and that was going to accomplish nothing but alerting a Professor to a fight and then they'd both land a detention, and she did not want a detention on top of her crappy day.

There was no way he was letting her go while she was on the attack, she'd probably blast his head off the first chance she got. "I'm not letting you go until you calm the hell down!" She was strong as she struggled against his hold, and he struggled back. He was getting chilly as the bubbles turned to sog and left him wet and half naked in the open air. There was a giant, stupid arse on top of her! How in the hell was she expected to calm down? Harper couldn't take it! Snape had given her a 'P', this jackass had ruined her work, and now he was on top of her, keeping her pinned to the school lawns, bleating on like some sort of deranged goat! "GET OFF!" She screamed, thrashing against him, raising her legs up and trying to get her knees between his chest and hers so she could push him off with her legs.
